The biggest thing that I miss is hourly's. This weekend even TRIBBLE with over a month before something rolls back around again was the beginning of the end for me. DR was the final nail in the coffin.
I'm assuming that you are basing this observation (and I may be wrong) on the "rank" of the person posting. However, if so what you are failing to realize is that there are MANY of us that have been in the game from the start that rarely post in the forums.
I don't think that they are ugly. Actually, the ugliest ship in the game (IMO) is the Avenger. I like the look of the new ships myself. I kind of get where people are coming from in that they are not "standard Star Trek", but to me that is a good thing. They have the same basic design, but I like how they are changing it…
Had you asked me this a year ago, I would have said yes. But over the past year (yes, even before DR) the answer is a resounding no. Too many nerfs, too much placating low "It's not fair" whiners. You know, the ones that don't know how to do a decent build, so everyone else has to be nerfed so that everyone is on an 'even…
It's your boat, build it how you want. I personally hate the "you're doing it wrong" mindset that many on here have. If YOU like the build, if it works for YOU, then you are NOT doing it wrong.
It's all in the eye of the beholder. Personally I think it's awesome looking. To me the Avenger is one ugly POS...but I still fly it because it's an amazing ship. I used to buy and choose ships based on how they looked, then I grew up.
Yeah, apparently we are not allowed to complain...we have to just take what Cryptic gives us and thank them for it like good little drones. With that being said, my only complaint (other than random nerfs) is how they almost ruined the game by taking away the hourly's and making them weekend events. At this point there are…
In other words; "I don't want to have to adjust my tactics, so 'it's not fair' and since I'm whining they better take the NERF bat to it like they have everything else in this game so that it's adjusted to the lowest common denominator" I remember when people didn't whine, they adjusted.
They ruined end game with this asinine new way they are doing this. Hourly events worked fine, but of course they have to dumb the game down (as they have in numerous other aspects of the game) to the lowest common denominator, because apparently some short bus kids were whining.
Granted, but it's squeaky dog toy hamburger. I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller, I wish I had a pretty girl (I would call her), I wish I had a rabbit, in a hat, with a bat and a 64 Impala.
"Special dilithium event???? What's so special about taking another step towards ruining the game by taking hourly events away and then running these asinine weekend events? So we get a bit more dilithium this weekend, but it's going to be over a month before we get it again (same with the mark event...etc). Between…
Last time I checked, Cryptic and 99.99% of every other corporation on the planet were not Democracy's (the worst form of government that there is...it's mob rule). With that being said, this weekend TRIBBLE is just asinine. Between this and Arc they are going to lose a HUGE chunk of their core players. It's not like there…
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but since they have "fixed" the gingerbread town rescue mission, I have yet to receive a single ginger bread pet (still three short from having all six).
