The only pay subscription option we have is Patreon, which has expanded content, but all our public/wide-release episodes are free on all platforms. Can you share where you saw in the twitter link that had to pay? I'm wondering if something fishy is going on (unless you went to the threaded tweet and maybe clicked on the…
2 Qs: 1) Can you pay dilithium to speed up the process? If not, is there a monetization component to the system other than buying ships? 2) The Jem'Hadar Strike and Recon get separate A-Ships, correct? Thanks!
Looks like the Hestia Beta section is getting an update! @cryptic_ttc: One more thing - last night I updated the front of the Hestia's beta section to better match the other variants.
It's a bug with the cannon Promy skin (if you look at it in-game and in the ship store at a shipyard, you can see there are holes where part of the beta section would be connected to the saucer while not separated) -- it's is being resolved. The Beta section of the Hestia is designed as pictured above, and that's not a…
It's an issue with STO and DX11. From my experience, you've got to let it sit for about 20 minutes, and it will load in, and continue to load in quickly from then on UNTIL a new branch goes out. Then you've got to wait again.
There's no chance, you're guaranteed to get something. And it's crystal clear about what you will get: "you will receive either 10 Lobi Crystals or a choice of either the Jem’Hadar Strike Ship or the Jem’Hadar Recon Ship". Grammar 101 here :)
Stonewall is looking for a beta fleet! Please have a rep from your fleet who can chat about joining an armada reach out to me via PM here, or via a tweet to (at)bfelczer. We're currently at level 203. Cheers, Brandon =/\=
Some players are always going to leave, and there are a lot of reasons for that, so there will always be a need to focus on reacquisition. It's the cycle of business, my friend :) I don't think that's the case at all. It's an important metric, but IMO I would say length of continuous time active is more important, and is…
They are only getting the reward if they come back, so therefore, they are supporting the reacquisition metric (e.g. how many lapsed players have returned in X month via X method -- totally made up, btw, since we don't know the metric they are going after) -- you're not able to support this metric, because you're active.…
Not sure I was saying you said it was false, I was just stating what I thought. But I disagree -- IMO, the wording is fine, and is just thanking them for their support (again, the output of the support is dependent on the metric being supported). It doesn't convey, to me anyways, that their support is worth more. IMO, they…
Also, "support" depends on the metric being used to see how the lapsed player contributed. If it's a KPI towards number of accounts, they supported in that. Or, maybe if they spent money in the past. "Veteran" is also a term that really only the company can decide on and who it applies to. The wording was intentional, but…
If you want to reaquire, you've got to use exciting language. I don't think it's false, assuming positive intent with the target audience and the criteria needed to be sent the email (we don't know). @seaofsorrows touched on something I meant to include -- reacquiring lapsed players is only a win for everyone, as more…
Reacquisition campaigns are a pretty common marketing tactic that relates to the strategy of retention. This happens across all types of products, from magazines offering you X issues for free to come back, reduced rate on cable bills for X months, etc. etc. etc. The opportunity cost for these players was X amount of time…
There are no bonuses, other than the existing set bonuses tied to the existing consoles that can go onto the dread (i.e. equipping 3,4, or all 5 doesn't have anything beyond the existing 2 piece set bonuses: 1. manhiem/ tip and 2. timeline analysis/ temporal shielding). At least, that was what was explained to me this…
There's not an overarching 4 or 5 piece set bonus, just a pair of existing 2 piece set bonuses (1. manhiem/ tip and 2. timeline analysis/ temporal shielding).
