Server lag/disconnect Sept 18th-19th 2014

Having really bad issues for the past 2 days. I can connect pretty much fine but then huge lags, followed by server not responding for 30 seconds at a time, and tonight a lot of disconnects.

I live in the Philadelphia area, use Comcast/Xfinity

    If your servers are vomiting *before* your big patch, you might want to fix things *before* deploying said big patch. Just a thought.

    Oh it is most definitely coming from down their end, as it won't even relay the information for the login screen.

    They already had, a huge crash to their systems earlier today!

    No other game is effected on my end, internet is fine, playstation4 running perfectly on their network, Netflix running smoothly, everything I test with runs flawlessly except STO.

    hops 5 and 6 on my end, asterisks is normal far as I can tell...had no issues for 5-6 months before today.

    You should really take care of what you say, because you start to really insulting people by thinking they are more stupid than they are.

    Any old player know this game have server issue, it getting worse since LoR and the release of NWN. Dozen of player prove it and was tired to help because of people like you.

    So now yes it can be a player side problem, but with the amount of problem, with the game history you perfectly know is a cryptic issue.

    Look what happen now after 4 hours of server maintenance the game is down and it's impossible to be connect. good to see you still want people think is only on your side the problem

    So please stop think player are stupid.

    they in general started tinkering with it. works fine all day most days...maybe once in a great while get a random disconnect. no big deal all u do is log back on but now ive been dropped about 4 time in less than 30 minutes so what gives?:confused:

    anyways going to try logging back on again if it work fine if not i'll just go play on my lvl 48 bounty hunter on KOTOR , War thunder, world of tanks, or one of many other games I have heck I might just fire up Freelancer and try and get it to work on my newer computer again for the 50th time.

    also some random low level person is registered as being online in my fleet's roster like 24/7 despite never levelling up and never talking, and has no location listed. maybe server is glitched a bit?

    Got disconnected, via no response from server twice earlier, now it is stuck on the loading please wait inside login window area....

    I got disconnected, and now I cannot even get the Launcher to load. And I didn't have any problems at all until AFTER the network maintenance. Before that, everything was working perfectly.
    I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

    yes, cryptic did something with today's patch.. the launcher stays stuck on the loading please wait and may or may not give the login dialog portion of the launcher.... must be a nice cushy job to work at cryptic!
