A nice free C-store ship. Not necessarily top of the line but a nice one that will save players $20. We're the ones keeping the game rolling, and it will prove that you do care about us all. One ship for each faction.
Seriously, it's been 5 years now, and there are still bugs in this game that have been around since before STO launched back in 2010.
Are you folks familiar with the saying "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth". Free stuff is free stuff.
Doesn't matter that i probably have the give away items already, because it is the thought that counts.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
What I need:
-Some more account bank slots, which are way overpriced by the way, you jerks.
-Two more character slots.
-A rename token for my Klingon, Bol'lox.
-Six fleet ship tokens.
-An upgrade token.
-A lockbox key, or keys.
What I'll probably get:
-A 10% skill boost.
-A 10% fleet mark boost.
-The cheapest shuttle available.
-An uncapping of my already uncapped 10mil EC limit.
-A tribble, because STO knows I hate tribbles.
Keep your free gifts. I'll be exploring the galaxy if you need me.
Woohoo! Happy anniversary STO! And thanks for the free stuff - no matter what is is, whether I have it or not, it's always a great little gesture to the players. I'm sure most of us really do appreciate it - I sure do!
I took a break of about 2 years from the game and came back to it about 6 months ago so I missed out on the 3rd & 4th anniversary events. Which makes me hope that I might be able to acquire a couple of things I missed out on.
I wish to god that the Solanae ship giveaway from last year was an option as I'm finding it nearly impossible to justify spending money to get 800 lobi to get that ship JUST for the 2ndary deflector or whatever it was. LOVE those ships and still use them a lot but wish I had the 4th piece for the final set bonus.
But whatever they end up giving away I'll be glad to get it. Even if it's something I don't really need I appreciate them giving away free stuff. Who knows maybe I'll want it for something down the road.
It would be nice if they would give away Bridge Officer slots. We never give those and they have been giving us BOFFs without a place to put them. And the promised years ago being able to promote our BOFFs to Captains never happened.
So every BOFF they gave away has been "so people will buy the slots in the C-Store"
If you bought the Delta Rising pack, you got 3 BOFFs but only 2 slots. And that's the closest they ever did with BOFF slots.
I hate having to always "red shirt" a BOFF. Killing BOFFs at such a rate happened on the show, nobody would have felt anything when Spock sacrificed himself to save the Enterprise in Wrath of Khan. Actually, I think Game of Thrones has less killing off of characters than STO.

I'm thankful for the gifts. Last few times helped me out. New uniform options, some new ships to play with.
Twice, they really helped me out. The KDF carrier helped me get the idea if I like using carriers. Now I love them. The other was another Sci ship for my future Fed Sci. That being the Nebula. The other time was some consuls. Those come in handy as well.

Can you log on later that day if it suits your timezone poorly and still get stuff?

If it works like the last two or three Giveaways, you log in and go to the Z-Store to claim your prize. Instructions will be given with each item.
Loved the giveaways last time and greatly enjoy my Advanced Nebula retrofit enough that I bought the Tier 3 version as well. Also enjoyed them giving away the Ambassador and hope this giveaway sees the Kamarag getting the same attention.

The DSD (Dyson Science Destroyer) is nothing special though. It showcased the 2nd deflector and switching between two boff layouts, but besides that was pretty lacklustre.
On my fed it's storage and on my klingon and romulan it's a dedicated torpedo boat. For these Klingons and Romulans it's an option because those factions have few science ships to choose from especially science that can cloak.
Maybe the DSD makes a comeback this year, who knows.

I am glad to see someone is listening there. Free give away is great! Nice to see some free T6 ships without any strings attached to them. Something we all can use instead of not using them. I actually own everything there is to buy in the C-Store. That's how much I put into the game over the last five years. Put more in early on than I do now, but the point stands.

Might I suggest in these instances that there is always a Fed/KDF option so either side isn't left out on any given day.
I probably own most of the C-Store stuff though, unless it's been released in the last year.
