That's why I asked, what was the actual result, because late last week they pulled back on addressing Weekend Event stuff until later in the Summer. They also mentioned Kobayashi Maru which WAS never a 14-Day Event, only Weekend. Sompek they included as well, but that had a 14-Day Event with different 'Tokens' in addition to its normal Weekend Event runs.
I still have all the weekend tokens. Yes I have a lot of them. So, they're changing one universal weekend token to another universal weekend token because of spite?
I had a character with a bunch of holograms but haven't been to the bank to check. Curious about that too, but eh no biggie. The weekend token thing is kind of a biggie to me.

Did they get rid of the Zefram Cochran Memorial Statues? They shouldn't have as that was not a 14-Day Event per their Announcement with the usual un-proofread text.
Looks like Mirror Invasion project completion isn't working properly. Already came across 6 projects across 6 of my characters that haven't finished, and I'm still not done cycling through my pylons.
Add the Breach completion to the list of not working as well.
All my breach slotted projects autocompleted. All Mirror and CC projects completed too. A lone first contact event project didn't complete.
And something will almost certainly be done with the FTFO tokens as well, if people boasting about their stockpiles and their plans to farm CCA to skip future events are anything to go by. While I don't expect people will take my advice to turn in your spare FTFO tokens while you have the chance, I will say I told you so when they get made useless and/or deleted.
I plan to both slot the current project AND hoard my tokens on 10 characters in case this happens again. That way, my bases are covered. I'll complete the project immediately on one character.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
To show you what a scr*wed up rushed implementation this was, they deleted the Crystal Shards but made availible the Bonus Event Project for adding the TFO Commendation AND the Bonus Event Project to add a Shard (but they deleted the Shards already).
Here's another lack of consistency. The Main Project's Marks Choice Box allows you to select Discovery Marks, the Bonus Project Marks Choice Box and the Featured TFO itself does not.
The deletion of the 'Tokens' did NOT put an entry into Chat. One could reasonably expect that if they are deleting something from your Inventory or Bank that they would inform you of what they did.
And as was pointed out before, they deleted the Zefram Cochran Memorial Hologram Statues, which were never part of a 14-Day Event and that they sold in the C-Store just two months previous.

If you wanna go by only the 2000/day mission then its bad, 2000 dil into 21 is 42000 dil..
2000 dil into 7 remaining days is 14000 dil..
SO 50000 (14 day completion)+14000 (Remaining 7 days)=64000 dil for the full 21 days which is 3047 dil per token..A difference of 524 dil (3571-3047), 15% difference, so not much..So doing the event then the daily is adequate and ONLY 15% less, not a big loss over a 21 day span..
Just my 2 cents..
Sure...if you only play 1 toon. If you did it across multiple toons, every other toon is getting the 42000 dil--assumiung you did the project day 1 with stockpiled/zen-purchased tokens. And I know of very, very few (if any) people who went to the extraordinary length of slotting the main project on every toon and THEN going back and completing them--just so they could claim the 50k dil payout multiple times.
Though to be honest, everyone who did that on their alts and had incomplete projects at patch-time...are in for a huge windfall.
They have found a bug and it will be fixed to autocomplete the remaining projects with next week's patch.

My LTS account should have had the same amount of the spare generic TFO tokens as my F2P (ie NOT the old ones that have been axed) but while the f2p had a 10 token kickstart the LTS had nothing. Both were on 1550 for the t6 progress at the start on thursday so its not a case of missed days.

The final mark box for the 14 day completion does, and this includes all previous runs, if you saved them.
NOT FUNNY!!! I had 2 slotted projects and got the prizes but 0 dilithium..What gives??
the 1st contact day's one doesn't give dil as far as I know (I am not sure). though the gun for the last one for example would be an account unlock, it's frequently slotted on other chars for more specific fun/"vanity" unlocks, if a char doesn't have those yet... I don't know if there are other such examples

One was the FTFO where we got the terran armor and the second was the FTFO where we got the beacon..
You can add me to the list of players who's slotted event rep missions never completed. I've run through my characters and only events on character, that had already been completed by one character on the account were auto completed. Any slotted events not completed on any character were skipped over, despite being slotted. This isn't what they advertised, so I hope that's not intended.
I had tons of those tokens on several characters and now they're all deleted!
Would've been THAT bad to give us the chance to spend them on something, instead of just deleting them?
Those tokens represent lifetime, people spent earning them. Simply deleting them is absolutely disrespectful!
Behavior like this just makes me sick!
Cryptic really don't have to wonder why they have such a bad reputation.
And the real irony, they even made availible a second post-Main Project Daily that accepted the Crystal Shard (1) as the input (the first accepts a TFO Commendation). What could people do with that as they just deleted all the Shards?
I lost 7 Shards on one Character and about one or two 'Tokens' on another three Characters. Not sure what they were as Cryptic didn't put an entry into chat of what they deleted. So not a big loss overall.
The real kicker was the 4 Zefram Cochran Memorial Statue Holograms that were deleted on my Discovery Character. For those, they sold a pack of 4 of them just two months ago, which I purchased on that Character. Technically, these were from running the Event for four days on that Character, but it is just not right. The Anniversary Event was not a 14-Day Event and wouldn't eventually have TFO Commendations as an input anyway.

