While STO is down I thought this would be a great time to remind everybody that {UFP} is simply the best fleet out there. Interested to find out why? Then just take a look here and i'm sure you will be convinced!
Its Friday! As always its going to be a busy and fun weekend in the {UFP}. This Sunday is my favorite event of the week. STF Sunday! The fleet will gather on DS9 before breaking off into groups to remind the borg we are not to be messed with!
Indeed, STF Sunday is coming around again... this Sunday. One of the most popular fleet events. It's a time when the borg quake and shiver, as they have to face a fleet of UFP members!
This weekend in the UFP we have many exciting events on tap. Today we have some shuttle PVP going on, it promises to be a good time for everyone.
Sunday we have an accolade hunt going on. I hope to have several groups out there working on there Klingon accolades, and of course. My favorite event of the week, STF Sunday. We had a record turn out last week with 35 captains joining forces to fight the borg!
I am feeling more honest then usual today so I am going to ramble...
There is one question people want out of these threads. Why should I join YOUR fleet? Its a hard question to answer simply, and I am not going to try today. In its place I am going to just spell out why *I* love my fleet and why I am here promotiong us.
Every day when I get home from work, I really look forward to hopping on Teamspeak and catching up with my friends. I may not even log onto STO right away, but I always want to know whats going on in the UFP world. My fleet is my STO family, my fleet is a community of wonderful people, that love to play this, and other games together.
There is never a lack of something going on. If there is no official event running you can just speak up in our chat and a vast majority of the time, a team will form and off to tackle content with your fleet mates.
The official events we run are always a really good time. Aside from events based entirely around content (STF's, Leveling and so on) our event officers find fun things to do with the community. This week Novalance ran an event that amounted to Star Trek themed hide and seek. Fun was had by all that went. Another of the officers runs a weekly Romulan RP Leveling event. FUN is what its all about here people!
The UFP has several sets of holdings, all of them high level, one starbase is Tier 5. So supplies is never an issue for us. I wont ramble on about that topic though.
What I am getting at here is simple, the UFP is a *HOME* for me. I could not picture myself anywhere else. If you want someplace to really be part of a community. Please do yourself a favor and board the shuttle to our starbase.
