Don't know if I shared this yet but... my Mirror Uniform Mockups.
At the time I didn't have the TMP uniforms. The Odyssey Dress made for a good Mirror as the higher collar kinda gave it more of a military feel I guess.
Looks good Rattler, you do have a good sense of style.

What can I say? I'm a costume fiend. The Enterprise era Terran patch and Yestarday's Enterprise belts worked pretty well, and I mostly just took darker colors, although with the Wells I kinda reversed the departmental colors so that the arm was black and the rest was departmental. If we do happen to get the new Mirror Uniforms I might have some more fun. ^^
Should probably screenshot my Hazard Suit mockup and a few others as well.

Yeah, I'd like to know that too...and dagnabbit, that person's Hierarchy BOFF got a real uniform! (I managed to have that luck with one of my Kobali BOFFs, using a tail, but not with the Hierarchy one.)
Ok.. learning a lot... i got it!! I did it like this:
*First assign a Screenshot key: /bind F10 screenshot_jpg
*Second assign another one: /bind F11 screenshot_ui_jpg
The difference is that the F10 will clean all the menus at the screenshot, just keeping your landscape/background/action
*Then with the info of the character opened you just need to press F11. You will get a screenshot with the character in front of the black background which is easy to take out at any graphic program.
*Using
/renderscale <number> - multiplies the rendering resolution of your game by the number specified. So /renderscale 2 will render the game at twice its current resolution. When you take a screenshot, that screenshot will be saved at the renderscale you specify. This means that if your desktop resolution is 1920 x 1080 and you run /renderscale 2, your screenshots will be 3840 x 2160. This can tax older computers though, so be sure to go back to /renderscale 1 when you’re done. If you forgot what you set your renderscale to, just use /renderscale without the number and the game will tell you what you’re running in your chat window.

Failing all else, the Print Screen button will save a screenshot to your clipboard. You can then paste the screenshot by creating a new blank image in Windows Paint and using the Control+V keybind. If you're going to crop the image anyways, this approach saves a few steps.
Well, I knew about Print Screen. Didn't know the screenshot commands, though, or how to remove the UI. Still don't know how to get such great looking pics of my characters, though. Doesn't seem like anything I'm doing works.

Yeah, I saw your instructions from earlier. Thank again. But I guess I must be doing something wrong. It seems the only place that I can take really clear, detailed pics of my characters is in the Tailor. Unfortunately, I end up with the Holodeck background, which would be a pain to try and remove.

Take a screenshot of the slider positions and the colours and whatnot and build your characters in the Foundry. This comes with a plain black background that can easily be removed. For a slightly smaller screen the BOFFs screen where you equip them with their equipment.

That's an awful lot of work re-creating characters in the Foundry just to take pics of them. I've tried opening the Equip UI and increasing the render scale, and then taking a pic, but the pics are still pixelated when you zoom in on the character.

I hope nobody minds if I borrow this thread for a moment. I have a costume question and this was the closest one I could find.
Can anyone tell me what this is? Tried asking the player, but they didn't respond.

I have one character that is a Mirror Universe captain. Here is his uniform, along with his XO. Command Staff have gold piping, all others have silver. This was done before they included the shorts in the Terran Odyssey uniforms, so now she wears those in matching department colors, although I'd prefer if they were made out of the same material as the Odyssey jackets.

That is the Herald Thrall outfit (lobi, or exchange with enough ec), with 7 of 9 implants (z-store). Mind you don't confuse the thrall set (lobi outfit unlock) with the heavier armoured varient (unlock with lobi herald armour piece).
^ Above Fleet Logo on Soa' display was created by an awesome Frog, and I stole it to match the template Coby's follows.
The short sleeves on the Oddyssey uniform are photoshopped, right? Or is there a short sleeved option?

Here's my current WIP with a new Deferi service. I'm still writing up the lore whenever I have time. The rough idea is that Defera faces changes roughly similiar to what Japan did when facing superior technology and rapid development from the outside. The service itself unifies Federation and Empire influence which is why I went for the Dyson uniform.
Some more impressions and one of my current Deferi crew here:

