Just purchased, and was able to claim the pack. I've made it to the 25th Century... claimed the items but never received the ship. The Klingons are a playable faction, as are the Klingons. The Romulans are a faction, though it must be aligned with one of the other two... and has it's own starting stage with tutorial. Soooooo... Doing the current event (First Contact Day, 2021), and rewards are choices of comm badges.. there are badges for just about everything.. Saurian.. two different Trill badge.. KLINGON... I was concerned about that as well... but when I clicked through it opens up a billing page for just credit/debit card purchased... you don't *need* PayPal unless you have funds there and would rather use it...
