    it should pop up with a login screen where you'll need to enter your account name, password and image verification code - typical account login stuff

    Like after I hit enter after putting in my password that error page popped up. However, tried again and got in - then I needed to enter a browser verification code that was sent to my email. Which I don't have. :mad:

    Well, it says I can't update my email without making a ticket if I don't have access to my current email. So I made the ticket yesterday, of course. I was just hoping there would be a way to make it possible to not have to use a verification code to log into the game, but I guess not currently.

    That email was TRIBBLE only a few months after I got STO in March 2012, I'm surprised I didn't run into something like this sooner actually.

    well, if you can't change your old compromised e-mail address on your STO account to your new one, account guard will keep sending those verification codes to the old one, so you won't be able to grab the one needed for logging on to the game or the one needed for shutting account guard off

    and i can't think of anything else to try, so you're going to have to pray customer service will actually do something about this and do it quickly

    They should be able to verify you are the account holder via personal info like credit card, etc.

    Your credit card? Please tell me that email is not the one tied to your bank account. You should have this tied to a dummy account, just like Steam, and whatever other forum memberships. And by dummy account, I mean it exists ONLY for the sake of the online stuff, and nothing else.

    It was the same email I used for PayPal, but I got on the phone with PayPal customer service and changed the email within the hour it was TRIBBLE so no problem there. Right now it's a completely useless email, and the one I want to switch it to (which I actually have access to) is a spam email.

    I did some scrounging around for a canonical location of Cait and it doesn't look good. Basically the system Cait is a part of (15 Lyncis) sits outside playable space. It's so far from Sol I wonder how Caitians even made contact with TOS era Federation. Cait is also really close to the Tholian border. At least from the sources of various canonicity I've scrounged through.

    Even if it is out of place I don't see why there can't be a Cait or Fera added to the game. They did it with Nimbus being out of place till they did this rework of sector space and it doesn't have to be cannon as there is no cannon as to what it looks like, just so long as there is a marker for each that can be used for foundry missions I'd be more than happy.

    Add to the fact they put in Tellar and Deneb, which to my knowledge were not in any of the series themselves, why can't they put in Cait of Fera?

    they already released the dreadnought as a T5 ship...the battleship is one rank below that, and they aren't releasing any further T5 ships, so that one's never coming out

    There is no reason the Battleship cannot be made into a T6 ship.

    yes, there is...that would be boosting it above the dreadnought

    they might make T6 versions of the heavy escort carrier, battleship and dreadnought, but they're going to be entirely new and modern designs like the strike ship is

    The Strike Ship is just a T6 reverse-engineer of the Bugship. I would rather they put the effort into giving us something new, hence the Battleship.

    It is completely useless. The alarm on my phone got knackered by the time change, and never activated. Good thing I was already awake because I was expecting a professional phone call. Otherwise, I would have been massive late fer werk. :mad:
