I'm being forced to log in using safe mode every time with Tribble. No problem in Holodeck.

I've tried Tribble and every single time it just freezes trying to log on normaly. I have to go to options, click safe mode, and then the game will load without problems. Holodeck is working 100% fine for me.

    you are lucky i have to start Holodeck, Tribble and Redshirt all on Safe Mode just to play the game which is weird as my 2nd comp i can load it normal like

    Have fun loading Holodeck in safe mode when Season 11 hits then, because this problem has been around for a while now.

    I have a workaround that worked for me at least, if you go to the STO game folder and find the application button for STO and right click properties, then go to compatibility tab, and run this program in compatibility mode and select windows xp sp 2 or, and start the game. After this the game will go slow or almost freeze once you log in after selecting your charachter. but after 2-4 minutes(this will be everytime you logon) it will resume normally and everything is fine and you dont need safe mode anymore. Until i have a better work around this is all i can offer. It has worked for myself and 3-4 fleet mates that all experienced the same problems. Hope this helps until I have a better one

    It's an issue with STO and DX11. From my experience, you've got to let it sit for about 20 minutes, and it will load in, and continue to load in quickly from then on UNTIL a new branch goes out. Then you've got to wait again.

    Casual PvP player as a community manager. Wish some devs went and tried PvP.

    If you go into the in-game Display settings and change the "Video Card" setting to Direct3d 9, does that help? I was noticing crashes in DX 11 mode after upgrading hardware in my computer. Changed to Direct3d 9, and that cleaned it up a lot.
