Honestly I hope they skip a Vorgon ship this year and do a T6 Risian ship, Risians are more thematic to DS9 then Vorgons. I know this unlikely.

The vorgon carrier they handed out last year packed quite a bit of base hull but felt lacking in ways of weapons..
Yeah, I felt they should've gave it 4 tac and 2 sci slots rather than 3 of both, and 6 weapons for a engi ship was disappointing.
...it was a carrier. Carriers have two bays of pets, and 6 weapons.
Usually carriers are sci with 6 weapons, having engi carriers also with 6 weapons doesn't differentiate them much and that's part of why I find it disappointing.
What gets a carrier more weaponry is the "dreadnaught carrier" designation (or "is the Kar'Fi", for reasons probably to do with "One-upping the Vo'Quv" way back when.)

As for Winter starships, I'd like ANYTHING that isn't Breen. I'd prefer faction ships like when they gave out the Dyson or the original Odyssey and Bortas'qu ships. I'm beginning to miss the Starfleet ship designs.

They've done all the breen ships now, including T6ifying the old ones. Will be most interesting to see what they'll think of next.
I'm kinda hoping the new Vorgon will be a Sci ship using the Cruiser model. Before anyone complains, the Krenim Battleship was turned into a science ship when it was made playable.
As for the Winter event ship... Not a clue. Although I wouldn't mind if they somehow made the Breen Fighter available somehow. Wouldn't be top prize but would be a nice addition. My KDF needs a Dralthi to fly around in. lol

Science is more likely IMO. The first Vorgon ship was an Escort. Then we got the Carrier, which was Engie heavy. It would make sense to make the new ship more Science oriented.
They have already decided what the ship will be, but I will speculate, anyway. I think it will be a Vorgon cruiser. As someone pointed out, it's the last of the three Vorgon ships. Yeah, it could be a science vessel, but all we got from the Lukari were science vessels. Also, I hesitate to call the carrier a cruiser. Sure, it can tank, but it has only six weapons and needs half a quadrant to turn. I would gladly trade the fighter bays and maybe even some of the health for more weapons and a better turn rate. I'd be ok with a Lukari cruiser, but as has been pointed out, the Vorgon set is now a 3 piece with a missing piece. I think we know where that's going. I'd be disappointed if it were a science vessel, as I've wanted an event cruiser for some time. A science themed cruiser would be cool, but, they'll give us what they give us. *shrug*
I love the design of the Vorgon Cruiser (the ones we fight ingame.. Vorgon Conclusions?) so I wouldn't mind one of those. Please make it a sci/sci-leaning ship though. Last few ships have been taccy or engi (Bajor fighter, Breen Escort, Vorgon fighter, Vorgon Carrier) - we haven't had a decent sci ship since the Lukari and before that the Krenim.
Though, if you're saving the sci ship for winter or anni, I'd love a Lukari Sci-Carrier. Make it so

I'd do it for the Luxuary Cruiser, not for another Vorgon ship. Don't get me wrong I love my tiger stripped Vorgon Carrier, but I have no interest in anyone Vorgon or Breen Ships. I have a T6 Carrier of each with pets and that is enough for me.
I do not however have a Risian Cruiser, so that is on my to do list when it comes out.
I'm really not as big on the summer event as some, its feels like grindy shore and unlike some I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance of a Lake with a beach and several ponds, I can visit if I want fun in the Sun (for real). A creek too right on the property.
Seriously I'm really geeky too, but this thread makes me sad, like the Sims does.
