if you check fleet provisions projects, you will see the total fleet credits earned exeed many times fleet credits need to pursurche thos eprovisions, and there is project designed specificly to for earning fleet credits. even now each project awards most of its fleet credits for dilitium, if you get 40 000 fleet credits…

they have different roles, even if you want you cant use for oposite role with not even near same efficiency. as if there is or there is not content to support those roles is another matter.
if you want to bring sci and cruser back into the front lines, in my opinion, they should return preview strenght of sci abilities, give them penalty when used against players, to not be OP in pvp, increase NPCs sustaned damage, and reduce peak peak dmg in way, that escort without outside heals cant least long taking fire.…
that will mean that current que system should be changed, if you get into a stf in team with 5 sci or 5 cruser ships, you wont accomplish anything, 5 escorts still can manage things, becouse nearly everting now is about dps, or on contrary entire game content should be changed.
noone said its a strict model, roles just differ, tac is dd eng is tank/heal sci is support you still have 3 different roles, isnt that trinity ? edit: and healing it its nature is a supprt function, so you can look on trinity as: tank, dps and support, exactly what we got here.

first sto is already f2p, means no mounth subscription if you dont want to altho i preffer mounth subscription and access to everything in game, then to pay for everything i want. and second i think one you quoted didnt ment mounth fee, but instead of gambling for a ship, to pay fixed prise for it, like all c-store ships.

when you buy a game, you pay for developers and designers work... subscription on other hand is to cover expenses like server upgrades, network bandwith, suport and tech stuff sailaries , and there is a lot more things you are not considering. and some profit ofc.

you can try turning off shadows and reflections in your video options, i think this should solve issue with your fps drop, also in troubleshouting you can try turn frameratestabilizer, but that might lead to some performance loss.
its probably not the case, but check your time and timezone settings in your win. if game somehow uses your local time to calculate when reset is it might couse a problem ... but them if game do that some exploits come in mind xD and if you can .. for couple of days ... try refine your dilitium somewhere middle of reset…
