    Wrong series.

The reason why that is said in Band of Brothers is because we actually say that in real life. But please exhibit more of your ignorance.

You can troll and bait and ramble all you want about STO. I will freely admit you have more experience in it than I do. So do so to your heart's content.

But keep your comments on things you know NOTHING about to yourself.

Media-quoting is a popular nerd pasttime. I still think the device has merit in the setting, especially as a Ferengi-themed one.

Go to Hell. Obvious liar is obvious. I will never, ever believe you have any uniformed military service. Ever. You are a simple forum troll with zero credibility. You can Google all sorts of TRIBBLE if you want to "prove" it. I don't care. All you will prove is your Googling is competent. That is all. Drop dead.

Unless you INHERITED your USAA account.

Your only purpose here, and the entire purpose of Dental Fleet fools here, is to cause problems, bait people, generate manipulated sympathy, and ultimately get people moderated out because you have friends on the forum mod team.

You and your pals are nothing special. Asshats like you guys are a dime a dozen on forum communities.

How is the issue of whether someone was once in "a" military remotely relevant to the points they are making?

Editted 'the' to 'a', to eliminate US-centric bias

Had nothing to do with relevance. He was implying, by his USAA account comment, that he was in the service. That is laughable.

You need to stop white knighting for trolls.

Do not care. And you need to stop white knighting for trolls. SF Dental is a troll group that, to the forum's shame, has moderator friends.

I am full of suggestions for making a Ferengi-themed saluting device with a lockout mechanic, which also would protect against the unlikely scenario of multiple salute devices in the same locality.

Nothing left in terms of trolling and baiting. After your stupid hipster "I'm so cool because I know about a classic 80s movie" jpeg, you pretty much hit bottom.

By the way, I am fully aware I am going to lose this. Your moderator team friend/s will come to your rescue sooner or later. But for the time I have, I admit that I do enjoy being vocal about the truth of your idiotic fleet and what you're really doing here. So please continue to bait people, to trap them and get them moderated. It's a black mark on your fleet and a black mark on the forum.

Well. In an effort to get this thread back on track after that unpleasant derail, how about this:

We already have the Discoball ingame, and it is here to stay. But what about similar devices for other emotes? Such as Mok'bara, Jumping Jacks, Press-ups, etc.

These don't necessarily have to have a fancy animation like the disco lights (though I would welcome any ideas people might have), but would basically have the same effect as disco-balls, except instead of having (non-nullifier equipped) nearby players dance, it would make them do one of the above emotes. There would be different balls for each of the major emotes.

Getting back to the original topic...
    7. Why not make it possible to hail the enemy too (while you're at it)? Use the diplomacy skill level to negotiate a surrender? Minor point this one, but I just like more interaction.

This could actually be an interesting addition to the game. Sure you are not going to be hailing ships in an all our war in an STF but for some less intense scenario's it could be done, especially is it takes into account some of the achievements that players have gained via doffs.

I'd be down for sounds too. I think one of the party poppers has one for shooting coins, which also seems appropriate to use here. I would need to turn sounds back on to test it though, unless someone else remembers offhand?

this i can actually get behind...trying to sync a specific emote among a group of players is a major PITA - this would handily solve the issue

It's amazing how some people will state they are being 'trapped' into being 'moderated'.

It's a bit like a bank robber telling the cops they where 'forced' to rob the bank because 'they did not like the bank or it's employees'.

    Logical fail at it's best.

I really like the new skill system and visual slots, even though there aren't many deflectors in the game which have visuals.

Here's some things I want in the game.

Transmutation tokens in the C-store (500 Zen each).

Species transfer tokens in the C-store (2000 Zen each with free name change).

Reward accolades with lobi (5 per accolade).

