Pakleds outnumber both orions and caitians. The world is ending.

wait...people have HAVE pakled characters? i've never seen one...i swear to the great bird, in over 3 years of playing, i have NEVER seen a single player pakled

and what's the percentage of players who have male orions? or doesn't it break down by gender?

My question as well. Considering that huge number, it's probable that the number of pakleds etc is inflated by alt accounts, possibly even bots and so on that would never bother unlocking a paid species. So I'm sure the true number of active caitians is more than the active number of pakleds.

You are looking at false statistics. Benzite, Bolian, Pakled, Rigelian, Saurian, and Tellarite, no one, NO ONE plays those. NO ONE! I guarantee you, every single one of them are all NPCs.

If these statistics include NPCs as well as players, wouldn't Caitians far outnumber Ferasans? There aren't exactly that many NPC Ferasans kicking around out there.

To be fair, I once saw a player Pakled on Drozona, but it was Drozona... You never can tell...

If Kartakin polearms are added I WILL be making a male Tellarite named Space Dwarf the Mighty.

Do one better than that. If polearms get added, you can buy the Vaadwaur robes, and make an Ezio character. See for yourself.

On second thought, you really should buy those robes anyway.

eh, TRIBBLE ezio; i'd rather make this guy, but forehead wrinkles aren't possible as of yet - that i've seen, anyway

also, that particular hairstyle doesn't exist either; there's one close to it, but not spot on

In regards to what I remarked on earlier, some of the Vaadwaur weapons DO in fact have the proper sounds. The Vaadwaur full auto rifle primary fire, and the Vaadwaur sniper rifles have the proper sound for all shots. But everything else sounds like regular polaron. Any case, I do like snipers so pretty happy about them anyway, gave my cait boffs nothing but Vaadwaur sniper/full auto and enjoyed some boom boom shots taking down the voth in dyson Jurassic park =^,.,^=

are those all command powers? you need 10 points spent in the command tree to unlock the ability to craft manuals for those powers, and i don't think anyone's gotten that far yet - at least no one you actually know

EDIT: also, rank 1 & 2 powers should all be available for purchase at a boff trainer, so you should at least be able to get shock and awe 1

i believe those are both part of the list of 'rare' boff abilities that warpdust said weren't going to be included until they could find a 'proper way to introduce them'

which, of course, means dilithium will be involved in some way, as if they need even more of a sink

here's the quote, in case you're interested
One feature that will not be finished when the system goes live is the handling of rare abilities that can only be obtained from rare bridge officers (randomly generated or special mission rewards). We are still working on this feature and will provide more information on it in the future. For the moment though we wanted to inform the community that if they already have these rare bridge officers or obtain any in the future to not delete them. Make sure to keep them and once this feature is complete it will allow players to train other bridge officers with those rare abilities. The details on how this feature will function is still under review and development.

so long as the officer in question is a command or intel/whatever hybrid, yes

to make an existing boff one will require a special training manual, and they're expensive - both to craft and buy

EDIT: well, okay, the specialization qualifications aren't that expensive on the exchange...an intel one is only 375k EC

command ones are far higher, probably because not many have unlocked the ability to craft them yet

I've never actually even been around for a dil weekend I think. But any case the hourly turn in for marks have always been a good income IF only I had the time to play enough, and I haven't been in for almost a week now I think? Guess at this point I'm not even going to try for the anniversary ship or set, I just don't have the time or will to grind anymore like that so I'm on a break pretty much till something interesting comes up again.
