The reason why I ask is that they gave us the ability to have some new intelligence boffs, but without the new ships I can't try out any of there intel space powers.......so why did they give access to the new boffs then?

Why do that? Wouldn't it be easier if they just increased the credit and dill box to give you one million each instead of 10k and 20k.

I kinda figured I would have to drop the DHC since the Scryer only has a Lt. tact slot. I wish they had made the Lt. Cmd. a universal instead of a eng slot.

Perfect World is a Chinese company. I would think you could play normally with out needing a VPN, unless the Great Firewall affects something.

Except from my personnel experience the Lotus is not any more powerful(and a little less) then any other special weapons. Out of the few special weapons I have used the two that I notice that are the most powerful are the Destabilized Plasma Torpedo and the Destabilized Proton Beam.

Another idea I have been mulling over in my head(though I haven't figured out if I like the idea yet) is dedicating two weapon slots(one fore and aft) to torpedoes only. I think this would make players have to adapt and diversify a little in there loadouts and play styles. This might also help a little with people I see…

While your at it look at the two torpedo launchers, the aft launcher also has a torpedo magazine attached, the fore one does not.

I just logged in to Tribble and I was still having the same PS1 issue, so I fiddled with the settings again and nothing worked. Then I notice the reset botton on the bottom left of the display tab and wal-la everything is back to normal, just had to reset to default to getting it working again. Hopes this helps.

I would recommend the Tholian Recluse for engineers, it has two lt. commander and one universal commander, it also has four eng and sci console slots so you can really tank.

I like the Tron meets F-117 look of the new ship, when I saw it I thought it looked very Starfleet. Looks are subjective, I personally don't like the look of any quad nacelles ships and was the only detractor of new ship for me.

I can not tell you if it would work for ground combat, but I can defiantly tell you it will not work for space combat and the reason for that is the Navigational Deflector.
