The United Hamster Local #1 has filed a grievance against the use of tribbles in the power generation system that is supposed to be 100% (union) Hamster Powered.
Until the situation is addressed, the hamsters will be doing... hamster-y things...

My launcher updated, now I'm getting a critical error CTD calling out some graphical driver kernel. Keeps asking to verify files. Does so. No updates or errors just onto a load screen that stops at 75%, then CTD.
Tried restart, start in safe mode, updated my driver.
i can login but i cant move on the sector map. i cant even move things in my inventory. not many messages about server not responding. even if, its gone after 12-15 seconds. then i randomly disconnect from the server after a few minutes

Just got kicked from the game && account server timed out the first time I tried logging back in, looks like second time made it to char select screen before being kicked again.
On third try now, on char selection screen && took about 45 seconds to load up the different character portaits...
This is why you can't use union tribbles for the warp core :P

I'm having issues with the Arc launcher trying to update, and failing about 2/3rds of the way through. I don't even get the ARC screen, just the "Launcher is trying to update" thing, then "ARC has encountered an error while updating. Please try again". Well, I've tried about eight times now. If it had worked by now, I wouldn't be here.
Been getting this since noon est today when trying to get logged in was working fine all morning, got DC'd at noon and then this error ever since. all drivers are up to date... I guess no STO today.

On an alt Delta Recruit and running a mission. In the middle there is a map change and I DC. Cryptic error report comes up, the first few times I canceld. It closes out, I try to exit Arc and relaunch, but it says something is running. I have to go to Task Manager to end Cryptic error report, STO, and Arc. When I relaunch and try again, it DCs me everytime. I have found my main character can map move with no issues. Today, I patch and the same thing happens.
When I let the error report send, it just sits there, not doing anything for as long as 10 minutes.
Does this help? I have screen shots if that helps explain.

Yep, I am in the same boat. Caches dumped. Drivers checked/reloaded. Recent new software (Since the last time the Arc Snowflake software crumbled)uninstalled. still the same registration server timeout and DX graphics errors I get every other parch or so......
I am wondering if it is time to start investing in a new hobby with a much better customer aware company, maybe see if ******** has anything new........

My problem too, my system wasn't changed so something broke in the patch.

Yep - got a Server not responding - kicked to desktop; and on releaunch (after the Trying to Update server pop up and about 2 to 3 tries) just get a black launcher window with "Loading Please Wait..." and I have waited up to 5 minutes with no progress.
This has been happening intermittently since Tues. 4/7 - and I assumed it was just Cryptic's ISP unable to handle the load what with the DR Event for STO and the launch of the Elemental Evil expansion for the NeverWinter game. I guess PWE is being 'sting' in that they didn't want to up capacity for the launch figuring numbers would be back to 'normal' after a day or two.

With thinking like that, no wonder PWE is losing money for PWI. Hell, when this stuff occurs, there's hardly a comment by anyone in the CM team. interesting as when it occurs it's across all Cryptic games leading me to believe there is a Network issue of their end the engineers have zero clue about/or are told not to comment by management or something.
No0 big deal to them I guess - but if I were a new player seeing this, I'd just drop the game and not bother with it again as the company seems to not want to address major issues publically unless the entire playerbase can't access their games.

How disappointing. Kicked from the game about an hour and a half ago, well within business hours for Cryptic HQ, and not only is there no resolution but not one post from Cryptic personnel regarding an issue that was allegedly resolved now several times since Tuesday. Maybe you guys should start by changing ISPs or increasing your bandwidth with your current one?
I think it is a issue with a switch somewhere. I have read about a lot of people having issues with logins but I have not had a issue today at all. go figure.
