Oh god... Talespin... That was another good one. I'm half tempted to grab that song and listen to that while zipping through the Vault or something when the server is stable again.
also some random low level person is registered as being online in my fleet's roster like 24/7 despite never levelling up and never talking, and has no location listed. maybe server is glitched a bit?
No, that is a user who died in RL and now lives on in the server.... When their ghost gets agitated due to scheduled downtime they start going bug-nuts and begin using up server resources due to the "virtual poltergeist" effect.
The longer the Maintenance lasts the angrier they get after things come back online....

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
If your servers are vomiting *before* your big patch, you might want to fix things *before* deploying said big patch. Just a thought.
The servers are Bulimic you see, they feed them a bunch of yummy code during maintenance and then when the servers come back online they look in the mirror and think they now look fat now and then decide to purge out all the code that was added....

I send three purple diplomats on a simple gift exchange and they blow it...
I send three white bartenders on a three day wilderness training exercise and the crit it...
At the end of you signature you need to add, "Ah, the power of Booze!"

I use Rogers internet in Ontario but when I asked in zone if I was the only one I was flooded with replies to the contrary.
Please fix this as it is so not fun which your game so totally is! *hint* use some of that delta quadrant pack money and buy more/new servers =-p not telling you how to do your job but suggesting how you should do your job. =-p
totaly the game is unplayable....... in all pvp zones u see the disconnect kill. Kinda fun but very fustrateing to the player being disconnect. Other then doffing and chatting the game is really really really really really unstable. I never seen it this bad in years if ever please fix
Devs where busy admiring the vault they had build for all the cash they will rake in with DR so they forgot to feed the tribble that keeps the server going. They buy a new one eventually when enough people buy zen.

"I'm sorry, we can't approve this construction permit. Your area isn't zoned for giant-money-bin construction."
It'll get fixed. These things can take time however. Its not like they can flip a switch and boom. Problem fixed. PWE did network wide maintenance, so its not just STO suffering right now.
Its very possible that they are having internet issues they cannot control. If any of you were present for the livestream today you would know that. The livestream was cut short by an hour because they lost internet at their offices. Its not at all unlikely that it is happening for the internet of the servers as well. If they have Comcast I wouldn't be surprised that their internet is messed up. Comcast is horrible with things like that. If they do have Comcast I would suggest changing providers, which they might do regardless. So lets not rebuke cryptic/pwe as its very possible its not their fault.

Yes i know that the problem is probably on Cryptics end based on the info being said/posted by everyone else. But rather then getting into petty arguments over if i'm the problem or if cryptic is the problem i'm just going to go ahead and post up my tracerT.

Actually its probably not pwe/cryptic. Its probably the internet itself from the provider. They lost internet today at their offices during the livestream. Its very possible that they cant do a darn thing about it, and have to wait for their internet provider to fix it.

Sadly in STO you have to pay 1,000,000 dil to get dangerous
Nothing is impossible to him who would try.... except getting cryptic to care about pvp.
so going from 3 servers to 1, is a maintenance?
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
wouldn't that be ZEDen, then?
They need to go out and run the "Infected:the Ham-do-it" STF in order to collect enough nano-probes to fix the thing.
Poor little Hammy is running as fast as he can....
spin it! spin it again!

Open your your wallet
Buy some zen

(Ok not very good at song writting)

For sure, specially since it is what powers devs decisions in STO apparently

Still better than the new items upgrading system

Poor little guy why dont cryptic ever listen to the warnings
"I'm sorry, we can't approve this construction permit. Your area isn't zoned for giant-money-bin construction."
"Also, you're a duck."
Please fix it.
