Pure Federation Carrier

After looking over the ship lists I feel that The Federation is in need of a "Pure" Federation
Carrier. The Federation should not have to import alien tech for it's carrier needs.
Currently we have the Galaxy - X which can launch up to 6 shuttle craft and the Heavy Escort
light Carrier but they are far from being true carriers.
We need a pure federation design like this for our carrier needs.

    You don't think other factions need ships?
    Your analysis shows that the Feds need another ship?

    Oh look this again. The KDF has something we don't and I wantz it so I don't have to re roll, or buy the Atrox. DO it nowz!

    Hell be happy you have the armatage and have the ability to get the Atrox or the Obilesk. Sorry we don't need the same thing over and over again.

    Want a carrier THAT badly, KDF is ->

    What a day would it be without someone demanding a new fed ship.

    Of course it's not like the federation shipyard does have a hundred ships, just 98 (with all the refit, fleet stuff, small crafts not included). Why should Cryptic add ships to the Klingons (74) or the Romulans (43!) at all when clearly the federation is in dire need of playable ships......:P

    Bout to delete one of my 3 feds and switch it over to KDF or Romulan.

    Jem'hadar carriers
    Tholian Recluse carrier


    I'm sorry, are we playing the same game, or are you stuck in 2010?
    Feds have access to the best carriers in game, why would you want a new, lesser one?

    We have a pure carrier.

    Pure carrier= 2 hangar bays.


    Don't need another ship.

    He's just whining because most are not fed exlusive and he probably hates the other factions.

    And the picture of "his" ship looks like some montage workers lost the plans while bulding a Sovereign-class ship and had to improvise after that. :D

    The only confirmed loss has been with the BortasQu. No other information about other KDF sales has been given.
    The Mogh may have been a good profit, as the Garumba too. Both have been bought by a lot of players
    Only the Devs can say that all KDF ships have or have not lost money.

    It's a Sov with an infection... a Starship Transmitted Disease (TRIBBLE) ;)
    I think the EMH and Geordi are working on a cure :D

    Three out of four of those are lobi ships available to everyone, and the Atrox is not a Starfleet design. It's a donation from a member planet that decided to keep independent space warfare capability instead of having their forces absorbed into Starfleet. Starfleet designs are flying spoons, not giant blue TRIBBLE.

    Valid Points. Do the KDF and Romulans deserve more ships? Yes. Does this affect the need for a federation carrier? No. I would be happy with a single one, honestly. Lobi ships, do not count obviously I know they are available to everyone. So that leaves the atrox....so one carrier? Come on, if you guys had ONE carrier, you would complain as well and frankly I would support you if you did.

    Don't let your desire for more ships of your faction, which you may rightly deserve, cloud your emotions. The fact is, the feds have one carrier, they could use another. Maybe a more tactical or engineering oriented one, I don't know. Escort carriers should not be compared to true carriers, they are nothing alike, they don't serve the same roles. DPS =/= support.

    Already have how many fighter capable craft? Granted not dual hanger carriers but the feds have: Gal-X, All 3 vestas, Armitage, Atrox, and the capability of getting 3 more.

    That's plenty of carriers. How many do the KDF have? Well 10. But 4 require a fleet, 4 require zen, 2 of those are not even end tier, 1 is a mirror drop then you have the freebie Vo'quv.

    Roms, have even less. Scimitars and the Ak'rif tactical.

    Personally I really don't think the feds need more, if anybody needs a carrier, roms do first.

    So skipping over what I said about escort carriers obviously, or just decided not to read what I wrote. You better cover up, your bias is showing.

    Starting with the Mogh and continuing with the Dyson ships, ships for the KDF and the Romulans have been re skinned Starfleet ships. So the most likely thing that will happen if they make a new Starfleet carrier is that Cryptic will make versions of the same carrier for the other two factions.

    Will this make people happy? Yes. Will it make them unhappy? Yes. But when has Cryptic ever done anything the players want? They are here too make money, they will do what they think will make them money. If that means making a Starfleet Carrier that launches frigates, that is what they will make, no matter how much KDF and Rom players complain that Starfleet doesn't need another ship.

    I heard from some players here that CBS FORBID a full (2-hangar) starfleet designed carriers.

    And before anyone point out that Vesta, Galaxy-X, and HEC are starfleet design, keep in mind they are one hangar hybrids.

    While we're at it give it battle cloak, its own frigate pets, 8 Weapon Slots, CDR Universal BoFF, and 5 Tac Console Slots :rolleyes:

    The litter box is fine since the 2 best carriers are available to all factions (JHDC and Tholian)

    Lobi or EC - they are on the exchange (that is how I have a Recluse and how a friend has both JH style carriers)
