    The worst thing about it for me is the lack of communication.

    We are left to speculate as to whether or not the problem is on our end or server side.

    I spent over 1.5 hrs today trying to figure out what the deal was/is. That includes time spent watching the forums for any posts of similar problems or a post from the Cryptic team.

    If Cryptic wants a better reputation with the player base then I suggest that they learn to communicate. Otherwise we are left to our own devices....so to speak.

    Thank goodness they had a server stability update for the past few weeks.

    This is happening:mad: to all Cryptic GAMES. Tried NeverWinter and same issue cannot connect to the launcher

    FFS as if the servers crashing wasn't bad enough now i gotta wait 2 mins in between posts WTF :eek:

    I rebooted and connected to the Patch Server, but now account server not responding.
    Glad they did Maint. a day early.
    Was just about to spend my Steam Bucks on a couple of T6s.
    Hope they notice before Monday.

    I worked it out the patch improved player balancing per shard to improve performance.

    No one online= server performing great!

    got booted from game. then account ticket failure. now cant even get launcher to connect. great stability update cryptic, u really hit your thumb with the hammer this time (though the nail is still sticking an inch out of the board u were supposed to hammer in)

    Before the patch, the players were getting 17x the stability they were supposed to be getting!

    No, I would guess this is because of the freeloading host provider they use having their plugs yanked out of the free pipelines the real ISPs around them provide.

    I've been off the game for 3 years....logged into play free for a couple days, just rejoined the subscription....and now this..... The patcher can't authenticate.... :(

    According to the National Weather service, California (Where the servers are housed) is experiencing a winter storm with freezing rain. This is most likely why the servers are down.

    Just ran a tracert to the patch server and it did go through so there's got to be something wrong with the patch server itself.

    I keep telling them that tribbles just aren't a cost effective replacement for hamsters, they can't keep the wheel spinning fast enough.
