Okay fair enough, so which should they use for future/potential model fixes? Chronologically speaking, the six foot Enterprise-D model was the last one used on screen in Generations: http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Galaxy_class_model#Use

Four-footer, the Sixer is graceful but the four has a meaner, stockier, and more television-like appearance that would fit in better with STO imho.
Number one on my wishlist: New FED transporter effect
Number two: 22nd Century Excursion Jackets
Number three: Handheld communicator animation for non-combadge uniforms

I'd love the Galaxy model to be redone, I think its terrible that the Enterprise C (Ambassador Class) looks WAY better than the Enterprise D (Galaxy) which served 7 seasons and a movie. I'd even pay for a redo! Where's the love Cryptic!?

That goes for the Sovereign and Intrepid. The Sov is close but not great and the Intrepid just sucks balls. I've tried to get the devs to look at this before but they obviously can't be bothered.

I realize the ship I'm about to mention is not really a high-end ship, but it needs redoing.

Constitution-class Refit... It looks only reminiscent of the Connie-R. But think of it like this. If you fix her up, you can use the nacelles on the Miranda, and then on a possible Constellation-class. There are possibilities. The nacelles outward sides never glow. The interior ones lit up blue only when warp-drive was engaged - now I'd offer a compromise in letting us decide if we want them to glow or not like you gave us with the Oberth.

I realize that the Miranda, Connie, and Constellation class ships will most likely never, ever, be end-game ships... which is fine; but show that era of ships some love plz!

Also... me... want... Ent-A bridge... Excelsior (variation on Ent-A) and Ent-B Bridges as part of a bridge pack!!! Give us the glorious TOS Movie era bridges, they were superior to all others (except for the neat stained hard-wood console for tactical on the Ent-D).

I'm not so sure if this belongs into this thread, so if not please apologize.

I really like the Regent Class Model, but i find it sad that it doesn't really fit with some other Assault Cruiser ship parts. Before the Regent was released, i was quarreling with the availlable assault cruiser ship parts (for years), because i couldn't find a pleasing (for me) ship parts combination. Now that we have some of the really gorgeous looking regent ship parts i find it really sad that they are mostly incompatible with the other availlable assault cruiser ship parts, especially when it comes to the Regents neck, engineering hull and the pylons (which i like the most).

What bothers me is that when using the Regent Hull and other model necks the Back of the Engineering hull looks really bad. But also i understand this would be hard to do.

The worst thing that bothers mme is when using the Regent Hull and the regent Neck, some saucers are just deplaced, like the Majestic saucer for example.

Here Regent Saucer + Regent Neck + Regent Engineering hull:
    3fc927cd-736f-400b-b2f9-d49c4b7e4ef0_zps9955a33d.jpg

Majestic Saucer + regent Neck + Regent Engineering Hull:
    0a5495be-e213-401b-8295-1b58c941618b_zps5f94c941.jpg

As you can see, the Saucer is to way too much to the rear. This is just a example, Noble and Sovereign Class Saucers have the same Problem. So the whole ship looks jolted (i hope that's the right word).
I think it wouldn't be very hard to re-place the Majestic, Noble and Sovereign saucers a bit more to the front, when combinded with the Regent Neck.
I'm just a layman but i cannot imagine this could take longer than fifteen minutes.

I really hope that some friendly Dev takes a couple of minutes to fix this little problem, i would really appreciate if this could be done, i think it would help really to make this ship have finally some really nice looking alternatives.

    EDIT:
Just as a reference, when using the Majestic or Sovereign Neck, the Regents Engineering hull looks like THIS:
    Sovereign Neck:
    f95f7f51-69d1-4d26-98dd-c7fa9288a968_zps409af491.jpg

    Majestic Neck:
    d9fe8bcf-9e78-4162-bcff-7facf93c72b6_zps1a64ebe7.jpg

I hope clearly visible, the Engineering hulls "strouts" are just choped off, which looks really bad. If not, just try it out in game and you will se what i am talking about.

Btw: Noble Class Neck looks just as bad, so devs pretty please fix the saucer position, when using the Regents neck.
Otherwise there is almost no good looking combination where the Regent Hull could be used with other Assault Cruiser variants, which is a shame IMHO.

    Thank you.

I totally agree. I would pay again for a fix of this ship's model.

And as for the Sovereign, check out my other thread in this forum, called "STO'S Terrible Ship Models". It features a brief assortment of most visible ship problems from the Sovvie, Galaxy, and Galaxy-X.

I always found that the 4-footer model to be extremely ugly. (sorry)
It's pockmarked surface doesn't suit to the Galaxys gorgeous lines at all.

But as long as we could keep the six-footer or the remasterd version, i am all for it!

I wasn't sure if I needed a ss since it wasn't a big error but rather just something perhaps forgotten, but from what I can tell the Rademaker saucer only displays a registry number and no name.

