    there's been no interesting news to report lately, except the fact we can now do 3 6k XP R&D projects for the same school at a time instead of just 1 - on tribble, of course, but it will make its way to holodeck soon

    one used to be able to do 5 if all research slots were unlocked, but that so-called 'bug' was fixed a week in to S9.5

    Supposedly, the ability run multiple projects was too much XP, and therefore, an exploit. TOO MUCH XP? Where have I heard that that excuse before?

    They actually said it was an error on their part as it was always supposed to be one project per..but they messed up in the coding and it allowed multiples.

    News Update: I was strolling about Bajor, and saw a Klingon named "Zion Lion." A KLINGON! Ashkrik, you would have a field day with this guy.

    Well, they did admit a long time ago that there are too many queues. Though in that case feeling the need to add 3 difficulties per queue just made it far worse and I think was not very smart, two would have remained just fine, but it could be they are making a preparation to move many more queues into a rotation eventually like the mirror universe event does. I think it's inevitable, it is true, we have too many queues now compared to say a couple years ago considering the player base size and I think that is their long term plan. Only a few core ones for each rep type will remain but many I expect to enter an event rotation.

    I can see starbase defense, cracking the planet, NWS etc, all becoming such. The symptoms are not entirely new, there had always been queues that rarely received attention, but the massive changes and even more missions of DR pushed it over the top. Nonetheless nerfs were the last thing they ever needed to do. Fine, buff the crystal entity some, it shouldn't die in two minutes on a regular basis, but leave the rewards alone.

    DEcreasing the rewards is the exact oppose of an ENcouragement to play. And worse yet, Kang can already be one-hit-killed, but it will now be killed simply by looking in its general direction.

    Was just on Tribble and couldn't get the new Foundry interface to work, flew up to every point in Sirius and Beta Ursae and couldn't get anything to trigger! :(

    Yes you can still access the foundry missions on Tribble, and you can slot them as well as the 'Investigate Officer Reports' as well.

    Also they posted in the Tribble update that the new interface was available for testing, but in my case didn't work.

    In other news, did anyone login to discover you had free specialization points? When I logged in today, Edgar had 3 free points. But only Edgar had free points. None of my other characters had any.

    sure you didn't just level 3 times and forget to spend the points? that's happened to me loads of times already because there's no notification that you have unspent spec points...or that an upgraded item is finished

    No. All I ever do is have the game running beside me so I can monitor the chat and fleet while I am doing real-life work. The only time I ever actually play is because of Chomp randomly inviting me to STFs. I haven't actually played of my own intention since the Wonderland ended.

    So, I got the Fleet Aquarius Light Escort last night and it is a mean little ship. In a Fleet Alert I took it in, I took a Zilant Battleship's hull HP from ~80% down to ~20% in less then 3 seconds due to the Raider Flanking.

    I still have it on there, though I did drop the Aceton Assimilator for one of the two Subspace Jump consoles I own. The Aceton Assimilator is on my Sarr Theln.

    i assume everyone's seen pictures of the new kobali ship we're getting for the anniversary - that kind of design aesthetic is what i'd like to see on potential ferasan ships; it has a vaguely kilrathi look, only far more sleek and less...blocky
