Dragon age: inquisition (PS3), Elder scrolls series(PC), fallout series (PS3), star trek armada 2, Diablo 2 (PC) and 3(PS3), Star Wars: empire at war. quite a few, yet I would not replace one for the other, Despite all the issues I'll still be on STO and NW, I honestly invested far too much to just turn my back on them:)
I recently dropped $60 on the New Millennium Editions of Diane Duane's Young Wizards series. I don't care how old you are...if you like Diane Duane's Star Trek novels, you MUST read these.
The New Millennium books also (mostly) bring the really old ones up to date so there aren't jarring technological changes from book to book when only a few months of in-universe time are supposed to be passing.
And remember A Wizard Alone? Remember the offensive characterization of an autistic character? FIXED. ENTIRELY. That takes guts for an author to realize they are wrong and they need to so extensively redo their work.
But eBooks are a much more solid investment. Electronic goods only but if you properly back up your files you'll have them forever, and because of how large the industry is, backwards compatibility for a long, long time is likely guaranteed. No waking up in the morning and finding your books have gone poof or been locked where you can't read past Pg. 50 without hitting an obnoxious paywall.

I'm not really a big fan of MMORPGs, I try to avoid them, they usually end up being massive time drains with lots of long projects and little actual entertainment. I have real-life projects and dont need vritual projects, so I'm mostly interested in raw gameplay (which STO used to provide with the end-game PVP, oddball as it was).
Since DR release, I have been primarily playing MechWarrior Online. MWO is not an MMORPG, its a tactilcal role-based FPS where knowledge and skill are more important than gear, but its a little thin since its just arena-style combat and basically nothing else.
I will probably buy ED and play that for a while, but I need to test hardware compatibility with a demo first, since my rig is a little old.
I also play Discovery and Star Conflict sometimes for space pew pew, but not often anymore.
a few threads have been merged together as they are all pretty much the same

that PBW forum thread had the DL link for the latest version.
I know. So did the news post I found long before the PBW thread. :P (Not that I didn't end up using the link on the PBW website itself - yay for deciding to use the THIRD place that comes up!)
Edit: I must say, I was expecting at least one Voth ship from the Voth shipset... :P
Interesting. Is this game for a PC and can I just install the mod and play it by itself?
Yes, and yes. Sins has a fairly simple mod installation and toggling mechanism; I only have Trinity, but I doubt Rebellion changed that system up too much.

It looks like I need to buy sins of a solar empire first. The price currently is $39.99. Is this a one time purchase or a monthly thing?

Well, I didn't have an actual Voth shipset to work with so I used something vaguely similar.
Why someone would post a thread to talk about other games and movies in the general discussion forum of this game is completely beyond me. This thread really should be moved to ten forward and OP have some sense of decency and think for moment before continuing to make these insane posts.
... not that I care what you think of me, whatever. However, let's set the record straight, you're an idiot. Can you not read? Clearly, I originally posted this thread in the Ten Forward forum and it STILL remains in the Ten Forward forum! If you bothered looking in the first place you would know that!!! Oh, and here I'll have the decency and sense to post the proof below. You're welcome.
Edit: That said, if you're patient, you can wait for it to go on sale. That'd be a huge moneysaver.
My best friend and I were actually able to get it for only $10! I put in the trek mod and it is awsome, although it keeps crashing but I just have to remember to save as I go along. Disabling the mod is another story. Whenever I click disable mod, it goes into an endless loading cycle or flat out doesn't work.

I know, but I fail to see how PBW is relevant when you've posted a news update on the topic with a download link.
Edit: That said, I do have a sudden, inexplicable urge to try joining that game you linked...
