Any word yet on what may be the 11th Anniversary Ship? I know the official STO website is at the bottom of rung of the Ladder of Info, so I just wanted to know if there's been any clues on reddit, Twitter, etc.?
We used to (kind of) get a bit of a heads up with the old Roadmaps, but since they stopped that even before the pandemic lockdowns, it's hard to guess what we might get.
The way ships are these days, it's hard to be excited for modern ships (I did like some of the ships from Lower Decks, one of which is probably the reason we (finally) got the T6 Luna/Titan). I've a funny feeling that we'll get ships based on Voyager-J and U.S.S. Nog later on (esp. when they were just floating around at least until the last episode of this season/series of Disco).
I was impressed with Cryptic's Khitomer-class Alliance Battlecruiser. I even used 1 of my X-Upgrades on 1. Cryptic called the whole thing the: Allied Cooperative Starship Development Board (ACSDB), a mouthful. I hope Cryptic continues that trend. If Cryptic does maybe an escort version this time or a possible science vessel version, but seems to me many science vessels have been released lately.
Hopefully a warship. Warships are basically escorts that aren't fundamentally gimped by low hull and missing a weapon. (The Defiant warship vs Fleet Escort is a great illustration of how broken escorts are and how warships fixes their problems)

The problem with comparing the Legendary to the standard is the fact that the standard doesn't have a specialist mechanic while the Legendary does. In this case Pilot Mechanic. Not only that, as you pointed out, they're two different classifications. Apples to Oranges so to speak. Escorts aren't broken at all. They fly fast, and hit hard. That is what they're supposed to do. Warships are basically hybrids of Cruisers and Escorts.
Still I'm sure no matter what ship it is, I'm sure many will greatly like what's coming... In the month & weeks ahead, we'll likely even get a few teasers of what's coming.

Yeah, as much as I love my B'rel, I do prefer the Chargh for these reasons
I think it will be a Tier 6 version of the HMS Bounty with Spore drive, synthoid crew and Janeway's future transphasic torpedoes.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

No, PLEASE! Transphasic torpedoes are utterly worthless.
We can safely say that the Janeway Transphasics can OHKO everything. ROF is probably lower than Trico to compensate though.

A science scout bird of prey-type alliance ship that looks like a cross between a warbird escort and a BoP raider. Just brainstorming ideas of something unique. It would be similar to the temporal raider except it would have raider flanking, battle cloak, but 3/3 weapons and 5 sci console with sci ship masteries, cmd sci, 2nd deflector, subsystem targeting, sensor analysis...and a singularity core because why not!
The alliance battlecruiser is just so well done I would welcome more along those lines.
Devs: Provide the option to Turn OFF full screen flashes from enemy ship explosions

Agreed. The only transphasics worth a darn are the mines, and that's only because it's easy to get them to completely ignore shields thus bypassing the shield-kinetic penalty altogether. Unless it's a new 'specialty' transphasic torpedo with the same perks as mines. That could be interesting.
(or they make all Transphasic torpedoes have the same base shield-ignore bonuses as mines)
Can you please explain how to make the mines bypass shields entirely?

IIRC, Projectile R&D Trait, Lorca console, Shield Pen skill, coupled with mines' innate shield bypass amount == all targets have no shields against your mines. Note that this does not apply to transphasic cluster torp mines, as those have a different shield bypass amount.
Thank you very much! Do you think the Transphasic bonus from the Breen set, (deflector, engines, shield), is worth tolerating the inherent gimpiness of the rest of its bonuses? I suppose the answer is that it depends on the rest of your build, and what else you're trying to do.

Not sure what you mean by "Projectile R&D Trait", but in the Personal Space Traits category, there's one called "Kinetic Precision" that gives +10% Shield penetration for all kinetic weapons
Lorca Console is hard to calculate, it says "+135 Starship Shield Penetration".
The Nukara rep trait is for directed energy weps only; not kinetic weapons.
Still, thanks for the answers. This is interesting food for thought

Or maybe we won't get a ship at all. It's a new decade for STO, maybe they'll come up with a new tradition. Like new playable species or uniforms, the release of a mini-faction or the addition of a new social zone or planetary exploration zone or something.
I mean, we've got so many new ships and they're released year-round, through the C-store, through other events, through boxes. I'd be fine with getting some other unique stuff or something that isn't given all that much attention.

So you basically want another T'Pau?
T'Pau does not have any cloak, no singularity core, is a Disco Vulcan design, so no, I don't want another T'Pau. Endless ships share the same class without being fully identical, so another science scout ship but with some of the styling and tech of romulans and klingons is what I think would be pretty cool.

Personally, I'm hoping for another Alliance ship, ideally with some Romulan design features.
Considering the Alliance was (sort of) featured in the recent story arc, this would be a good time for another ship from them. It'd be interesting to see something along the line of a Romulan Bird of Prey (TOS or Enterprise version) and Klingon Bird-of-Prey to distinguish itself from the earlier Alliance Battlecruiser.
I fly a science (literally 3/4 of its slots are science spam) kor bop and if it had a sec def it'd be my ultimate ship ...that said if you are talking an ebc-less one...isn't that the Drannur boomerang?
Since they finally seem to be paying attention to science ships and destroyers why not do an Alliance science spearhead that you don't have to gamble for? It would be especially nice if the ship combined Romulan and Dominion aspects to show what they were doing while the Federation and Klingons were leading the Khitomer battlecruiser program.
If I were thinking of Romulan+Dominion team-up Alliance ship, I pictured a cross between T'Liss and Jem'Hadar (bug) Escort. Despite Escorts not being my preferred ship to fly at all, I think it fits thematically as a hybrid of those factions and a contrast to the Khitomer Battlecruiser. Then the question becomes: Singularity or Antimatter?
Call me "El," she/her only. I love my wife and I don't care who knows it!

Right, no cloak of any kind, no singularity core, no looks of a warbird or klingon BoP. There's endless redundant ships of the same class, so thought up something a bit more unique as a suggestion.
