Like many others, I've been hit with this as well... the launcher hangs at the 'Logging in, please wait...' progress bar.
Launching the game via the GameClient.exe for either Holodeck or Tribble gets me as far as the login screen, but won't progress beyond that due to a failure to connect to the Account Server. I was in-game for an hour or two before this, but the last half-hour or so of that time was spent waiting out consistently long 'Server not responding' periods, before being dropped from the game completely.

Ok this is the second day in a row that i can't get into the game and after read this some of the post there others who have been blocked from logging in longer then me.
I have filed the reports with the Cryptic crash window. I have ran anti-virus, malware, driver updates, windows update, and have done the general system cleanup; and everything has come
back clean. As a player of the game i have done everything i can do to make sure that the problem is not on my end. Here is the issue that i am having.
Cryptic screen had approx. 1/3 of the bar completed and the screen went black and the
game quitand dropped me back to the desk top with this error message.

This is Cryptic, both STO and Never Winter do this load ERROR. Other games on ARC, not Cryptic, load without any difficulty and work as intended.

After waiting all day for Cryptic to figure it out. I completely uninstalled the entire game. Now, I am reinstalling it. Hopefully this will work since we really haven't heard from them what the problem is or might be. So, I figured I would problem solve and start at my end. Since we know the issue isn't isolated with just me, I figured if this does work it should work for others too. Is it a pain in the butt? Sure it is, but so has waiting all day and hearing nothing and still not being able to log in. It all stinks, and the problem is probably (just a hunch) going to be something on their end. Rather it was bad programing or a faulty server. Either way, I am eliminating excuses and possibly giving them a clue bird as to what the issue really is and where it is.

#102 I would not recommend that, the patch server is having issues and that is as big a download as the game itself. You could end up with an unpatched download until this is fixed.

Full reinstall done, and still same issue, won't go past the launcher.
issue is with the account server, and since the launcher itself is a website being run on an emulation of internet explorer, if the account server is down, the launcher either won't run, or function properly.

Now I am able to get past the Patch issues even though its going super slow. I get all the way to pick which toon to log in with and it will time out with a "Login2_Timeout" error every time. Any Dev's on right now that can update the status of the login issue? It would be helpful even if its a "we are still working on it" kinda update.

I swear you do this on purpose.
When ppl have time to play, game first becomes VERY laggy, and after a short time, its disconnect / server issue.
You are having this issues on a regular basis.
WHAT ABOUT FRIGGING fixing them finally for once?
Players money are OK for you, but to provide a reliable service is not, huh Cryptic?
If any business application run with the availability / performance you have, it would be out of business soon.

This is Cryptic, both STO and Never Winter do this load ERROR. Other games on ARC, not Cryptic, load without any difficulty and work as intended.

After waiting all day for Cryptic to figure it out. I completely uninstalled the entire game. Now, I am reinstalling it. Hopefully this will work since we really haven't heard from them what the problem is or might be. So, I figured I would problem solve and start at my end. Since we know the issue isn't isolated with just me, I figured if this does work it should work for others too. Is it a pain in the butt? Sure it is, but so has waiting all day and hearing nothing and still not being able to log in. It all stinks, and the problem is probably (just a hunch) going to be something on their end. Rather it was bad programing or a faulty server. Either way, I am eliminating excuses and possibly giving them a clue bird as to what the issue really is and where it is.

issue is with the account server, and since the launcher itself is a website being run on an emulation of internet explorer, if the account server is down, the launcher either won't run, or function properly.
It's ongoing and more frequent with the increased weekend load.

Maybe I can try again NEXT weekend. For those of you who are on all the time, this is but an inconvenience.
Now I am able to get past the Patch issues even though its going super slow. I get all the way to pick which toon to log in with and it will time out with a "Login2_Timeout" error every time. Any Dev's on right now that can update the status of the login issue? It would be helpful even if its a "we are still working on it" kinda update.

When ppl have time to play, game first becomes VERY laggy, and after a short time, its disconnect / server issue.
You are having this issues on a regular basis.
WHAT ABOUT FRIGGING fixing them finally for once?
Players money are OK for you, but to provide a reliable service is not, huh Cryptic?
If any business application run with the availability / performance you have, it would be out of business soon.
