I'm happy to announce the semi-final voting rounds of the Design Your Ship contest!

Now's your chance to vote on which design you prefer! Your votes will determine what ship is built in a single-elimination voting tournament. As the tournament progresses, we will continue to update the designs with more detail!

Our next round up is the Epsilon and Omega designs! Which one do you prefer Captains? Let us know in the forums, Facebook, and Twitter.

    Omega and Alpha look similar enough to be two options of the same customizable ship. Can we call this a tie already and get both of them? ;)

    Wow, it turns out it doesn't look anywhere near as ugly as Jupiter. Whew! Thought it'd be more of a tall bulky updated clone with a terrible deflector. I'm so glad to be wrong! Still... #remembersigma

    Now I'm not as opposed to Omega. But it still probably looks the least interesting out of all of them. The long hanger hanger bay is probably the only thing it has going for it in my eyes. However, the front bay is more functional since whale ships are always broadsiding.

    A surprisingly tough choice after the new concept art... but I hope Epsilon gets the win. : )

    Edit: DEAD ON 50%! This is going to be a close one.

    We all know that Jupiter fans swarmed the polls and overwhelmed all the other candidates. All of the good deisgns have been struck down like Sigma and Delta. The only reason im voting is out of spte to keep that hideous monstrosity out of the game. I wont buy it.

    Omega looks waaay diffrent in the new picture, than in the old one. Still I like that better.

    Saucers on both of these leave me... lacking...

    Therefore, it comes down to whether I like the centerline impulse trails & the "claw-esque" nacelles of Omega or the standard quad-paired nacelles with impulse engines tucked in between them of the Epsilon...

    If Alpha (the current contender I'm the biggest fan of) doesn't make it, I can at least live with Epsilon's look...
    Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

    The hangar bays of Omega are big enough to be easier targets to shoot torpedoes at or ram into and thus, to be easily crippled.

    So, Epsilon.

    On Epsilon I feel like I better understand how the launch and recovery would work: one direction uses the side bays and the other direction uses the front bay. That seems much more efficient to me than Omega.

    I was expecting Omega to just swarm this, but looking at them, the saucers are remarkably similar.

    I actually like them both, they're pretty good looking, but I'm going Epsilon. The in-close nacelles seem to be better for keeping the shield bubble small and condensed, which is something that is well suited for a carrier.

    I do have to give props for Omega the Jupiter Update. It's gorgeous. Can't take anything away from that, the 2410 update is very nice.

    Again, Omega's wide shuttle bays make it the more natural choice for a Carrier than the Epsilon. Bring on the Alpha vs Omega final battle.

    They can't win against Alpha. Maybe Epsilon has a slight chance because of the very good looking stardrive section. But I'm not holding my breath lol.

    Seriously though, with the side bays you can broadside covering fire as the fighters come and go.

    Well, I'd be okay with it if it IS the first 3-hangar Carrier. But... it's a little unbelievable given that there's no precedent for that yet.

    Omega feels more carrier-like and I'm partially biased because of the Jupiter resemblance. Also Epsilon is too close to being a Jem'hadar bugship / defiant hybrid for me. It'd make a great escort ship I think. So Omega it is.

    Omega, as said by others, is more carrier-like than any of the others. Looks ok too. I just wish they would drop the two bottom nacelles. I think it would be a better design with only 2.

    I like the Omega but it won't matter if we get the same old fighters or shuttles as hanger pets.
    Frigets / escorts are the ONLY way to go. Something with some real teeth like Aquarius escorts or similar.
    Quad phaser cannons, phaser turrets, quantum torpedos and a point defence system.

    Oh man oh man oh man! This is getting tough! LOVE Epsilon! The shape the nacelles...beautiful. I likes that long hanger on Omega though. Slap that on the Epsilon and you can consider my money taken.

    Pretty sure that's just for show if you look at most the new ships that have come out they all have multiple shuttle bays but only one shuttle bay slot.
