I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p
This may sound like a really stupid question and I mean no offence in the wording of this, but why do you have to quit just because you're moving back to SoCal, you're only a Community Manager? I could see if you were a programmer or dev artist that needed access to special equipment, etc. but with Skype, e-mail, telephone, and internet why can't you just work from home once you move? Sorry I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but considering how many options there are it just seems a waste that you have to give up your dream job as you've described it.

Either way good luck and good journeys.
To be honest....
I was thinking the same thing. Telecommuting is all the rage these days.
Brandon...it's ok. It's nothing to be ashamed of. If you have been pulled into the glory and the perfection known as Star Citizen, you can admit it, nobody will judge you. /joke
In seriousness though, I will miss you. We've done a lot together. I remember when you contacted me about my guides, and even got me a Guest Blog way back when.
You were PvP Boot Camp's biggest supporter outside of those actually doing it and now we will be losing you as such.
However you still owe me...owe us, wedding pictures, Brandon. We deserve that much at least when it happens.
But I will not say goodbye, instead I will say...until next time.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
I hate to see you go, Brandon. But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. There are some things more important in life than a mere job. And you don't want to miss out on 'em.
We are going to miss you Brandon, I hope PWE continues to treat you well.
I always enjoy hearing your podcasts and seeing you online with community events. That made the game not just a game, but like you said, a community.
Farewell good friend

I think Bran did do that Ferengi you get to punch out in the KDF storyline, though.

So this is what happens when you don't visit STO forums every day?
But seriously, that must have been a really tough decision to make BranFlakes.. But personally I think you made the right one from what you wrote, family IS important to cherish.

I quit threads are against Forum policy.
Therefore, you cannot leave.
What's he gonna do, ban himself from the forums?
That would cause a Forum Fallout, which would trap Bran in San Fran. Preventing him from leaving us.
Hey now, let's not cause Bran to create a paradox. That's my job.
Then it's up to you to trap him here.
Either way good luck and good journeys.

I know we are gonna have to report this thread and have it closed. That Brandon needs to be given a ban too :P
We'll miss you bran. well dont know about everyone else, so i guess i should be saying "I'll miss you".
hopefully you wont be a stranger around here.
I hate to say it.... but im gonna think of you every damn time i hear "Kurland here" "This is Kurland"
Why? Brandon wasn't Kurland.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
