We all knew this day would come the next doomsday pay wall before the c-store models come into play is the playable borg cubes. I'll be honest I haven't bothered to buy a 12k zen pack of gorn ships for my gorn I'm not going to even be bothered to spend a billion EC to buy one alt a set of ships only that one alt would use so I most likely will never bother getting this thing because a month from now T7 ships will probably be out.

Honestly I was all jazzed up about the STD7 until I (for the first time) clearly saw what the nacelles look like. I'll have to see it in game before I make my final decision. I'm also torn about getting the new Constitution because it really doesn't fit my play style though it looks really good. I guess we'll wait and see.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

I was looking forward to this ship but Miracle Worker seating gets a great big "NO THANKS!!" from me. If it was intel I'd be looking for some way to ensure that I get one.

Why hate on Miracle worker? Its one of, if not the most powerful spec for damage and healing

@westx211 When it came out I looked over all the abilities and they all seemed boring so I haven't looked at them since. I haven't been following the meta, but I tried out all the other ones as they were released and only Intel and Pilot ever excited me, Command and Temporal initially sounded interesting but both were disappointing when I actually got my hands on them, so I wrote MW off as a dud as soon as the abilities were revealed (the hideous MW Cruisers probably didn't help that first impression either). It may be powerful as you say it is, but it's going to be hard for me to shake that first impression and since the only C-Store MW ships are ugly as sin I have no incentive to try it out anyway, the Gagarin is slightly better looking than the MW cruisers but still ugly imho.

LTSer for over 8 years, and I’ve never flown a Constitution... Looks like it’s gonna stay that way...

Nice ship though... mostly true to the original with some modern aesthetics... And I LOVED the PLOT Armor Trait... Clever, very clever...

The only T6 Constitution that's not a R&D Promo is from the Kelvin Timeline Lockbox. I have two of them, each for two of my TOS characters. It's too bad the better looking ones are the R&D types.

Unlike normal fighter pets, each fighter launched is actually a squadron of six Tactical Flyers. As each hangar bay can deploy six squadrons, each hangar bay is ultimately responsible for up to 36 Tactical Flyers.

So 2 hangers is 72 drones..WHAT THE @#$! were you guys thinking?! "UNLIKE NORMAL FIGHTER PETS"...
    Tactical Flyers
    Availability: EC Store
    Weapons:
6x Micro Phaser Beam Arrays (Fore)
3x Micro Omni-Directional Phaser Beam Arrays (Aft)
    Abilities:
    Emergency Power to Weapons I

Does this mean each flyer has its own weapons and that means each time these are launched, the opposition has to deal with 72 drones individually?! Does this mean if I hit one of these drones will it take out the full squadron or are each considered individual? Cause the post specifically states something like this in the quoted text..If we have to deal with them individually then FAW while engaging this kind of ship means spamming FAW and spread just to get to the main ship..

I guessed as much this would lean towards a ENG type ship..The seating is nice and flexible..

The new phasers look nice especially with the buff scaling in tandem with the number equipped..Sad its available in the store after unlocking the ship only..

WHATS THE BASE HULL CAP OF THIS SHIP?!

Being an ENGG toon primarily, this would have been a treat to get and no way in hell am I gonna pay anything above 200M ec for a ship..Till that time, I'l stick with my cannon/prime timeline Intel Sov build armed with phasers..Or if they decide to drop a similar type (DISCOprise) of Norway Class Ship..

Tbh seeing this as R&D really sickens me as a lifetime player. Just as a player it should anger a lot of people this feels very greedy to me to put it in pack. Honestly it should of been put to the C-Store. I hope some day ships like these will become a C-store item and not R&D or lockbox of any sort for that matter.

Totally agree. They could put all lockbox / R & D box ships in the c-store, and charge the appropriate zen for them. If they did I would buy them, but I will not spend my hard earned money on gambling to get a new ship. These methods should be outlawed imo....

That is optimistically the best we'd ever get. These lockboxes will never go away or be made entirely illegal. They already have guaranteed prizes, which covers a lot of legalities afaik.
The only thing that might actually change is the payout odds being reported.
    And that's sad.

As far as 99.9% of players are concerned, CBS is still right, and there is no T6 Constitution. I'm really tempted to just fly the T1 Connie out of frustration.

Uhm....those the real stats? MW Ship (extra console + great crew abilities), 5/3 layout, 2 hangars and fantastic BO options. That is seriously over the top.

    It's not all that.

There are plenty of 5/3 Miracle Worker ships already in the game. The 2 Hangars are really nice, puts it about on par with the Tzenkethi Tzen-tar only without the ability to use cannons.

Don't get me wrong.. it's a good ship.. it's a nice ship, but it's not 'over the top.' Between the two, I would take the Tzen-tar any day.

