Pets are immune to core breaches, aren't they?

Last R&D box was "Mirror Crossfield Science Destroyer R&D Promo!"
are these two new ships meant to be in the [Special Requisition Choice Pack - Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack] when opening the R&D boxes? Because all that is in it is the "Discovery Flight Deck Cruiser Teir 6 Ship," no D7 or the enterprise miracle worker
That is another Choice Box that has the Enterprise or D7 depending on the Faction.

so it is another RnG chance along side the R&D, so you have a lower chance of getting either ship then... wow
While I've never won since they started putting brand new ships in the infinity promo, my understanding is that there is only one prize pack and if you win it you then get to select from all the available options.
If the gamblebox miraculously spits out a choicebox as its prize then the ship you get will relate to the faction of whoever is opening the choice box so fed will see fed ship and klink gets klink, romulans just get the short end of the stick now so not sure what they'd see if anything at all.
The chance of a chance bs is (so far) only limited to the cosmetic shields in the weapon boxes.
It doesn't spit out anything. If you have the Promotional Ship Reward Pack and view the contents there are a number of Ships in there, (some singular) like the Annorax, the Mirror Crossfield, etc.
Some are Selection Packs which contain, for example, the 23rd Century Ships (Constitution, T'liss, and D7 Temporal Ships). If you choose that Selection Pack that will award you (upon opening) one of those three Ships depending on the Faction of the Character opening that Pack. Before opening that specific Selection Pack it is not bound.
In the case with the new Ships, they are in a different Selection Pack of Miracle Worker Flight Deck Crusiers. Any Fed-aligned Character would get the 'Enterprise', any KDF-aligned Character would get the D7 upon opening the Selection Pack.
The Master Selection Pack that contains all the Promotional Ships is Character Bound. Any Ship or Selection Pack taken from the Master is a Box that is not bound. The Ship selected out of these Boxes will be bound to the Character opening that Box.

So, no Disco Enterprise Bridge interior as seen in the ST: D S2 finale (and none currently planned). Given the way this ship is being 'awarded' in game, that's really (IM0) another slap in the face to the playerbase.

TYhis pretty much right here makes me pretty much no longer interested in acquiring it. The Boff seating ain't that great; and hell know I think I know the REAL reason they made it so you can't use the exterior visuals on the Temporal or T0 Connies.

It gives you the ship based on the Faction alignment. Romulans and Jem'Hader aligned to the Federation get the 'Enterprise'. If they were KDF, then the D7.

The Connie should always stay as that, an old underpowered ship compared to modern ships. My T0 Connie does just that, looks awesome and is superb fun playing away in it. I don't need more than that.
I have quite a few T6 ships, and still find myself mostly playing older T5 ships, or mirror ships, because they are fun, and cheap, and with MKXV Stuff they are all effectively 30-40k ships, why do you need more! What content in STO requires more?
You can go as OP as you want, it makes literally no difference to completing ANY content.
In fact, if you want a challenge, I suggest playing through Missions in a T0 connie as a lvl 65, now that is fun
This is the real world, son. The free market dictates that these ships should be in a promo box. Therefore they are.
I'll admit I always snicker into my coffee or beer when I see a 'know it all' post like this.
Son...you're trying to explain the 'real world' to others that clearly get it more than you, and via an explanation that someone gave to you. People that actually have spine and some sense make free market trends happen in a good way. Everyone else is just talking TRIBBLE.
Sad to see how many here rolled up into a ball and meekly accepted this. I for one won't box gamble over something as big and major as a starship. If more of you actually grew a spine and took a stand, these would appear in the zen market too...as they should.
Does anyone know if the Cross-faction bundles to get the MWFDC Gear (not the ship, just the gear) is for a limited time or if it's a permanent addition to the Lobi store?

Nope. Nothing 'should' happen at all. Ships are sold in particular ways based on the amount that the market will bear. Player driven demand means that the only monetarily justifiable way to release these ships is via a promotion pack. Anything else that anyone says about the c-store is just naivety and wishful thinking.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

This is a disappointing move, but unsurprising to be honest. The gamblebox is part and parcel of the game, after all.
