I'm gunning for the Mirror Warship. If that wasn't available I'd probably either get the Valkis or Inquiry.

Keepping the Mirror Warship in mind, but i at this time i am more interested in the Atlas, D7 and Voth Rampart.
That said, it will probably be 6 months till all events have passed so perhaps by that time my choice will be different.

Edit: Vulcan Experimental Scout is also a strong contender as is the Keldon.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

doesn't matter. without the account unlock I'm not wasting my time. If I read the posts right only one toon can grind too? yeah, I'll do something else till the summer event

There's also the Lobi and T6 coupon options.

Ehhh...they haven't added a new lobi ship in years

The Kiwavi was added 8 months ago, the Bastille was added 18 months ago, and the Iktomi was added 23 months ago. It's certainly slower than other release methods but they ARE still adding Lobi ships at a rate of about 1-2 ships per year. Highly desired ships probably won't end up in there anymore though, I'm sure Cryptic has been kicking themselves for years for not better monetizing the Vengeance.

It's a hard choice for me when the time comes (on PlayStation). I really want a Ferengi ship for RP and fun, but 1,500 Lobi is a lot, and I'm a new-ish player that doesn't have all the neat things in the Lobi Store.

They mean that cryptic hasn't added a "New" lobi ship in years. They've added T6 versions of T5 lobi ships, but it has been ages since an actual original lobi ship was made. There's evidence to suggest a few of the promo ships were meant to be lobi ships originally.

Those aren't new ships, those are updated from T5 ships, they used to make a lobi counterpart for every lockbox ship...they haven't done that since the Hurq ships which launched in october 2018

The only lobi ships since they are just T6 versions of T5 ships, lobi loses even more value when you consider all cross faction bundles have been removed

My event campaign choice just got a whole lot more interesting, I bought four promo packs and pulled an infinity prize pack out of the third one (and immediatly got bombarded with whispers asking if I'm selling it 😡), so there's that Universe Class I've always wanted. I'll be putting this prize pack in my bank for now until the 32c Lockbox comes out cause I want to use those weapons and uniforms on the character I'm gonna make for the Universe.

Question though, is there any way to prevent the game from broadcasting my luck to everyone who's logged in? It's VERY annoying to suddenly have a bunch of random people whispering me with offers to buy it (and one actually offered 950 million EC, if I WAS going to sell I wouldn't be putting it up for 2/3 the going rate).

That's a Lobi store ship so if you take the Lobi you can get it, but you'd probably be better off buying it from the exchange and using the event campaign to get something that's more difficult to obtain.

My main choices are between the Mirror Crossfield and the Temporal Connie, though I do find myself quite tempted by the Mirror Warship, Section 31 Battlecruiser and the Inquiry.

IF I'm able to get the big Legendary bundle in the meantime, I might drop the M-Crossfield and T-Connie options and go for one of the others.

So for me now, the choice is between the Miracle Worker Flight Deck Carrier. OR the Kelvin Heavy Destroyer (Einstein Class) which has a design that i really love.

I hope they fix the target box on that thing before there is one in every TFO preventing teammates from targeting anything.

I'd say get the carrier, the Einstein would be cheaper to obtain later on.

Initially, I was leaning towards the Enterprise J. Then I flip flopped to the JHSS. Now with the mudds market news, I've flipped back to the Enterprise J.

So, am I the only one leaning toward the two T6 coupons? No matter how hard I try to convince myself otherwise, I just can't justify a single-character ship...

The majority of the people on this forum are vets who have been here for a long time. As a result, most of the community here has the C-Store ships they want/need so the 2 T6 coupons are not an appealing option. The nice thing about this reward is that it has a wide variety to appeal to everyone from the newest player to the longest tenured veteran alike.

For me, the 2 T6 coupons is an easy pass.. but just because it's not right for me doesn't mean it's not a good pick for someone else. My choice right now is between the Lobi or the Inquiry Battlecruiser.. I'll likely grab the Inquiry because there is literally no other way for me to get it. I don't have any trade channel access and even if I did, it's a ship that's seldom picked for resale. This kind of looks like the only chance I'll ever have to get it, and it's a ship I like that I don't have.

Well we've talked about this before, so you already know I'm getting the 2 Z store ships. But jumping off the above, this forum definitely skews one way, towards vets, and a few have already indicated they've got all they need. Chatter on Twitter and in game chat channels show different trends. Lots of people will get the 2 Coupons. Plenty will get Lobi, and a few of those might just get gear and not ships. And yes, others are intrigued by an open choice of rare single character ship.

