I can say definitively that I turned in a couple of birds from an earlier event and I did not see Iconian marks as a choice. I was specifically looking for it. Now, I'll allow that maybe I missed it even though I was looking for it. I'll try again when I get a chance.

My guess would be that some of the movement-affecting traits and/or passive spec abilities are kicking in when they're not supposed to. Another possibility is "Frosted Boots", but I thought they fixed that. Let's see what the Devs say.

I think Cryptic is missing a major cash cow and lots of repeat logins by not creating some kind of tournament system, or putting things into PvP that would let the community run its' own tournaments. With no real leaderboard and no tiered competition, the whole thing is just another way to kill time (and the opposition).
