-a new tab in the ship replicator, currently we have: replicate, recycle, retrieve, we should have also a "salvage" tab; it is really a pain in tha TRIBBLE to salvage 1 by 1, 10 or more items.
-Hud windows should keep always the same place even when we switch from a ship to an other.
-Gather intel is too slow, most of the foes are already dead, before the activation of gather intel.
-the need to write "delete" to discard queue r&d material reward package should be remove. It is really boring.
-less r&d stuff; we have too much input of these cr@p: admiralty, endeavour, tfos
I would like to have the option to beam from Sector Space to the Planet or Starbase, no in between step. If you can beam into Earth Space-dock from anywhere you should be able to beam from Sector Space to the Planet or From the Planet to Sector Space...
A shuttle revamp would be nice. With "pain point" removal baked in. Give us an extra tab next to skills and traits called "shuttle loadout" or whatever you want to call it. On that screen, we could have the ability to set up a separate setup for when we're in our shuttles when it comes to traits and specializations. Even if they are limited in their number of slots. Like say 5 space traits instead of 9 and 1 specialization instead of 2. I'd accept this as a trade off.
Add another tab on the duty officer page so we can set up our active shuttle doffs. Say 3 active doffs instead of 6 as a trade off. With these changes, I wouldn't need to go in and swap out everything just to fly my shuttle effectively. On top of all this, add more shuttle content so that shuttles actually matter. The shuttle weekend fleet alert mission is one of my favorite content pieces. Especially when all 20 players equip the Romulan Hyper-Plasma Torps.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
Now, if they all also equipped two bays of Tactical Flyers, it would be glorious.

Would like to see the need to get to t6 for the alternate weapons go away once one character hits tier 6. It's a loooooooooooooong wait till t6 to get a different version of a weapon that you got back at t2
- Lack of love for ships like the Luna, Olympic, Vo'quv, and Advanced Escorts (Hestia took the place of the Prometheus for unloved Advanced Escort), in terms of ship models or lack of T5R/T6s.
- Legendary Odyssey not having two small craft level hangar bays (it's HUGE and has a huge shuttlebay) and no second specialized bridge seat (despite every other legendary ship getting dual-spec), and Legendary Sovereign not having one small craft hangar, despite everything the Legendary Intrepid got (which is awesome for the Intrepid).
- No T6s for the original Star Cruiser, Deep Space Science Vessel, Reconnaissance Science Vessel, Patrol Escort, Klingon Carrier (Vo'quv), Cruiser (at least in terms of 25th century modern, when it DOES have awesome T6 old models), Escort, Science Vessel, and Research Science Vessel.
I love what pain points they have been fixing lately, which is wonderful and awesome!
Not much I don't like yet, but I will say what I would like to see. mission rewards concerning set gear that levels with you that once equipped on your character, goes into a type of reclaim collection that I can get for alts. its one thing to do the same mission 3-5 times to get the required gear set, but doing it for EVERY character gets a bit repetitive.

Remove: the visual effect for other players from the Beacon of Kahless
Allow: carrying over tray settings/positionings when changing ships, particularly for the "generic" stuff like Brace for Impact and maybe also captain skills.
Oh yes, I'll go along with that. It is quite tedious to mess with each time I set up a new ship, as I generally have all my captain powers set to the same row, and positions.

Yes. Or at least make them all account instead of character bound, to help reduce the grind for all these sets, as well as get the items to the characters that will actually use them.
Resident TOS, G.I. Joe, Transformers and hair metal fangirl.
Another one that really bugs me is the removal of a bunch of good mission arcs. There's the second half of the Klingon War episode arc on the Fed side (B'vat is now introduced without the leadup for his "trap" in the Briar Patch due to the orion double agent players used to rescue in the old arc, deal with his doomsday machine, then players get whisked off to deal with Romulan affairs - as well as everything else - with no followup like used to exist), as well as all the old featured episode series aside from Cloaked Intentions (Spectres, The 2800, Cold War), and the removal of the Nimbus arc from everyone except the Romulans. I'd dearly love to see these missions put back in the story arc lists, especially since existing story elements don't make sense now since they depended on plot from some of these series. (For example, the KDF prologue still has buildup references to Nimbus with "the missing weapons going to Nimbus" then BAM, suddenly that's dropped in favor of Cloaked Intentions. The game's progressing story also depended on The 2800's arc at one point and intoduced the Enterprise F, and Delta Recruits depended on the Cold War arc for their story arc's ending.)
There's also how the game *keeps ripping traits off all my characters all the time*. I REALLY wish it wouldn't. I have to make notes now to keep track of which traits each character has active so I can know each one to set back when the game inevitably rips them off again, due to this.