    Winning.
It's what I do. It's what I just did. It's what I'm about to do again. It's being undisputed emperor of an empire that cannot be disproved as the most powerful intergalactic empire in the entire universe; I always win, and everything I've won will definitely be won again... by me. It's my signature move, and thus, it's my signature. Problem, Sonic? Yeah, I mean you, Sonic, because you're being beat up, despite your being super. You can't even hit Shadow back, can you? Nope, he's too strong for you. Of course, I'm not Shadow, I'm the Super Emerald fueled fox that's pulling the strings; trust me, the fight would only be a few frames long if I were in it personally. Oh, and here's something for all you guys thinking you can win Last Post Wins 3.0; trust me, I'll be around a long while after the sun has already consumed the Earth while I sit out with the forum servers on Titan. Yes, I mean Titan... that comparatively little moon orbiting Saturn. It's a nice little place in a version of our solar system where the sun is a lot bigger. I mean, Mars will last longer than your precious Earth, but by then, it'll be one hot planet... and I figure Saturn's moon will be about the right temperate for a super-powered warlord. Oh, and trust me, I packed a lot of rings, and I mean a lot. Trillions, in fact, so I'll never run out of rings to power my super form. Besides, if I start to run out, I can just chaos control more rings into my reach. It's quite easy, really. You should try it. Granted, you'll never have the 7 Super Emeralds that I have in my possession, nor the Master Emerald that I've got hidden away somewhere... absorbed into my body thanks to Sonic logic, but whatever. I win. Again. I'm not kidding, either. Just check Last Post Wins, and if the last post isn't mine, it soon will be. Very, very soon. You can count on it. Seriously. By the way, if you're wondering, there's a really great Super Tails sprite sheet out there... somewhere... by some guy named shadow_91. These sprites are really great. Like, really good. Quality. Just like what I like to see in a sprite sheet. Also, credit to Joe T.E., his Sonic Battle style Super Sonic sprites have a great palette for a Super Sonic being beat up by Super Shadow, who's palette is from a Super Shadow sheet of unknown origin, but it turns out they were "borrowed" from a better sheet made by a certain Domenico. Oh, and the gif is actually a custom made super version of a similar gif, of which there are only 3 or 4 copies to be found by Google, and even then, evidently of an unknown source. Yep, it's one of those things. Stuff people have made, spread around, only for it to vanish and you to be the only person who still has a copy, not even knowing where it came from... like, literally at all. Oh, and anyone notice that Shadow's little chaos snap blast thingies are red and blue now? Yeah, I changed it. Problem, fans of purple? Yeah, I know you got a problem with that one, but you can just deal with it. After all, according to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly... alright, alright, I'll spare you the entire Bee Movie script, just Google it if you want. By the way, ever wonder how your characters would've ended up if they evolved in another universe? Yeah, that. Think about it. Ok, so you probably didn't bother reading up to here, but whatever, here's a surprise for you guys over at ESD (RP) who were crazy enough to read this: Emperor Nat of the mcfreakin' Terran Empire is gonna be right all along! The universe is gonna go BOOM! *Thumbs up to the insanity*
Oh, now don't tell me you want in on all this! Well, ok. Look this that Egg Pawn hanging outside your window, pointing his laser rifle at you, waiting for my next order. He's doing his part. He helps conquer the weak-minded. He roboticizes the weak-bodied. Heck, he even helps keep the useless people from causing any trouble, but you know what? Join. Find the closest Nataran Empire roboticization center near you and join the ranks, before the ranks find you. Oh, I know, you figure it must be so satisfying to know I basically rule the world now, and you know what? It is, but do you want to know the true definition of satisfaction? Well, let me tell you a little story. One day, you see a brand new event. They're giving out boxes that give old event stuff. Your dilithium is plentiful. You buy a whole lot of Phoenix packs on your main, and open them all. You get one epic token. Then, you decide, that since you have all the Breen ships and don't give a damn about the others, you exchange it for an ultra rare, and grab yourself a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and for the hell of it, a Voth Bulwark. You open both, leaving the Bulwark in your vast masses of starships as you jump into the bugship and deck it out, deck by deck, into the most awesome Jem'Hadar ship you can. You fly it. You enjoy it. Eventually, you get bored and leave, leaving the old Bulwark never flown... until later. Your main is long complete. Your new alt main, based off some character you pulled out of nothing just to explain away some starship being in service without the command of your dear admiral, is also complete. Mostly. Their reps and doffs are hard at work, getting you stuff. You realize the potential, and head back for your dear admiral, pull the most Voth themed build you can out of thin air, and suit up in your giant ship in the shape of you know what. You head out... and cause all sorts of havoc. Enemies scream out your name as their very life is drained away by your swarms of Aceton Assimilators. They complain to the devs of your OPness when you revive yourself from death every time you die. Do you show any form of mercy? No. After all, this isn't the United Federation of Planets, this is mother frakkin' Starfleet, where you explore strange new worlds and kick butt never kicked before. Oh, and you realize that I just wrote another speech rivaling your own signature. Cool. Oh, wait, that's just the original draft, it is part of my signature now. Oh, and yes, I am aware that I have become a Canadian Regent; one day, sooner than you'd expect, we'll suddenly decide to take over the world and declare an "alliance", and I shall become it's Regent. You know, like the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the mirror universe of our beloved Star Trek. Oh, who'll we be taking over with? I dunno, maybe [REDACTED], or maybe aliens from outer space. Guess you'll have to wait and find out, won't we? Until then, don't ask too many questions, or else my Breen allies on Titania might pick up on your -- [REDACTED BY BREEN CONFEDERACY FOR REASONS] Also, psst... keep an eye out for flying Tribbles! Also walls. Big, great walls, separating entire continents apart. Walls patrolled by Tribbles. Flying Tribbles. Flying Nukara Tribbles. Don't worry, it's not like they were on Venus with a herd of Tholians or anything, they just like the extreme heat and brutal weather like acid rain and hurricane force winds as the norm. Oh, and definitely keep your eye out on any two-tailed foxes, because if they ain't glowing, they're definitely an imposter. Possibly an Undine, we caught one of those once in my place once. Oh, and if you find a two-tailed fox that doesn't like the cold... most certainly ask him to say sorry. If he refuses, DESTROY HIM WITH A DOOMSDAY MACHINE, BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH AGAINST SUCH AN OVERPOWERED IMPOSTER!