I'm about as Vet as you can get without being pre-open-beta... I jumped into the game just in time to enjoy the Tribble benefits to Legacy of Romulus...

My hang-up is more the single-character nature of every possible ship from either the Lobi store or the Lockbox ships...

If I chose the two T6 coupons, I would have to wait for ships to spend them on, as I already own 97% of the c-store... But at least they would be account unlocked... If I choose the Infinity or Lobi options, it might sit in my account bank for ages as I couldn't decide which ship to choose, for fear of making a choice I might regret.

Please know that I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm wondering if airing my conundrum might lead to a resolution. Thanks to @seaofsorrows and @eladonwarps#6040 for your comments...

Yeah, since Lobi Crystals are bound to account, the Lobi reward can benefit your entire account. That’s a big part of why I am considering it over a promo ship. I’ll likely change my mind a few dozen more times before the day comes that I have enough event progress to have to choose.

The thing to remember is, there is no ‘bad’ option, it’s just what is best for you personally.

    I'm very conflicted myself.

I realize the T6 tokens probably aren't viewed as the most ideal use of this reward, but the account-wide nature of them is very appealing over the other options. There's also a few T6 traits I'd like to get my hands on, such as Spore-Infused Anomalies.

OTOH, there's also a lot I could do with the Lobi, from ships/traits/consoles to gear, and if I hold onto it until another 50% sale comes around, that could be stretched to go quite a long way. But I suspect I'd have to hold onto the Lobi quite a while in that case, which means I'd get no reward in the short term.

The promo choices actually seem to be the least attractive option for me. I'd like to get my hands on the Tzen-tar, the smuggler escort, the annorax, and the mirror crossfield... but there are much more crucial choice available to me for my builds with the T6 coupons and Lobi options. And this choice would be a single reward, versus the two the T6 could provide, and the multiple the Lobi could provide during a sale.

I'm still not sure what I want to do.

For what it's worth; The T6 coupons are a temptation for me at this point. My shopping list for C-Store ships has exploded to almost a dozen long for various traits and consoles after a recent fit of buildcrafting exploration. Being able to pick up two of those for free would certainly be nice.

With that said, I can pick up C-Store ships at my leisure. I honestly cannot think of another scenario where I'd be willing to pick up a Son'a Collector. It's a very fascinating ship, mechanically, and somewhat visually. However, it's not a popular ship and thus it's stupidly expensive/rare to acquire.. and the ingame ship market is kind of swirling the toilet right now as it is.

Would I sound strange if I said I’ll take the Lobi and get a Vengeance? Most of the ships I’ve seen, outside of the Universe, Crossfield, or Valkis, don’t really appeal to me. The first two I can use with my Feds and the Valkis I can drop on either my KDF 2nd main, aligned Reman Delta recruit, or my KDF recruit. But that Vengeance has called out to me since I saw it on screen. This gonna be a tough one!

Unless they release the Legendary miracle worker assault cruiser Enterprise E for about 30 bucks or less, they will not see a dime from me. Sad is sad.

It's down to a list of Promo and more expensive Lockbox ships for me.
I've been playing long enough that and have enough ships already that the only reason I even spent the last two previous Event C-Store tokens is for cosmetics. On top of that, over the course of the year I could easily grind out more than two C-Store ships anyway and not completely adverse to opening my wallet if a new C-Store ship comes along that I really want (which these tokens won't likely work for anyway). So, no reason for C-Store tokens for me, though I see the value for newer players.

I still have Lobi crystals left from last years Event, even though I was excited at the time for it. The last 50% Lobi sale I bought one console, so pass on the Lobi for now at least.

The Promo ships and the more expensive Lockbox ships I feel a need for a list, as between Mudd's, Legendaries, and the occasional Lobi pack (like Tzen-tar or Recon Jem) or more of my wants might be met before the event ends.

    My List:
D7 - any of the three, depends on if and what gets in the Legendary packs - love the looks
Sheshar - Cylon Basestar, has never been that great mechanically, but looks cool
Mirror Warship Constitution - Iconic look with a meta trait, shot up the Infinity Lockbox ship prices after its release
Section 31 Command Heavy Battlecruiser (Nimrod class) - just like the look
Inquiry Battlecruiser - An upgunned Arbiter, nice
Vaadwaur Miracle Worker Juggernaut - One of the performance kings, meta trait. Unsure on this, as I won't necessarily have all the other stuff that makes the highend players run well.
Styx Terran Dreadnought Cruiser - like the looks
    Atlas- for Fed DPRM
Jem'Hadar Light Battlecruiser like the looks, interesting dual commander seating.
