Meh, still disliking that 3rd nacelle, but if it can sub in a different nacelle and pylon from other variants, then at least it can be made more tolerable (just have to pretend it's a compact mission pod with engine). Still hoping the 3rd nacelle can be omitted entirely. But fortunately, since it's a bundle, I'll be buying it for the Romulan and KDF ships, rather than for the Yamato.
Reading the blog again, I think these will NOT have Intel seats. Here's my reasoning:
All three of these Tier 6 starships come equipped with the Supplemental Subsystems universal console. Activating this console substantially increases your starship’s maximum subsystem power levels for a short time. While active, incoming energy weapon attacks damage the attacker, and leech a small amount of the attacker’s subsystem power back to you. Additionally, you gain a Subsystem Overload Counter each time you are hit with an energy attack. After obtaining 20 counters you emit a devastating pulse of electrical energy which deals heavy damage to nearby enemies. Affected enemies have all of their subsystems knocked offline for a brief period.
This console provides a passive bonus to all subsystem power levels.
With this console slotted and having OSS (if it were an Intel ship) makes this a pretty awesome ship (assuming the T6 galaxy Boff layout) and I don't think Cryptic will let me have this ship as an awesome ship. So I think it'll be yet again a command ship. Of course, it can use a cloak like the Intel ships and the Arbiter (also has intel seats), so I HOPE it's Intel seating. Not waiting patiently for tomorrow's blog.

The Yamato and Monarch Dreadnought variants are the first 3-nacelle Federation designs that I would like well enough to fly. I'm still holding out for some other T-6 ships I want to see, so not likely to buy this time around.
I like the look of the Kara a bit better than I liked the Ha’apax, but I'd have to see what the separation looks like.
The Kara can use the Ha’apax’s costume for free and it can use the Haakona’s costume if that starship is owned. In addition, owning the Kara Advanced Warbird unlocks costume options for the Ha’feh Assault Warbird and Ha’nom Guardian Warbird
Thank you Thank You THANK YOU!!! Thank you my sweet devs. YOU DID IT!!!! For The Win!!!!
Woohoo! Yamato Class! Fire the wave motion gun, err I mean Phaser Lance!
Came for a Wave motion Gun joke, was not disappointed
Lol, ya I was also waiting to see that joke. I might just name my Gal-X Yamato just because now :P
Also, at first I didnt mind all the T6 remakes, but at this point I think we should get two versions of every T6 of an older ship, especially ships like the T6 Galexy, Intrepid and (hopefully) soon to be Defiant. One fully tricked out T6, and another, cheaper, version without the console.

PLEASE, for the love of god, tell me that they've improved the lance's accuracy!!
Indeed! Nothing like lancing a Borg Cube at point blank and missing. I certianly hope we get a lance upgrade and a built in cloak. The most disappoint purchase I have made in this game has been this dreadnought and it's less than super, super gun.
I imagine that scene every time I use the Sheshar's Disruptor wave BFG. While not quite as amazing, it at least is a wave motion gun. Same applies for the Phantom's and Faeht's mini-lances.
Does Kolasi Siege Destroyer get Cruiser Commands? Attract Fire and Weapons Systems Efficiency would be handy. Or does it not count since it has 'Destroyer' in its name?

There's no precedent for a 5/5 Federation cruiser. If the Romulans can get a dreadnought with 5/5 in the form of the Scimitar, it's extremely logical that the Federation counterpart should get at least one of those things. At the moment, if anything the so-called dreadnought is closer to the Haakona. What's unreasonable is simply rehashing the same ship while not bothering to remedy the shortcomings of the original.
The Scimitar isn't a Cruiser. It's a Warbird. It's a Dreadnought. It's not a Cruiser.

It not only has "Destroyer" in its name, but it probably also has a Commander Tactical seat and no more Eng and Sci consoles than Tac.
Question for @pwlaughingtrendy in you happen to have access to the info:
Will the Kolasi (T6 Guramba) Siege Destoryer come with it's own new Nausicaan fighters?
Indeed. The Kolasi comes equipped with Nausicaan Stinger Fighters. Improved versions of these fighters are available in the Dilithium and Fleet stores.

Albeit nice to see a nausicaan ship finally being able to load nausicaan technology. The whole specialization and ship mastery system has killed all aspects of being able to play alts in this game. So that being said I would have to pass on this.

I hope the Kara Advanced Warbird comes with some new romulan fighters too or at the very least please let us equip the drone ships from the Scimitar.
Yes! My Nausicaan thanks you all - this is a great day for Non-Klingon KDF characters; I can only hope that soon we'll see T6 Orion and Gorn ships as well...
Here's hoping for a T6 Nebula/Phalanx/Ha'nom pack and maybe a Heavy Cruiser/Dacoit/Ha'feh flight deck cruiser pack, since the Constellation has all those hangar bays... if the hangar bay is on the Ha'feh part of the T6 Ha'apax model, anyway.
I guess I will have to wait until I see it in-game to see the top of the Gal-X saucer.
Here ya go.
Hmmm. Well, at least the Main Impulse Engine has been divided in two, to allow for the fact there is a Warp Nacelle Pylon in the direct path of a CENTERED and SINGLE Impulse Thrust Exhaust Port. And for that, WE Thank You! ;D

The T5U Galaxy-X lance might just miss that planet size meteor.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
The three ships in this set all look amazing but the final judgement will be when we see the stats.
I was surprised that the Guramba had a T6 upgrade here, though - I expected it would have been the Vor'Cha.

Very tempted by the Kara, stats permitting. I can see the mastery trait and Command seats (?) being very nice additions to the builds I'm already using for the T5 version on a couple of characters. Only downside would be that my Reman has a disruptor build, so the Plasma Lance wouldn't be that useful on it unless I replace all my Tac consoles with generic Beam types.
Don't really have any existing characters that could use the other two, fantastic work on the models though. The Nausicaan ship with it's "transformer" mode has always been a fave of mine.

Wonder if, with the Kolasi, they've fixed that problem the Guramba has with losing color schemes when it's transformed... You know, you add purple and green detailing and it's fine in 'destroyer mode', but transform to 'seige mode' and it loses it and reverts to the default looks...

Great way to ring in the era of peace and exploration by the announcement of more boring warships. Science ships or you get nothing from me. T6 Varanus?
But... but... but... I just bought a Hestia last month!
And I just bought the Morrigu last week. No regrets.
When it comes to buying or upgrading ships, Star Trek Online is no place for the faint-hearted.
