cant play

ya i cant play the game wont go past the loading page at all it did yesterday all my other online games work just fine so this is y i dont pay for this game it will be a wast of money that i dont have.

    I am having the same issue since the patch on thursday. It gets to the loading screen and freezes. I have to do a hard reboot of my PC to get it working again. The HELP is a joke, seems they want your money but do nothing to fix issues that they create. So much for doing the current event! If it continues past tuesday I will just delete the game and consider the 300 plus bucks I have spent on it wasted and move on.

    Have you tried force verifying. Also making sure on demand patching is turned off. Have you started the game in safe mode (this will reset graphics to default). Failing that a fresh install might be needed. Not ideal but may fix issues you have encountered. A fresh install would be last resort.

    ok im dune fighting this game im just going to delete it go thing i did not pay for it i dont have this problem whit my other online games they work just fine

    Starting the game in Safe Mode, via the Launcher's options fixes this.

    Anybody else having this issue. Suddenly on Sunday night 1/15/23, I cant get past the loading "CRYPTIC" screen. I usually jump on about every night and haven't had an issue until tonight. Got on fine yesterday and everyday this week. I have forced verified, used safe mode and turned off on-demand patching and the result is all the same. Been playing since 2013 and never experienced an issue like this. Holding off on reinstalling hoping its an issue elsewhere. In case it matters I am in upstate New York USA.

    Well after updating my NVIDIA I am able to get onto the game. Hopefully that was the issue.

    A possible solution that I personally have seen work,
    Turn down the bloom quality to 20 perceont.
    Options / Advanced / Bloom quality 20 percent.
    This solution has worked for me in the past and is worth a try if you can start the game in safe mode.
    Safe Mode for those who dont know is under options top right corner on your game launcher itself.

    well putting in safe mode did not work so now what looks like I will have to delete it after all permanently now

    The other idea i have is to grab the gameclient out of the star trek online directory in your computer and run it stand alone wiith admin privaleges. If your not sure what to do, I would think someone near you can help you. Then, set ARC to not autostart with windows. You will have to login to the gameclient each time but this again is another thing I had to do long ago to help the game run.
