Interesting.
I'll see if I can come up with something for this one.

I enjoyed it, and picked up the ball and went a few more yards with it ^.^
"he's as dangerous as a ferret with a chainsaw."
We're back with Captain Persico of the USS Talon for this one.
I hope to finish the cliffhanger mystery I left Captain Bh'ypiv on, but that might have to wait for another Freestyle or Redux challenge.
Please have a look and let me know what you think. I'm trying a new method of fast-planning my stories and I feel this one might come across as a bit rushed.
And who are these Dewans I hear mention of?
A Romulan Strike Team, Missing Farmers and an ancient base on a Klingon Border world. But what connects them? Find out in my First Foundary mission: 'The Jeroan Farmer Escapade'
Very nice  Can't wait to see who picks up the ball next
I wouldn't've said it came across as rushed at all, it was a really solid entry  I'm really liking Selene's style
Basically, the situation is that, while exploring a set of underground ruins on New Romulus, you and your bridge crew find a massive geothermal plant used by the previous inhabitants of the planet. That is at T4 rep. At T5, you repeat the same mission, only this time, at the end, you get a cutscene of the gateway rising from a set of hidden floor panels.
The Dewans are the previous inhabitants of Dewa III (which is now known as New Romulus (or Mol'Rihan)) who went extinct shortly after activating the Geothermal plant because the plant wnet out of control and caused the massive cataclysm that resulted in New Romulus not being habitable until very recently.
Hope this helps!

Ahh. THIS is what I needed. I have yet to step foot on New Romulus in-game so I have (had) no idea what the story is. By chance, are there any other resources I can use?
I'm thinking reading the walkthrough of the New Romulus mission from the wiki, but I'm also thinking ironphoenix may have summed them all up :P
Just another quick question: Is that plant active again? Or is it still dormant? Do we have any details about how the plant made the world uninhabitable all that time ago?

No problem! Always happy to help out
@grylak:
I do believe the Romulans reactivated the plant, after putting into place some saftey measures so that they don't suffer the same fate the Dewans did. Not entirely sure on that point, though I believe Dev Blog 11 has some more info.

In other news, Sphere of Influence actually seems to be up a day early - and it's rather interesting.
Looking forward to reading it
Oh and yes, Robin Harlen and Hayate Yagami are shipped together. They do become quite the battle couple.
Also, new characters. One I made shortly before the Risian event to take full advantage of the costumes and ship from that.
Very nice.
How soon until you can get your Lyrical Trek saga started for real? I'd like to see how you get the two franchises to work together, as opposed to me, who simply tweaks the Nanoha characters to create local versions in Trek that fit.
I actually posted a thread for it on that a few weeks ago. I do have a few sticking points that I am ironing out and the hardest bit is writing the opening two chapters as I am having to cross-reference both Star Trek and Lyrical Nanoha's canons and physics (ever tried to figure out what can cause TSAB tech to malfunction?) Believe me, not easy to get the pieces to fit but I am getting there and once I get into that, I should be able to do the first Arc up to Hotel Augusta with little issue.
That said, I also got done with playing the mission and whoo boy...it gave me some really nasty ideas for the gang.
Also, still need a piece of coverart. Anyone want to take on the challenge for me?
Very nice, definitely looking forward to how the setting progresses
Very nice  Edosians? Barsoom Tharks?
Neither. I'm remarkably bad at settling on names, so they currently have no name other than Generic Low-Grav Alien #47. Which started off as an offshoot of Octavia, her people and the importance they place on names.
Names seem to be a thing, despite me not actually giving them to a whole bunch of stuff. I should probably do that.
Actors playing them would be:
Admiral Rykon: Sam Neill
Captain Grylak: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson
Commander Berry: Halle Berry (Yeah, I kinda went the real lazy route with her name).

Veleen Takor, my Romulan Character, is assigned to security for the activation gala. However, having been present for the 'Chase' Finale, she knows the danger behind the gates, even if she knows how important it is...
Please take a look and tell me what you think.
Looking forward to seeing more of them in future entries
I really enjoyed that, very nice indeed
I liked it  I suspect there'll be echoes of this in the new story, but to be honest, this is a pretty restrictive challenge, in so much as progressing past the point of activation is pretty unlikely .
Any thoughts on my last couple of entries?