    Standard mission rewards:
    5 lobi (10 for advanced)
    380 dilithium (720 for advanced)
10 fleet marks (20 for advanced)
10 marks of choice package (20 for advanced)

Playable faction unlock: Dominion (6000 Zen)
Vorta (Sci) / Jem'Hadar (Tac) / Cardassians (Eng)
    2-3 Cardassian ships
    2-3 Jem'Hadar ships
    Cardassian & Jem'Hadar boffs/doffs available
A handful of Dominion species from DS9 in the C-store for 500 Zen each to unlock.

    New visuals:
[Stealth Operational Armor Mk XIII [rnd] [rnd] [rnd]] from the mission "The Dragon's Deceit" should have a cool-looking sparkling visual like its icon has and built-in stealth functionality.

EVERY deflector/shield/engines/warp core from a set should have a visual.
(Warp core visual to change warp trail, engines to change impulse trail).

Different arc-themed visual and/or sound effects for all items of every space set for each story arc completed. Reman visuals for Reman arc, etc.

    At least 3 more STFs.

Rotating monthly events with non-expiring contribution materials so you can just wait for the next time an event comes around to use your items on, instead of missing out on it. Sector space red alerts/encounters by the current event enemy, i.e. Tholians / Mirror fed, etc.

Re-releasing old events in the rotation, so new players can earn any items they previously missed.

    Craftable reputation weapons.

Remove lockbox weapons from boxes and replace them with an R&D tech discovery datapad with a 1% drop rate, allowing a player with the pad to craft lockbox weapons with the crafting modifiers, i.e. [pen], [over], [rapid], etc.

I was told the PVP community would explode if this idea was implemented but; visual weapon energy customization, i.e. if you used disruptors but hate the colour green and want purple, you can just customize each weapon the way you want to, maybe with loot items, a bit like gems on armor in World of Warcraft, or maybe through the crafting window and also customizable torpedo visuals; Undine torpedo, Vaadwaur torpedo, etc. Even if you had to unlock, earn, craft or buy these visual components.

This might be a terrible idea but give each tier of ship a combat rating a bit like the admiralty system and scale enemy damage output and defence to match it. For example, a group of players doing an elite STF in NX-01 light escorts having enemies scaled down to that rating, where as doing the STF in T6 scimitars would scale enemies much higher. I feel like this would encourage people to use any ship they wanted to and still be viable in end-game PVE.

Quoting this because I don't want it to go away. Also, yes, crafting! Very yes. And any personal stealth items that actually implement shroud would be awesome.

That is all it seems to be though... vitriol.

I have yet to see anybody post or reference any conclusive evidence that Starfleet Dental has done anything wrong. All's I have ever seen is some very angry people go off on a tangent/crazy rant about why they don't like them, whilst never (ever) providing any evidence to backup their claims.

As such, I view them in the same kind of category as 'tin foil hat/flat earth society' people.

'Naming and shaming' is against the rules for a reason. For all we know this person with a grudge could be an ex fleet member. The 'body of knowledge' they have put forth is little more than 'I don't like them' so 'Whaaa!' I'll disparage them.

Given the large number of people who are part of (or who have been) the Dental Fleet (I hear it is pretty big, but I am not one) it would not be surprising if a few nutcases got kicked out now and then and put forth these conspiracy theories.

I'm beginning to think these derail attempts are being used to shut down game player population discussion of developing game features. But that's ascribing an awful lot of capability to some. I would prefer if we could come together and discuss game features we'd like to see, as Dental AND others have posted.

Because my god what a crafting revamp could do for STO...

Nope. I am an independent person making up my own mind based upon evidence.

What have I seen in game? A fleet who spends a huge amount of resources/time/effort supporting a dedicated channel to helping people. In addition to hosting events and give-aways.

What have I seen from you? A rant, and nothing else.

Guess who wins Occams razor? (hint, it's not you).

oh come off it. You're placing yourself as their pet. You leap to their defense constantly, white knight for them even when they are the ones to start TRIBBLE, you willfully ignore their obvious nasty comments, everything adds up to you wanting to lie down at master's feet.
