How often do you use ARC apart from being on STO???

How often do you use ARC apart from being on STO???
Personally I only use STO and think that ARC is a waste of time and space on the computer.
Surely theres a way to be rid of ARC?
I hope if theres majority feedback about not liking or wanting ARC,then maybe just maybe cryptic will listen to us.

    I don't even use Arc to launch STO :P I've still got the old launcher program from Beta, along with my discs.

    I tried Arc but I wasn't much of a fan. Didn't like the interface nor what it was doing to my computer.

    I think of the two dozen or so times I have tried to play through Arc it has worked maybe four of those times. I just make a shortcut from the game's folder after Arc installs it and use that.

    I use ARC on my laptop, which I needed it to install STO. And don't use it too often.

    But when I do, I do find it to be troublesome and annoying. It lags STO, especially when you get those annoying popups. Who cares if my friend is on, I can already tell with the in-game pop up that says X had logged on. :rolleyes:

    But after STO is up and running, I Alt Tab to Arc and close it. Then things run smoothly.

    Arc will never, repeat never, be installed on any computer of mine, period.

    I bought STO through STEAM, I will continue to download and us it through STEAM. Actually, you can run the client independent of STEAM, which I do.

    I use it everytime there is a giveaway. Rest of the times its off, and STO is started directly from launcher.

    never used arc, never will. steam is where it's at.

    the only reason i can think of to use arc, is if you don't know about steam. or perhaps if your're afraid of awesome.

    To be fair, I deleted it the second I installed STO.

    I despise gaming content managers like Arc, Origin and Steam. I want my pc to run as little programs at once as possible, and these add nothing to my gaming experience.

    I run a VirtualBox install with W7, where I installed Arc to test the traffic... I found some of the data transferred... suspicious... so, it never left.

    Steam is what I am using.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    I never used Steam. From what I have seen Steam is in black and white and Arc is in color. What are the other differences?

    Steam user.

    Steam is just a massive convienence. Not only can you get STO through it, but its also a good palce to get discounted games as well.

    Not to mention you can use steam wallet to buy Zen.

    Its hitting way too many birds with one stone.
    I'm fine with this.

    Pretty much this. I still have it installed in a VM on my server, but it only gets opened for the free stuffs.
    Even then, it is blocked from sending any data. ;)

    I still use the good old launcher that came with the STO beta in 2010. I have ARC installed on a crummy old laptop under my bed that I fire up if there's an ARC-only promotion so I can get it and that's it. ARC will never touch my desktop.

    I never use Arc as it doesn’t work and stops me being able to buy ingame items with ZEN. Talk about a system that hurts the game.

    Installed it, used it to get the freebies, then just used launcher from then on. Made sure I removed all plugins and other ARC installed fluff. Not touched it since.

    I've noticed that devs have been deafeningly quiet about ARC for some time now, then again it does seem that they don't like using the forums much now.

    Sadly I have to use Arc, because I also at times play Neverwinter and I also play Swordsman. Only way to get to swordsman, is through Arc. :(

    I don't normally use Arc to play STO, but I do usually login to Champions via Arc.

    i dont use arc ever if it can be helped until there is no choice between steam and arc, il go steam and use the cryptic launcher first priority :P.

    Never. I hate platform systems. They are a needless gateway in my opinion.

    I tried it once, when it first came out. Was removed later within that day. I found it, not interesting.

    I dont use Arc. I still have it installed somewhere but never use it. It adds no value to my STO experience and I have no interest in playing any other Cryptic/PWE games after seeing how they operate.
