I have been mulling over in my head about making this thread for a couple weeks now. I wanted to make a post suggesting constructive improvements of little things that would make the game more enjoyable/less frustrating.
1) Allow the replicator to be open at the same time with all Doff assignments.
When I am going to do Doff assignments and I am in the “Current Map” or “Personal” tabs I can open the replicator at the same time to buy any commodity that will be required for a assignment. But when I go to “Department Heads”, any of the cluster/nebula, or the Dyson Sphere to look for Doff assignments then go to the replicator to buy the commodities that I need for said assignments the second I open the replicator it automatically closes the Doff UI. This can be frustrating, I end up writing down what I need on a scratch pad then go to replicator to buy what I need. It would be nice if the the replicator could always be aloud to be on the same screen together instead of just when you are in the “Current Map” or “Personal” tabs.
2) Tweeks to the “Traits” UI.
I would like to see better organization of the “Traits” tab UI. First I would like to see a separation of ground and space traits. As it is they are all jumbled together which makes switching between a ground trait and a space trait loadout kinda tedious. To that end all my traits are space traits and I never switch even when I am doing a ground PVE or battlezone. What I would really like to see add to the "Traits" UI is a save button and drop down menu like you added to the ships loadout screen. The way I see it I would have three traits profiles saved, one that is all space traits, one that is all ground traits, and last a saved loadout that is a balance of both ground and space for story missions.
3) Some form of Fleet Marks exchange.
In the years that I have been playing Star Trek Online I have belonged to three different fleets and in each time I had a problem with getting fleet credits. In my first fleet they got to between tiers 2 & 3 and then the fleet died, it got to the point that I was the only one of the fleet ever logging on and playing, the problem was I wasn't high enough in rank in the fleet to start fleet projects, weeks went by and I could do nothing with the starbase or the fleet, so I left. The second fleet I joined was a much larger tier 5 fleet, and I was with them for years until the leader left and it became some weird TRIBBLE amalgam of many fleets. The problem with being in a large fleet is that projects get filled pretty quickly because so many are trying to fill projects at once, they tried to solve this by adding a special project the is just exchanging fleet marks but the problem with that was that it didn’t do a even exchange of fleet marks to fleet credits but only gave you half, because of this no one in the fleet wanted to load this special project which felt like a ripoff. Now I belong to my third fleet, it is a tier 4 fleet striving for tier 5 and I am still dealing with the problem of obtaining fleet credits. The reason why is that most of my fleet mates are on a different continent and therefore I am out of sync with when projects are done and get renewed. What I would like to see is at the fleet starbase someplace to regularly exchange (or maybe a Doff mission at the starbase) of 200-500 fleet mark to fleet credits a day.
4) Reduce the cooldown of Phaser/Disruptor/Plasma Lotus for the Chimera/Peghqu’/Deainos Heavy Destroyers.
As far as I can tell the Phaser/Disruptor/Plasma Lotus has the slowest cooldown(5 minutes) of any special weapon in the game and as far as I can tell I don’t know why. From what I see the average cool down for special weapons is 3 minutes and all I am asking for is that the cool down for the Lotus get reduced to norms.
That is just a couple of thoughts for tweeks for the game. I encourage that other add their ideas to this thread all I ask is that you be constructive, not just post something you would like to see changed in the game, but why, and then a reasonable solution to your segestion.
The replicater closeing the department heads window does my head in i reported this back in 2012 but they not changed n cant see them doing out about it now.
Another idea I have been mulling over in my head(though I haven't figured out if I like the idea yet) is dedicating two weapon slots(one fore and aft) to torpedoes only. I think this would make players have to adapt and diversify a little in there loadouts and play styles. This might also help a little with people I see scream about power creep all the times on the forums.
P.S. I say this as a player who two main toons fly a cannon boat and a torpedo T'varo

So it won't affect you much, if@all, unlike BFAW boats which lose 2 beam arrays. I'm selling some pitchforks&torches ahead of responses this will get.

Yes, because THAT is one weapon we would not want to be under powered.
It's not myfault ifyoufeel trolledbymyDisco ball...Sorry'boutit.

Except from my personnel experience the Lotus is not any more powerful(and a little less) then any other special weapons. Out of the few special weapons I have used the two that I notice that are the most powerful are the Destabilized Plasma Torpedo and the Destabilized Proton Beam.
