With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
I think the Devs should have gone to a lot of work to do the expansion, and i respect that, and i think the missions (with no patrolling) are quite good! They done a good job actually.... But i could not resist into joining the game

I want to underline this statement.
Given all my latest hate towards the game, it could be very easily forgotten that I actually enjoyed the first few days of DR pretty much.
The missions are, imho, well done, and the level gap between them didn't bother me because I loved to do Tau Dewa with friends and strangers.
Everything changed when the Firenation attack... eh.... everything changed when the devs shut down Tau Dewa. From that point on forward, the game began to get a negative spin for me. I always spoke out when I saw problems in STO, but it never was so severe. Escalation after escalation let me to this point.
Japorigate, XP nerf, pet nerf, Dilithium nerf.... and here we are.
I never liked some higher ups at Cryptic since I listened to their interviews and read their (few) posts on the forums, but I very much respect others like Taco or CrypticCat or Frost, or even our Community Managers (although I miss Brandon).
I know how it feels to put much work into something and then it is mocked by others. So I just want to say to all those Devs reading this (if there are any), that I (and I think many more) really want to love you and your product.
We are among your most loyal customers. The fact that we don't agree with every decision until it is too late and the game is totally destroyed for us, does not mean that we do not respect your work on DR.
This thread is not an insult. It is a creative way to vent discontent.
And if the whales and a player majority with other attitudes really are making DR a financial success for you, I want to tell you that it was fun. But I can't follow you and your product down that road. That is why I am here, trying to make my opinion known.
