    We finally get a T6 connie and it's in a lockbox?

    Vengeance class? Lobi.

    The first 'True' (2 hangar) Romulan carrier? Lockbox


    This blog makes me sad. :'(


    Edit: Oops, misread the blog, states one hangar. Lucky that Bort chimed in and stated two hangars. Guess in this case two 'wrongs' do make a 'right' lol.

    I am very disappointed that these ships are not in the C-Store.

    Two real quick questions:
    1) Does the D4 have battlecloak?
    2) The blog shows an alternate Battleth, but does not mention it in the blog. Is it available or is that just for show?

    It's available as a reward of the Kelvin timeline mission, according to the Tribble server.

    Just for show. It's actually rewarded elsewhere, and not included in the Lock Box / Lobi offerings.

    No Narada? Well, wild shot in the dark here...

    The Narada will be in an R&D/doff pack promotion and will be the third leg of the Tal Shiar lock box, similar to the Elachi and Tholian dreadnoughts.

    I was hoping that these ships would be in the C-Store..but alas, it was not to be. However, that doesn't mean I won't send myself bankrupt trying to get them and the lobi for the Vengeance.

    Please can I have the stats now? :)

    Was kinda-sorta expecting it anyway.

    I'll give it go, but I'm not going to get crazy with spending money for it.

    Gutted the Kelvin TImeline Constitution is going in a lock box. I was really hoping to buy that as I love the model. Sadly, I don't like character only unlocks so I'm out of luck. ​​
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    LOL no. Everything on that page looks absolutely horrendous. Especially what little KDF items are available. and virtually everything tied into the lockbox in some way? Thats greedy. Since when do what amounts to standard faction uniforms end up in the lobi store, thats just nuts.

    I'll be avoiding everything listed on that page like the plague.

    Well, they did it. The developers have finally managed to find some BS way to include the JJ Trek Universe into this game. I knew it was only a matter of time before they did. And they're lockbox ships.

    You would think that something called the 'Kelvin Lockbox' would actually have the Kelvin in it wouldn't you? Sure, I kinda knew it wasn't going to be, but I couldn't help but hang on to a tiny sliver of hope anyway.

    Ah well.

    Kudos to the artists though; the ships do look pretty spectacular.

    Klingons and Romulans don't make Cryptic money, so they get the least, as always. :) Anyone who didn't expect Cryptic to maximize their profit via a lockbox on Kelvin ships just doesn't know how Cryptic and CBS work.

    BTW you might want to consider making the Vengeance Cross-faction. The Vengeance wasn't a legit Federation ship, it was a rogue Section 31 ship that ended up being an enemy ship and there are a lot of Federation role players who would love to go up against the Vengeance in PvP. I think making it Federation only might damage this.

    As for the JJ-Prise/Vengie:
    Lock box / lobi eh? *shrugs* at least they won't pop up everywhere. But, +points for letting Klingons and Romulans to grab the Vengenace lobi box cheaper (since they're not getting a ship out of it, only the trait & console).

    What's up with that Romulan carrier? Looks like a mogai and a T'Liss welded together :smiley:

    Are the Klingon physical features part of the Lockbox uniform or do they come elsewhere? I get that the uniforms are, but I'm more concerned about the physical appearances or perhaps in the future getting those appearances.

    Not surprised these ships wound up in the lockbox. Would have been nice if they'd been CStore ships but they aren't.
