2) The blog shows an alternate Battleth, but does not mention it in the blog. Is it available or is that just for show?
Just for show. It's actually rewarded elsewhere, and not included in the Lock Box / Lobi offerings.
BTW you might want to consider making the Vengeance Cross-faction. The Vengeance wasn't a legit Federation ship, it was a rogue Section 31 ship that ended up being an enemy ship and there are a lot of Federation role players who would love to go up against the Vengeance in PvP. I think making it Federation only might damage this.
Rogue or not, S31 is a Federation-based agency. And Kirk described the Vengeance as "an unmarked Federation ship."
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.

While that's true, it's still an enemy ship. This will probably hurt role players and PvPers.
TBH I'm non-plussed about the JJverse stuff. I personally would rather have the Temporal Ships from the new expansion than these anyway. The Vengeance is just as bad looking and illogical from a design POV as it was in the Movie.
But I will say I laughed at the concept that the ships from the Jjverse are "cutting-edge technology [that] allows their starships and equipment to be comparable with our own in the early 25th Century, despite technically being hundreds of years old."
Seriously?! Who'd have thought 'Budgineering' was more advanced than 25th Century ships! They don't even have Quantum Torps in the JJverse so how can they be more advanced!?!
Cop-out just to make them T6 instead of the T2 ships they really would be in the JJverse timeline. No one would buy a lockbox for a T2 ship regardless what it is.

disappointed not by the ships, i don't need ships; but by the clothes. at a price of 500 zen each costume (bound to character), I would buy 4500 zen (5 roms, 4 kdf). but like they are in the box, i'm going to spend 0 €. And i'm not even going to try to buy them in the exchange at stupid prices.
But, congrats to the artists, they have done a nice job
this is why i don't get lobi ships with real money, $150-$200 to get 900 lobi, I'd rather grind dill to lobi with this bad exchange rate for a few months for the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought. i might put in $10 every ones in a wile but not hundreds for one ship.
"I'm not big on telepaths myself. I'm not big on guns either. But if everyone else has them, I want to make sure I can get my hands on the biggest one I can."
I'm loling loads at the KT Connie being comparable to our current tech considering it's been ripped to shreds 3 times already! Still yet to 'see' the really awful shields that they have! I get they've had a bit of a fast track, but the Narada was a mining vessel for God's sake. There's no way they are comparable. And on the Kevlin itself....it couldn't even be T5U as it predated the actual event it got destroyed. It's about the same as the NX-01 tbh.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

*snickers* Man, such flawed logic you've got there.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Was hoping for a "Superblood" ground trait, but this made me smile.
ENGINEERS: Sabotage
Targeted AOE Weapons Offline.
If any drones/constructs are within the affected area they will violently explode dealing Electrical Damage to other nearby foes.
Nice!
Some questions though:
For example, if you own the KT Constitution can you use those ship parts on a stantard timeline Constitution or any other ship?
Do the KT ships come with alternative ship parts or hull textures?
Bridges?

The addition of Khan's assault cannon is also nice.
But it does bring up a good STO question, "Where's Sulu's telescopic katana?"
I agree. They missed 'Blood of Khan' as a genetic ground trait. Once every x minutes resurrection. Sulu's katana will be in Kelvin Lockbox II. I mean the Xindi got two.
Well, they did it. The developers have finally managed to find some BS way to include the JJ Trek Universe into this game. I knew it was only a matter of time before they did. And they're lockbox ships.
Isn't that the best possible case? It's going to make them a TRIBBLE-ton of money, ensuring the game remains alive, but it remains a rarity!

Ok, T6 Connie is a lockbox so its rare, ok. Please tell me theres a T1-4 C Store JJ Prize coming too. You guys are fools if you dont make a C store version right when this expansion comes out. I plunked down $50 into the game yesterday banking on a C store JJ Prize coming. That money sure isnt going into lickbox gambling.

Nope, sorry. Not unless these lockboxes sell. Get gambling! -Cryptic
It is thrilling to finally have the opportunity to include assets and characters from the recently-rebooted Star Trek movie franchise in Star Trek Online. The 2009 film Star Trek, and its follow-up Star Trek Into Darkness, brought Trek back to the forefront of modern science fiction media, revitalizing the franchise with action and style for existing fans, and a whole generation of new ones. Time travel and dimensional shifts have presented us with the perfect storytelling tools to allow such a crossover as something that could reasonably exist within our “prime” timeline.
Intresting if your like me your not remotely interested in JJ stuff and anybody who did want this are NOT gonna be pleased about the lockbox thing for the ships, well done Cryptic, Paramount and CBS. I'll stick too the infinty box thank you.
The addition of Khan's assault cannon is also nice.
Oh, is THAT what the Lobi weapon is?
I think that's what it is. I could be wrong. In fact I fully anticipate 5 forum posters meticulously going frame-by-frame in Into Darkness and comparing it to the Boolean Heavy Assault cannon in STO to see whether it is or not.
Some questions though:

No.
Yes on hull textures.
Yes on bridges.
Thanks

I dare you to do better.
It technically is, yes, it's just not official.

Yes, I know CBS is the one saying no on the t6 connie. Still gonna complain about it!

Anyhow on with the AOY stuff!

You mean groups Cryptic doesn't care about?
But, congrats to the artists, they have done a nice job
I would have dropped a very large sum of money for a mega bundle, but anything that is not an account lock has zero value to me.

A T6 connie, BUT it's the one from the Kelvin Timeline, AND it's Lockbox only.
This is truly the magnum opus of trolling the playerbase. You need to give yourselves a massive pat on the back.
I've been awaiting this day for quite some time.
Hell yeah!
Oh, is THAT what the Lobi weapon is?
It's going to be so much fun, isn't it?
