"I don't think we can withstand any more feels, sir!"
It's difficult to describe how much influence he had on me. I've seen a lot of tributes today, some very well written, and most heartfelt. But this simple pair of screencaps hits me hard. We're running out of people to fly the missing man.
Live Long and Prosper, if only in the memories of those you have left behind on Earth.
With one of my fleetmates (who is the guy closer to the camera)
With another one of our allied fleets; everyone wore black for this.

[Disclaimer]:
In light of the recent events... Tho I myself isn't a trekkie that much... I decided to write a decent homage to a man on both in lore and real life...
Ad Memoriam
We humbly ask not only our fellow Vulcans, Romulan Bretheren, But also all the species of Galaxy no matter what shape and size you are,
To Honor a being that has surpassed beyond a union of human and Vulcan. A being that transcended beyond petty politics, racial lines, and probably time itself In his simple message of Peace and Unity; regardless of how hard the path was
He was a man of inspiration not only in his home world of Vulcan, but all across the quadrants, that he helped to forge and create A man whose efforts should not be, and will not be forgotten by the beings who dare follow in his footsteps, a man whose efforts will echo through time. That nothing is impossible, no matter how odds are stacked against it
Today as we only not lay his mortal body to rest, but we will help ensure that his ideals wont perish with it We must Carry on his legacy that molded our not only the world around us but we as living beings This just a simple homage to a great man; too great even for just mere words even to describe
I've heard rumors that the KDF has even threaten to invade Vulcan, in order to pay their respects... Since the Federation hasn't granted them a diplomatic pass to do so...
With the new monuments added, I decided to go to Vulcan again.
Kirk: It's a far, far better thing I do than I have ever done before. A far better resting place I go to, than I have ever known.
Marcus: Is that a poem?
Kirk: No. Something Spock was trying to tell me on my birthday. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Thank you to all the devs who worked on these memorials. They are touching and fitting.
