New T6 ship incoming....

Looks like we are getting a T6 Sovereign. Not exactly how I had hoped we would, but I guess I'll take it.

Maybe we'll see some other ships given the same way?

    Let me break this down for you...it's a Command Assault Cruiser, a $30 value. T6 ships are worth $30. Command ships have Command Boff seats and only T6 ships have command Boff seats. There is no current T6 Assault Cruiser, much less a Command Assault Cruiser. The-E is a Sovereign. The model is a Sovereign. Am I making it easier to digest yet? ;)

    Why is anyone complaining???? These "Add-ons" for that game sell for $10-$15! So you can go buy a $15 item that you can throw away after pulling out the redeem code for a T6 Assault Cruise!!!!!! This is awesome! It's coming in November, and it ISN'T a lockbox or reward pack ship! This is uber cool!

    But it says "a $30 value" so unless T7 is arriving early that's a T6.

    This is awesome! I am so doing this! My "kids" and I play both games. Anytime Attack Wing gives a free code for a tier six STO ship, I am getting it, no matter what the ship is. (As long as the Attack Wing ship is priced normally.)

    Last year the only way to get the Mirror Universe T6 Guardian Cruiser was to make a donation to Chase Masterson's charity drive event. Unfortunately, that occurred during my 5 month break from STO where I was not even reading STO news about upcoming events.

    I didn't find out about that promotion until January 2016, long after the event was over.

    Also just had the Grand Nagus Marauder fiasco from June/July. Still not available to purchase. I'm not complaining here though because at least everybody CAN get this if they want too!

    Knowing Cryptic the codes will never expire. Thus if you get the code now you can just wait until it gets added to the console version.

    Let me break this down for you...it's a Command Assault Cruiser, a $30 value. T6 ships are worth $30. Command ships have Command Boff seats and only T6 ships have command Boff seats. There is no current T6 Assault Cruiser, much less a Command Assault Cruiser. The-E is a Sovereign. The model is a Sovereign. Am I making it easier to digest yet? ;)

    "As well as the chance to get a free ship" seems like an odd way to say we are guaranteed the Tier 6 Command Assault Cruiser in STO. Now if it said "Even if you already own the U.S.S. Enterprise-E, you are going to want to purchase the new repaint both for the new paint job and the Tier 6 Command Assault Cruiser for use in Star Trek Online", then it would be much clearer. It sounds more like they will give a ship that is likely not the Tier 6 Command Assault Cruiser to some lucky winners in some contest.

    I do think your analogy to the Mirror Guardian is well placed, but I don't agree it will be the only way to get a T6 Sovvy. The Mirror Guardian wasn't the only way to get a T6 Guardian. It was just a tweaked Guardian for the promotion. I expect the same will be true for this promotion. There will be a stock T6 Sovvy available for Zen, and a promotion-only version for WizKids. Wonder if Cryptic are thrilled to have it outed this way, though? Assuming, dangerously, that it's as it seems.

    Mrs. Masterson's charity was in fact the only way to get a MIRROR Guardian though. The regular Guardian has Intel seating, the mirror has command.

    If it is the t6 sov, I really hope its the ONLY way to get it, so I can enjoy the butthurt rage of those that laughed at the people pissed about the t6 TOS Connie

    There are no T5 ships with specialist seats. By identifying it as a COMMAND Assault Cruiser, AND stating that it is a $30 value, that implies that it is a full fledged T6.

    While I already have the first release of the Ent-E for Attack Wing, I might actually get this rerelease because that paintjob is WAY better than the original release. Also... T6 Sovy. Lexington needs a refit in STO.

    I doubt it. Besides... go to a tabletop store and spend $15 for a ship, get a code for a ship twice the price in STO... You're basically getting a T6 for half price, and a physical model to display if you don't play Attack Wing.

    Oh look a faction ship locked behind a wall of exclusivity. Still not as bad as the Constitution or KonsTitution though. I'm only halfway surprised it's not in the Dil store with the still misplaced faction TWoK uniforms. Still, I imagine they need the Dil slot for the T6 NX or Ambassador Class for only 50mil pink rocks.​​

    We don't know that for sure. This could just be an initial thing before releasing her in the C-Store. This isn't the first time Wizkids did a thing with STO.

    Well, 22nd November this year is 20 years since First Contact debuted, so at least someone seems to care about one anniversary this year after the joke attempt at commemorating the other one on STOs part.

    On a positive note, I have wanted a T6 Sovvy since T6 became a thing so it's a yay from me.

    Seriously, what a joke, devoting an entire expansion and a bunch of ships to TOS for the Anniversary of Star Trek, was a pathetic joke.

    One single ship, that however is totally a real appreciation of an anniversary.

    The downside of the mirror Guardian is that you don't get the fleet discount. (On the other hand, the other two ships in the bundle are regular ships, and thus fleetable.)
