We’re excited to announce three new Tier 6 starships! The Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser, the Kolasi Siege Destroyer and the Kara Advanced Warbird are here!
I didn't expect the Guramba and Ha'apax to be made analogs of the Galaxy-X, but I guess I can't complain about a huge ship like the Ha'apax getting a hangar bay. They all look very nice!
The Galaxy-X remaster is also gorgeous, and finally a Monarch skin!
Yes! My Nausicaan thanks you all - this is a great day for Non-Klingon KDF characters; I can only hope that soon we'll see T6 Orion and Gorn ships as well...
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

Here's hoping for a T6 Nebula/Phalanx/Ha'nom pack and maybe a Heavy Cruiser/Dacoit/Ha'feh flight deck cruiser pack, since the Constellation has all those hangar bays... if the hangar bay is on the Ha'feh part of the T6 Ha'apax model, anyway.
The Yamato looks to be offering too little to warrant a purchase IMO, but the Siege destroyer may provide the boost to the Gurumba many have been waiting for.
Who's willing to bet they'll wield command seats?
Hoping for a nausican fighter to go with the siege destroyer's hangar bay, but that may be too much to ask for.
Either way, still need to refill dilithium reserves so any purchase will have to wait.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Im pretty disappointed you guys are still penalizing ships by taking up a console slot. I love my Galaxy X, but forcing me to chose Saucer Sep to make it not maneuver like a truck or the many many other consoles that could be used hurts.
Why not take the console away and take the lance away when seperated? That would give a 'seige' mode when all together of a sort and till balanced.
The Yamato can use the Galaxy and Monarch costumes for free, and it can use the Venture’s costume if that starship is owned.
This is a bit ambiguously worded. I assume it means to say that we can use the Galaxy-X costume (ie: 3 nacelles), and NOT the plain vanilla Galaxy costume (ie: 2 nacelles al a Enterprise-D)?
Query - will the Yamato be able to equip the consoles from the Andromedia? We know it can equip the saucer-sep, but will it be able to utilise the Molecular Cohesion Nullifier Field?
The T5 dreadnought can use it, so the T6 version definitely can as well.

The Dreadnought remodel blog shows the new remastered Galaxy, Galaxy Beta and Monarch variants, which are 3-nacelled.
Hoping they are released at a weekend promo price. A few questions for clarification:
"The Yamato can use the Galaxy and Monarch costumes for free" meaning only the Galaxy, not the Galaxy-X?
Will the Venture skin will look like the T5 Gal-X Venture skin, and not a basic Venture?
Will the Yamato allow Antimatter Spread console which will enable it for the Saucer and wide beam phaser lance, as well as the Basic Cloak console?
Lastly, a comment, in that I hope they will have pilot spec to pave the way for pilot cruisers, but fully expect yet another command station, and that the Supplemental Subsystems console has a secondary toggle to decide when to use it again at 20 counters.

Squeeeee!!!! Could we have a proper science ship for the romulans and klingons ? Maybe with a Gorn look or Orion look ? As for the romulans a Hanom like ship would be terrific. Loved that ship as i was leveling up my sci romulan
i dislike the fact, that the third nacelle in the andromeda-X costume variant is sleeker than the two outer nacelles. its just wrong.
either adapt all three nacelles to be more sleek/thin, or make the third one like the outer ones. i dont get the point why that third nacelle isnt as broad as the two outer ones. it makes the ship having 2+1 nacelles instead of 3 identical ones.
(i could understand that if the outer nacelles were irregularly shaped, but basically thats a reason to manually design a third one, but not why this one is sleeker/thinner than the other ones)
the refit adds a third nacelle, that is the same as the outer ones. its not a "third" new piece, its a copy of the two outer ones.
to me that fact alone is horribly - cant exactly tell why, but it destroys "symmetry" here (or tri-metry - TRINITY is the word^^)
Yahyyyy \0/ thank you for providing another opportunity to buy the same ship ... again ... for a higher price .... because we love to pay for the same thing again \0/
well, the ships have some improvements over passed ships ... ok ...
a good sale point could be if we could use the "Supplemental Subsystems universal console" on different ships, because it might not fit our playing style, so the appeal to buy this ship so good
Question for @pwlaughingtrendy in you happen to have access to the info:
Will the Kolasi (T6 Guramba) Siege Destoryer come with it's own new Nausicaan fighters?
Indeed. The Kolasi comes equipped with Nausicaan Stinger Fighters. Improved versions of these fighters are available in the Dilithium and Fleet stores.
Excellent! My Nausicaan can now have a proper home.
But where is the Javelin? I note the other two have their lances built in.
The Guramba as I recall has to enter Seige Mode in order to fire it's lance, and it's a transformation where the bow of the ship flips around turns inside out and becomes the aft, and the lance is stowed in the aft section. Kind of like the beak on an Octopus.
In other words, to quote Barf, "It's not just a spaceship...it's a Transformer!"
"Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you-Ye are many they are few"

Thank you for your prompt reply and the info!
You've just made me extremely happy about this, the Guramba has been one of my favorite ships in STO anyway - however attention to details like this introduction of new Nausicaan fighters is something that I happen to appreciate a lot and sheds a very positive light about the entire release in my eyes.
Thank you for this, you've just sold one Kolasi Siege Destoryer here.

The face leech transformation is one of the things which give the Gurumba its ominous aura.

Nice work on bringing the ship up to the new version from the Blu-Ray release! I have been looking forward to this for quite some time.

As long as that's true for the Kolasi, then I'm just that much more likely to get it
Seriously, I can only hope the ability to connect with these lances improves. And that the damage is meaningful.
