Ha! "Deserve." Using that term is a good sign someone is asserting a claim to something they are not owed. Never mind the real-world terms for earning and acquiring things. Someone "feels" they "deserve" it, and that's all that matters.

Ignore ALL Federation requests, and focus finally on the Romulan - and Klingon Factions.
Those need this, and DESERVE this, to become equal in all with the bloody Federation.

    Thank you.

Fact: This is a Star Trek game. Fact: Star Trek has always been 90%+ FEDERATION. Fact: This GAME is 90% Federation. Fact: in canon the Klingons and romulans were always 2nd and 3rd string antagonists, and that's how much effort has been put into them in game. FACT: The devs are creating as much content for the Klingons and Romulans as is FINANCIALLY supported, as they are in this to make money......when Klingons were released as a playable race, they never spiked as a played race taking away from the Federation player base. In the early days of T5 ships being king, when the number of Klingon vs Fed "end game" ships was closer to being the equal, more players spent real money on Fed ships, and Fed content. Same for Romulans. Came out, a lot of people bought into the expansion, a lot of people played through the expansion, and outside of the Romulan packs.....not a lot of money was spent.

So if you want to blame ANYONE for the Klingon content and Romulan content not being what you consider fair.....you may want to look at the player base, not the game creators? They are in it for money, and as much as a bunch of players are crying for more stuff for the alt factions, those same players never spent near enough money to make it profitable for the game owners.

We all appreciate new ships, new content, new maps, new whatever.....and that takes money. And fact: by FAR the majority of the money by a LONG shot is from Fed content. And you can (and sounds like you will) knock that since there is less to be bought, of course there is less money.....but there's this thing called metrics. The metrics show that on a PER CAPITA basis, less of the Klingon players and Romulan players spend as much Zen (money) as the equiv Fed player.

Fact: most of the players that have been here since BEFORE F2P are still here......WE pay the bills. The F2P players come and go and don't raise much dust....or money. If you owned a small business, say an electronics store; who is your more valued customer: the guy who buys $5-$10 every single week on small but profitable stuff? or the guy who keeps coming in complaining that you have 10 times as many of brand X than brand Y, and he only wants brand Y, and he never buys anything?

If even a fraction of the Klingon or Romulan players owed (i.e. PURCHASED) every Zen ship, or even a large percentage of them....Cryptic would start releasing new content. But they don't. Sit in Kronos orbit, most of what you see there are the free leveled ships, lifetime vet ships, event free ships, etc. YES there are people that bought their fav T5 ship, and then bought a T6 ship, or a bundle. But a LOT of Fed players BOUGHT ships at every level. So they took the free leveled ship, but then spent money on 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 OTHER ships at the level, JUST BECAUSE. I'm sure some dev could run the numbers, but that's the short of it. That's what you see IN GAME.

Seriously, I have several Klingons chars, several Romulan alts, and in every other Star Trek game going back to Star Fleet Battles board game, I've ALWAYS played the Gorn or the Klingons. In THIS game, I'm fine playing just the Federation, because they made it diverse enough to be fun. And they did throw the Klingons, and Romulans enough content, maps, and story lines that make them fun, unique, distinct, and pleasurable enough to be what they are: the underdogs. And like the underdogs, they have less, are given less opportunities, and will still kick the snot out of a fed player in PVP. Seriously, tell me how often the Feds win in Ker'rat?

T6 would be great, but what I really want are remastered models. Each one of those ships looks extremely dated compared to the updated Defiant, Galaxy, Akira, Intrepid, etc.

Ever since it started happening, the model revamps are what I look forward to the most. They are phenomenal every single time.

at this point i will take it even without the model revamp i would not want that to be a reason for taking 837173627 months to get it in game

geez people. it's October the winter event is just a few weeks away. you are getting your panties in a wad because Cryptic isn't releasing a ship every week. we will get the winter event, MAYBE something in February and the T-6 Sovvy in conjunction with First Contact day

    Not likely.

When you have devs at the helm of this game that have openly said that they were "Relieved" when the war ended and they would no longer have to do KDF only content. What honestly do you think will happen?

The only way the KDF and Romulan factions will be getting new ships, is when the Federation does.

I don't agree with it in the slightest, and would rather all the factions were treated equally..

We need some form of doom thread, if the most obvious ones aren't allowed anymore.

Agreed - they really are superb. And the fact that they usually introduce a new design alongside the revamps (i.e the Pathfinder/Hestia/Andromeda/Valiant etc) is just the icing on the cake.
Provided that people like Thomas Marrone that are working on it actually have the spare time, because as I understand it, those revamps are usually not part of the original task of creating the Tier 6 variant. A real shame and we can be very thankful that Cryptic has a lot of dedicated trek fans working on their game.

Just to let you know the the T6 sovereign Windows/escape pod texture for currently accessible on the existing assault cruiser models on tribble and will most likely be removed on the next patch.

Apologies, but not entirely clear on what you are saying here?

Right now on tribble the updated sovereign class escape pod and window texture most likely done by Thomas can be used on the old sovereign/assault cruiser model.

Pity - yet another cruiser :(:(
Agreed. I was hoping that the next round of T6 ships would be science, since that ties in with the Temporal Operative specialization a little better than cruisers or escorts do (and we don't have any T6 Temporal hybrid ships that lack the mechanic yet)

Not that I know of. Most of the kdf ships are klingon designs, and so I think it would be nice to see a few non-klingon ships. THough I would rather see a Orion science ship, a Gorn cruiser, and also I would love to see them make a Ferasan destroyer or bird of prey (if they did that though I would not mind if they made it that both this an the atrox were open to be bought by bioth sides, while also giving each other additional parts to customize them.

Gorn ships were KDF's sci vessels, Orion ships were the KDF's FDCs before the command cruisers came out, and the destroyers were of Nausicaan design.

We've the Nausicaan T6 Koalasi destroyer.
    A T6 Varanus in a 3 pack with a T6 Nebula would be a perfect fit.
Which leaves the Orions missing a T6 ship, see my signature pic for what imo ideally should happen there :)

True. Though I would hope they don't keep to that conversion of your science/flight-deck/destroyers come from the non-klingon races only, since each of those races have so many ships that would increase the variety an choices we have. Though what ship type does the Lethean or Ferasan bring to the ship roster?I could definitely see them going the route of using the Varanus, while doing some variation of a carrier an dreadnaught for the Orion (Dreadnought carrier maybe?)

All joking aside, I'll be quite pleased to see a revamped Nebula - I may be a strong supporter of a T6 Nova, but the Nebula is a very nice ship and I would guess that, since it shares so many parts with the Galaxy class, a 'Nebula configuration' of the Andromedia class might not be an unrealistic hope.

Frankly, I don't understand why the Galaxy revamp didn't benefit the Nebula yet. The new Textures could also be used for it. Then a Type-6 Venture refit and a T6 Andromeda Variant and all would be well pig-1.gif

I would not mind actually seeing the many parts of the Galaxy class (the normal Galaxy an Galaxy beta, the Venture, Monarch, Andromeda) being added to use with the Nebula, but also would love to see a Nebula styled science-dreadnaught or carrier that could use the Galaxy-X class parts too (Galaxy-X/X beta, Yamato, Venture, Monarch, Andromeda). Could see it done in two releases with the Nebula being used for the science release, which could roll out with the Varanus an the Ha'nom; While than doing a release using the Nebula-X as I would dub it for now.