I'm also not going to pull the attitude I've gotten from Warframe players that didn't like my suggestion and said to me, "it's their game, they can do what they wish with it..." That would also be rather hateful. And egregious.
I will say however, the event came and went you didn't spend that currency on that event but still held onto it because gamers love their hoarding.
So, why then are you now asking to spend it on something else when it's current value is in the worthless category? Because of entitlement? Don't we have enough Special Snowflakes in the world, that we need it here too?
the events where from x date to x date. it was nowhere written, collect more then you need during these days so you can finish next one quicker !! however it was mentioned slott missions to finish them later !!!
the events where from x date to x date. it was nowhere written, collect more then you need during these days so you can finish next one quicker !! however it was mentioned slot missions to finish them later !!!
That is not a valid answer. Because it was possible to collect more then you need. It was not prevented. It was possible to use them again on event return. Events kept returning. So people still had tokens on stock.
Now one knew how or when Cryptic was going to change this. Cryptic should have given people the opportunity the exchange the tokens, instead of plain deleting them.
Cryptic changes the game all the time, in the past when items got obsoleted, people could exchange them. So it was to be expected the same would be the case now. So why not now? Why fully and overcompensate people who have slotted events (even without having event tokens), but not the people who actually have/had event tokens?
Its fairly simple. If the game makers want to delete my items, they should compensate for it. I paid for them. So I own them.

That is cryptics claim. They can write what they want. Does not mean its the law.
But if I buy for example ZEN to be used as ingame currency. I own the value this ZEN represents. Same for all Items I buy. If Crypric deletes items from me, they destroy value I own.
The rights you are referring to, have nothing to do with this. It is pure to protect copyrights.
As a customer I have customer rights too. If items I buy get removed by the company I bought them from, they have to return the money I have payed for them. Also even if items afterwards do not work anymore as specified when I bought them, there has to be a replacement of equal value/functionality. Same as if i buy a washing machine. The company cannot just remove it without payback or proper compensation. Or give no compensation if their product does malfunction (not caused by user abuse). Customers may expect the products they buy function until advertised end of life time, when used in a proper way.
With virtual items such as in games, there is no lifetime per item. The game itself has a life time, but it has not been advertised when the end of life time will be. In fact you can buy STO, so called for lifetime. Since no explicit end of life time is mentioned on items when buying them, people who buy them to be functional till end of life time of STO. When this is not the case, like with event tokens that got deleted, compensation should be in place.
That is not a valid answer. Because it was possible to collect more then you need. It was not prevented. It was possible to use them again on event return. Events kept returning. So people still had tokens on stock.
Just because it was possible to save them, didn't mean you should. This is one of those situations where there was plenty of time to cash in your tokens and you chose to save them to 'get ahead' on the next event that wasn't guaranteed to show up.
You had time to spend any extra tokens while the event was running.
The Secondary projects were for if you chose to continue running the event after you finished the project.
The Zen store/Dilithium purchases were for those who wanted to finish the project early or those who would not be able to finish the project it the time allotted for the event
Any 'token saving' was on us

Then you are breaking your local laws by agreeing to the TOS.
If your laws prevent you from agreeing to the TOS, then you should not have clicked 'I agree'
That's why is called Terms of Service. By clicking 'I agree', you agreed to those Terms
Its not about being 'correct' or 'true'. its a business transaction you agreed to
if you have played ANY online game, you should know this.
on a side note, you people DO know you are making a fuss over trinkets right?
most of the prizes from these event you are hording tokens for are not worth the effort. (and end up on the uncommon tier in the Phoenix box)
People who pay for items, or lifetime version, etc. Buy a service. So They own the service they payed money for. If items get rendered useless or worse get deleted, the service agreement under which these items were purchased gets broken.
Same as if you pay someone upfront for the service to clean the house. And all of the sudden this house cleaner does not clean your toilet any more. You should get compensation/money back.
So you do not own the cleaning materials, or the equipment the cleaner uses, but you are owner of the service you payed for. Same with STO you do not own the code, but you own the in game services you payed for.
Then you are breaking your local laws by agreeing to the TOS.
That’s not how it works outside the US as a TOS is not seen as a valid business transaction. The terms of the TOS cannot overwrite local laws. Cryptic can put in the TOS that they own your first born son. That doesn’t mean by clicking agree they do own your child. It gets very complicated on what is and is not valid depending on precisely where you live.
As real life money is involved it’s not as simple as cryptic going we own everything. But going into that doesn’t really belong in this thread.
As for agreeing to a TOS I don't remember ever agreeing to a valid TOS in this game.
“on a side note, you people DO know you are making a fuss over trinkets right?

Do you realise they were selling some of the tokens as little as 2 months ago for real cash. Then deleted them after people handed over real money. That is why some players are upset. At 1000zen its was hardly trinkets value.