The only positive to this is that every now and then I'll have gathered up a bunch of traits I hadn't realized and am able to update it when my traits are gone from a weird publish.

Mhm. Although it's still annoying when everything gets ripped off.
Im sure these two have been said here already, but my top 2...
There are a lot of clicks involved in adding resources to all of the rep dailies, and collecting the finished projects as well. Would love it if there were a global "collect all" button that would claim all of the completed projects. Would also love it if there was a "start all dailies" button that would start all available daily projects.... since max level reps lose their daily projects already, we wouldent need to worry about accidentally triggering these and wasting resources
Doff missions auto fill in the doffs that are appropriately suited for whatever mission you happen to be sending them on, and you are freely able to refine the automatic selections after. The admiralty does not do this. Would love it if it did. I get that the mission types are a little different, and you would not always want to send 2 ships on a specific mission. I sometimes just sent a shuttle on mission to clear it out of the way. So maybe including an "auto assign" button somewhere on the individual mission information screen would be good?
OH, and for bonus points - a junk dealer would be SOOOOOOO welcome. An NPC who would pay you in scrap when you sold unwanted equipment to them. Would save even more clicking!
Dil account bank storage would be a bonus too, just so I can see the total dil I have across all characters and a place to add it all up. secondly I would love if the dil store had a T5-U consumable that I mentioned in another thread, available for Any tier ship in the store, for roughly 2m Dil.

The need to manually slot Traits. Adding Traits to the loadouts would be my Nr. 1 QoL improvement. Remember that (short) period when doffs weren't part of loadouts either? They quickly changed that. Now it's the Traits' turn (or rather, it's long overdue).
Another thing I would like to see is a version of a Solo Fleet that me and my alts can join Account wide. Basically same features fleets have to offer that can be worked on as a Solo player, Considering most content is solo play and I rather just Queue to group with people. But having the Option to do this would be great.

I suspect that might never come to pass as it would cause a lot of people to not want to join fleets if they were able to just solo fleet processes.

I pick a uniform for my toon and BOFF to wear at the beginning. I hate having to customize each BOFF separately. I wish there was a “just like” button or a way to set a default for all new BOFFs to wear. They are a crew and should have the same uniform or they trigger my OCD.
This is why potatohead and the other BOFFs I cannot change uniforms on get kicked out the airlock.
I also hate the Transporter changing graphics on features and uniforms when you beam out.
To be fair, potatohead and a few of the others are exchange officers, not members of Starfleet, and like Riker did in the episode where he went to a Klingon ship, exchange officers wear the uniform of their own service, not Starfleet's uniform.
C-store faction specific ships allowing for account wide traits (not JUST rom ships). I currently really can't do much with my feds vs the my KDF toons since most of my ships, and thereby the traits purchased, just work on my KDF toons. I really don't want to buy ships a second time just for a trait or two.

You can already do this. While you do need five players (or at least characters on separate accounts) to create a fleet, there is nothing preventing four of them from leaving or being kicked out. And you can send offline invites, including to your own other characters (as long as they are not of the opposite allegiance). So you can indeed create a solo fleet, you just might need help on the day of creation.
That is very interesting I did not know you could send offline invites very cool indeed!

To the OP's original title of the post "Are forum mods that end discussions too early an option?"
This thread is about pain points in Star Trek Online not personal grievances against the forum mods. Most of those threads are closed because of the negative attitude of the poster, flaming, ranting, vague thread names, etc. Also, please read the forum rules about posting which talks about these infractions as well as others. This is in the section called Community Rules and Policies under the Galactic News Network section. Thanks.
There have been very very few Threads closed since February 20th, I don't know what you are talking about.

an something already put in the thread: the possibility of having, the separation of ground and space specialization.
