Most of what I'd been mail-storing were BOs with hard-to-find abilities/traits (like BO3, A2S3, or Efficient) and extra DOffs (of all qualities), since there's a 400-DOff Roster limit. Anyway, it appears that I have my Missing Items back. Here are some things I noticed while sorting through what had been sent back to me:
While I got items returned to me, I've lost all my actual mail from before the bug. That's disappointing.
I was sending some of the items to an Alternate Silver Account that I have. After sending 20 e-mails with attachments, I could send no more. So the limit isn't so much 100 items, as 20 attachment mails. Once that Alt removed some of that mail, I could send more.
There's no indication that your e-mail didn't get sent (other than the attachments remain in your inventory). There's no UI message like "Attachment mail failed to send because recipient's has reached their limit." That would be nice and informative.
Even while maxed at the 20 Attachment Mail Limit, I was still able to receive non-attachment e-mail (including Exchange Sale notices).
The new limit makes me wonder. I'm allowed to post 40 items to the Exchange. I'm curious what happens if 21+ of those items don't sell, expire, and get sent back. What happens to those over 20 (or if I've already got Attachment Mail)?
Anyway, thanks for fixing your bug Cryptic. Please make an Official Announcement, on your site/in your forums, explaining the Hows and Whys on this new limit and answering questions like the above.

I did not have an inventory of what was in my Mail prior to the change, so I can't be 100% sure it's all there, returned to me. That being said, it sure does appear to be everything, and if I'm missing anything, well... then... I'm not actually missing it. Heh.

However - I am cautiously optimistic in reporting it seems that it was fixed. So -

They killed that some time ago (maybe a year ago), and just recently removed the c-store access from the website. I think they're trying to get those into their little portal app but I never was really impressed with it's functionality.

Good luck to you. Oh, one thing I thought was funny - all the mail comes from 'Lost and Found'. If you don't have mail from them, you weren't affected.
As an aside, the Risa summer event is really worth visiting. If I were you, I would start doing the Flying High missions anyway, just don't start the project to claim the ship. They give you 1 pearl that does an 'unlock the project' project, which finishes immediately, so no problem doing that one. But the summer event runs until Aug. 2, while the ship event finishes 2 weeks earlier than that. It's conceivable they could extend the event due to some bugs that prevented a lot of people completing it.
Plus, you're not that far behind, if you're not opposed to lobi, you can take a chance to buy the pearls you've missed.
As for the other thread, I'll reply to him directly, but this sounds like he's reached the 100 item limit and doesn't know about it.
Anyway - good luck! Fingers crossed you're able to get in and enjoy some STO time. I just cleared a couple hundred or more doffs from my mail, and I'm only about a third of the way through. Done with anything to do with STO for a while.

... They give you 1 pearl that does an 'unlock the project' project, which finishes immediately, so no problem doing that one...
A minor correction: They give you one Lohlunat Favor (not a Risian Lohlunat Pearl), and you are to use that to run the Project that opens the Store in your Events Rep.

I mean even I kept a couple dozen (literally about 20) in my mail, the ones that have certain T3 abilities that are only available on higher quality BOffs, maybe an efficient one or two I hadn't yet assigned to an alt, but I honestly can't think of why anyone would need "hundreds." Are you referring to Duty Officers or Bridge Officers? You posted you had hundreds of boffs, as in the latter. I can fully understand having hundreds of Duty Officers (DOffs). It's the Bridge Officers (BOffs) idea that blew my mind.

NICE, was patching up for the last 3 weeks, and the launcher is now corrupt (again).
*I'm back again .... was so happy to see at least 1/4 to 1/2 of my mail back were it should be * But many items still not were they should be. So i started cleaning out my mail ... being the honest engine i am... now i have my toons inventory full since mail Broke down mid-stream and i can't send items to the toons that should receive them. :eek: With full inventory it is useless for me to even be online till it gets fixed. but of course i can still fly around on risa and do missions since i think 2 of them have 2 slots open
i dont think i got all my mail back.
i am missing a few dozen exchange returns that i was holding off on collecting and putting back on exchange. these emails were per char.. only viewable by that one character that originally put the item in the exchange..
the only emails that were returned to me were ones other people sent me, those were account wide..
also my text emails, 100 or so are all missing.. are we going to get these back??
