I found I was having a glitch I had to fix. It was causing issues with STO for a bit including animations not running properly and the bulwark health not dropping. I was able to beat it after I fixed the issue, although I certainly died a few times. Its extremely tough, I wish I had a ship like it!

After a few tries with the impossible ship, I finally found an easy solution. Its called the skip button. Done! I have no desire to deal with it.

I agree, the ship has no business being that difficult. I have no desire to get this frustrated doing something I do for fun. I struggle enough at work, dont need it at home too. Back down the difficulty a bit. Im not saying make it a pushover but it sure has no business being ridiculous.

The game crashes on me if I check out the Tier 6 ships in space dock. I just got to level 56 and was at the end of that mission when it crashed. We shall see how long that takes them to fix the issue on holodeck server. In the mean time, I have already sent off my letters to Perfect World to alert them to the situation. It has gone on way too long as it is and hopefully they will make sure we do not have anymore 2 year long bugs.

Yes it would be the diplomat bug and its the only bug in the colony invasion mission. It has been almost 2 years that the bug has been around that I know of. As of 6/22/14, it is still unfixed. No update from Cryptic about a fix or even its existence.

No response from the techs on this? By simply ignoring it, the bug will not fix itself. I will have to elevate this issue and see who I can find much much higher on the food chain at Cryptic to let them know about it. I do the Colony Invasion mission several times a day and every single time i see the bug happen, i send in a new bug report. I have sent 4 or 5 bug reports in one day. Im hoping everyone else does the same. A few thousand bug reports about the same thing just might wake them from their zombie state.

Shooting the diplomats if they run away? Hmmm... I like the idea! If they refuse to fix the bug, might as well be able to shoot the diplomats and get some satisfaction out of it. Could make a game out that in itself.

I have the same issue as well with the lighting. Only on the entry floor of my fleet starbase. If i go into the holodeck, its nice and bright, likewise if i take the turbolift to the other sections.