@rattler2 Thanks I thought a while what kind of uniform would be fitting. At first I went with the Kobali attire because I think most of the things the Kobali got would fit the Deferi much better, the far eastern warrior monk look certainly was a better fit. But since this one is a very limited costume item which I couldn't even use on new characters I redesigned the whole service to only use uniform parts anyone can at least acquire (aside from a few limited vanity additions). The Dyson uniform represents a combined service of Starfleet and Defense Force - the original Dyson uniform however is severly underused in the game and aside from a single mission never comes up again which is where I decided to fill a blank.
At first I designed the Deferi having a "Guardian Order" of warrior monks but got back to the drawing board now, although I somehow stayed in the "far eastern" inspiration. When medieval Japan slowly got transformed into the Japanese Empire, adapting western influences and uniforms for their military I saw some parallels here.
The Deferi society seemingly existed in a state of isolation before they made contact and a social form of direct democracy. There are no visible uniforms for anyone aside from Surah and his two guards and no dedicated service for space travel or defense - all of that seemingly happens on a "on demand" basis. Now, the exposure to the Klingons, the UFP, the Breen and the Borg and everything else showed that the Deferi were stunningly underprepared for anything they faced. Drawing inspiration and support from their new allies Surah initiated the "Defenders" program, a general space and ground based service tasked with protection, transportation and exploration of Defera, it's outposts and colonies and ancient ruins.
Neither Starfleet nor the Empire outright supplied them with weaponry or starships, but they offered technical help and advise. Klingon warriors trained the Defenders in combat techniques and Starfleet engineers provided the know-how to develop and improve their technology like shield generators and weapons. They also had a special deal with the Xindi but I haven't fleshed out that part yet. The Xindi council shared their phased biomatter tech and also lend a Narcine to the Defender's fleet as the principle of universal balance appeals to them quite a lot.
Anyway, the uniforms ( @artan42 , you asked for a ping)
I didn't make them up pretty, but I'll wrap them up in a binder with the accompanying description of the service and backstory once I get there
As I said, Dyson uniform for their Starfleet and Klingon cooperative background and balance of allies. They use a rank structure inspired by Scandinavian and British law enforcement because I thought it'd be nice. They're referred to as "Defender Constables" or just "Constables". The coloured uniforms do not represent a branch per se - like the Klingon warriors you cannot tell the specialization of a Constable. Instead, the uniforms more or less illustrate a function or a level seniority, although mostly in a formal environment. The "Greys" and the "Blues" are worn in duty, usually.
Defender Cadet/Junior Constable
Grey wearing Junior Constables make up the lowest Defender rank. They're either in training or make up the bulk of the star cruiser crews performing the basic duties
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded
Defender Constable
Most of the Defenders' field operatives are of the Defender Constable rank. The "Blues" are also their signature uniform and worn in most circumstances of active duty. Senior ranks may also wear the "Blues" when in the field.
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded
Defender Constable 'riot attire' (for lack of a better term)
Security and combat operations may require more sophisticated gear as Klingon training taught the Deferi. Close quarters armour provides protection from ranged and melee attacks, cuffs may be used to apprehend targets
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded, armour kit: 'Security' 1 and 2, freely avialable
Defender Senior Constable
The representative red uniform marks Senior Constables which are equivalent to Lieutenant Commanders, overseeing smaller units of Constables or ship departments or commanding smaller ships. Senior Cosntables may choose to wear the "Blues" in duty, although they either wear their Defender badge on their belt or a golden sash as well as insignia displaying their seniority
*in my previous post you can see my Deferi character's away team. It's a earlier version but she wears the Blue attire although displayin her badge and higher rank insignia
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded, rank insignia: TOS formal 4 or 5, belt badge: Formal (female only), optional sash: TOS mirror
Defender Over Constable
Over Constables are command staff, wearing gold uniforms. They may simply wear the "Blues" in active duty, retaining their rank insignia displaying seniority. Badge or a sash may be displayed around the belt
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded, rank insignia: TOS formal 3, belt badge: Formal (female only), optional sash: TOS mirror
Defender Master Constable
Senior commanding officers equivalent to a Captain or Commodore. Black formal uniform but they may wear "Blues" in duty, retaining once again their senior rank insignia
All Dyson uniform parts, optional gloves: padded, rank insignia: TOS formal 1 or 2, belt badge: Formal (female only), optional sash: TOS mirror Gold or Red

Thanks That's a good idea, the long jacker could always be considered alternate for whatever purpose it may serve. I didn't include it though because it clips with belts, so the female seniors wearing their badge (formal belt) get clipping and if anyone is to wear a sash it will also clip. But without a belt it should work just fine

When I saw the TNG mirror uniform mockup picture, I really feel how much a graphics update on the standard TNG uniforms is needed. The early TNG uniforms look a lot smoother and clearer than the normal TNG ones.

That's an awful lot of work re-creating characters in the Foundry just to take pics of them. I've tried opening the Equip UI and increasing the render scale, and then taking a pic, but the pics are still pixelated when you zoom in on the character.

If it's only uniforms you're posting it should't take long. The people wearing them can be generic.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Tried asking the player, but they didn't respond.

If its the standard Odyssey... no. I believe Mirror has short and no sleeve.
Some more impressions and one of my current Deferi crew here:

I'd suggest the Defender Master Constable wears the long jacket version to add a little more distinction. Or at least mine will be .