The Tzen is 5/2 . That's why I'm a bit surprised as the Tzen already is really powerful. DHC's are a bit of a 20 second DPS run meta setup so I don't pay too much attention to them. <personal opinion>They play like TRIBBLE everywhere else</personal opinion>. Since hangars do little for that specific task the ship isn't the best there is for it, agreed. I was more speaking in a general sense compared to other ships in regular gameplay. Of course there is no other content where you would need any other ship then whatever you can get for free events but that is an entirely different story. So yes it does not matter how powerful that ship is at all I just wondered about the once again extremely strong setup on a ship that will cost someone 200-300 bucks to get ;)

Well they had their chance to make everyone happier, even if they charged more than the 3k zen but it was still in C-store tag and they managed to make everyone unhappy(not everyone but 90% of playerbase for sure). Way too good job to make a great ships introduction backfire.

I loved the D7 but definitely wont get it now. I may end up getting the T5(U) k''t'nga instead and fly it for fun. Also I am stopping all zen purchases for at least some months since they done that.

I am almost never so critical of them but this time Cryptic earned it

The Shitstorm they get on twitter for the announcement of this ship is a good promo for pw and shows the 90%...to 10% perfectly

    sad they made this decision

I agree. In all the years I have been a player (almost from the very beginning) not once have they done anything that made me complain. I have always shown the devs respect (as I appreciate the hard work they do) and that respect has always been given back. These two ships have been by far the most requested ships for as long as I can think back and would make a killing from them in the C-Store even by selling them at a higher price than the usual 3000. On this though they are putting profit over player loyalty and it is just plan and simple greed. There is a lot of anger on social media regarding this with players saying they are quitting, not gonna buy anything anymore etc etc etc. But I won't be one of them. I have too much respect for the devs and the hard work they do. I just feel let down as a loyal player (which there are countless) that they now seem to be putting monetary greed over their loyal players. Maybe before tomorrow they will rethink and change their stance on this but I don't think they will tbh. I have mean no ill will in saying this but I hope this backfires on them. I feel for Kael and the mods because they are the ones having to take the flack from the players on something they had no decision in. Guys along with the devs I have every respect for too.

There's only one other 5/3 MW ship (or two if you count the faction versions as different). The Tzen-Tar is 5/2 and the Maquis Raider is 5/1. The Tzen-tar certainly has a better tactical layout, being able to field 6 tactical consoles.

The Tzen-Tar was definitely over the top at the time it was released, being the first ship capable of 6 tac consoles, having the first universally equippable frigate pets, and having a bugged starship trait that let you rapid fire radiation charges at your enemy... but they fixed the trait, have made pretty much all hangar pets (frigates included) universal since, including those from C-Store ships, and there are more offensive-focused ships capable of the 6 tac consoles now.

The discovery enterprise does represent some level of power creep, though, not sacrificing a weapon slot from its battlecruiser layout for the extra hangar. Turns faster than the Tzen-Tar, and has a higher total defensive modifier with superior (hull) focus. It's a cruiser, though, so all of that (minus the turn rate) is to be expected.

The new hangar pets and the advanced phasers we can't really judge until tomorrow.

Yet more worthless tat being brought into the game.

I'll let others decide whether I'm referring to the ships or the R&D mats or both.

Coming right off the back of not one but two flash sales, which by some "miracle" were a full 24 hour not the usual 12 hour BS.

The problem is Zen can be farmed freely. Grant it with time. Lots of time and toons. While I dont agree with this and feel they could easily charge a higher cash fee for these exclusive ships, people would pay, however, putting it behind random chance is more profitable to them. Bottom line is what matters to them. It is sleezy and I hope it gets regulated or changed to make the odds more acceptable. you could likely hit a jackpot in Vegas easier as there are actual laws as to how hard they can press the odds with machines. Gaming commission and federal regulations.

Ah well then I totally agree. Compared to an average T6 ship.. yes, this thing is a total powerhouse.

The only point I was trying to make was that neither of these ships are going to be considered massively over powered. They are certainly more powerful then the average ship though, no doubts there.

So, you have played 'from the beginning' and this is the first time that this practice has angered you? This practice has been in the game from day one.. heck this isn't even the first time they released a T6 Constitution in a R&D Box. As soon as this ship was announced as coming, everyone knew it was going to be an R&D Box, there was never even any doubt.

Yes, there were a few naive and silly people saying 'they might go C-Store,' but no one ever took any of those posts seriously. How is it that it's now suddenly so aggravating for you? I don't understand.

No one with any grip on reality ever thought for a second that these ships would be C-Store. This was obvious from day one.

Ah yes, the Juggernaut is also 5/3 MW, you're right. The Jem'Hadar Vanguard Warship is not a MW ship, though - having a MW hybrid seat isn't what makes a ship a MW ship. MW ships have the inspiration mechanic, an extra 10 power bonus, the universal console slot, and the slipstream drive that goes for days..

No... Don't feel dumb at all. People have been asking for a T6 Connie for years.
Virtually, every other "Hero Ship" is available as a T6 offering in the Zen Store... However the Queen Mother of vessels continues to elude us... It seems that if it has had the misfortune to have had the name of "Enterprise" attached to it, it has been locked behind the infernal gates of RNGehenna.

This time around I, too, was also hoping that the dev's would throw us a bone and finally give us a Zen option to get our grubby hands on a T6 Connie... But, alas, it was apparently not meant to be.
