I have been disconnecting a lot too, it is interfering with missions quite a lot. It is especially irksome in STF ground because if you reconnect you respawn at the first spawn point and not the latest unlocked spawn. I wrote a post in the sticky lag thread with netest and tracert reports here. This coupled to an increase…
I have been having lots of disconnects lately, it gets in the way of missions expecially stf ground where you have to start from the first spawn point. I contacted my ISP Virgin Media, 10M cable, and they reconfigured my modem for optimal MMO settings but it made no difference at all. No other internet using games of mine…
Yes these things are a blooming nuisance! They prevent you seeing what you are doing and cause even high end PCs to lag, get rid of them, also the glowing planets which obscure all graphics in front of them.

The work around is to open the character screen plus inventory first then all these other interfaces will open without closing it and allow you to do all the transferring you want. Its just a pain remembering to press U before you do…
How often do you press enter and start chat typing only to find you are typing hotkeys? Happens to me all the time and despite taking great pains to hit enter but it doesnt register because some other event has interrupted and blocked a perfectly good keyboard input. UI really is a disaster imho.

I find the UI extremely frustrating, especially in the middle of ground battles where the UI has a habit of getting in the way of what you want to do and that comes on top of inconsistent interactions between terrain, avatar and weapons which is before you even get to grips with the borg. eg I have to continually press the…
I agree. Coupled to this the full screen mode sometimes behaves like a window anyway allowing the task bar to pop up over it which is really unhelpful. It acts like a window without borders the same size as the full screen but it is not a properly fixed full screen.