tr;dr, I am winning last post wins 3.0. Thank you for your time.
    Oh, look, an explosion...

Hello. I know this isnt much of model errors and such but i cannot post any threads yet so i have come here to ask.

I am having issues with the base power for all my systems. i have an advanced heavy cruiser and the base power should not be 50. my starship moves slower than a shuttlecraft at full impulse. Is there any way you can assit or know of someone who can assist?

I think now that the Romulan faction has been announced its time to look at the existing Romulan ships really hard. I would like to see the D'deridex and Mogai classes truly be as good as can be and right now both aren't quite right.

The Mogai/Valdore nose should be pointier, some detailing is off and the cannons and beams should fire from the weapon ports on the wings...not from the tips of the nacelles.

The D'deridex has its windows inaccurately placed, wonky detailed on the back of the head and neck.

    http://theinfininte.wdfiles.com/local--files/reman-d-deridex-class-warbird/stti_reman_warbird.jpg

The nacelles aren't right either. And it could use more fine tuning.

Not to mention the underside and some areas have those awful escape pods with the red dots, those have got to go.

From the looks of the newly released screens the D'deridex has been fixed, the only issue left is now the neck may be too short...but its hard to tell without having seen more angles of the redone version of the ship...it looks leagues better though.

I would love to see the Mogai get a similar upgrade.

Yeah it looks loads better now, though the green visor on the beak should be black...its glowing green now which it never did in Nemesis.

I still want to put emphasis on the D'deridex windows though, they aren't very good right now and are invisible at anything but close range...resulting in the ship looking very plain at anything but being zoomed in fully.

Tier 2 Heavy Escort Refit (Thunderchild Class) has windows missing on underside of the saucer section.

It appears that it should have 3 decks of windows on the ventral hull aft of the deflector, much like the Akira, but only the bottom row and badly partial middle row can be seen due to model clipping.

    Hi.
I have 8 active bridge officers (i bought 2 slots with zen) but only 7 bridge officers appear.
I switched to the original Odyssey bridge and they all appear normally. But when i switch back to the Aquarius bridge one is missing.
Also the bridge is relatively empty. A ship that size should have more crowded bridge,
and not have so many empty consoles.
Does anybody now why? It's a bug, or it's something wrong from my end?\
    Thanks

Can we have Bortasqu' Fleet hull material please ? Lets say to get it you have to buy standart bortas.

I really love this material and i bet it will look perfect on monster such as Bortas

And fleet windows with awesome double red light escape pods please <3

Also Fleet and normal Hoh'sus lacks veteran hull material.

Can we have the hull damage updated? So it looks more realistic? perhaps have it on levels.
Like you see force fields, some can have fire. some can have a exploding chain. (hull breach in one place and a explosion across the hull). And most importantly IT NOT REGENERATE! its a starfleet ship not a borg ship! should go to Dry dock or starbase where worker bees fix it

I know model updates really aren't on the devs list of priorities - so ignoring model fixes - I would really, really like to see the Sovereign class and her sisters given hull decals. The starfleet arrow, red stripes, etc - as seen in the movies.

Greathings! The gaming is becaming more and more awesome with time! and a beauty concept art image, but I'm wandering if we will ever guet the ships from the 1st previews of the game and the old concept arts? Those really different or something linke the new enterprise, and that "kan vessel" of the new movie.... ships linke the ones in this images down the post, that are really unique, fat from the usual designs founded in the vessels that we have now...
Yes, I do like a lot nthe ones that we have now, like the Odyssey, Imperial, Armitage and other ones, but would be different guet some ships like those, more uniques.

I totaly agree a lot of the Federation ships needs a facelift so they actually look like they did in the show, for example:

Galaxy, Sovereign, Defiant and Intrepid class and many other but there is one ship that looks not even close how she looked in the game it is hated but I would love to see the a canon Olymic class in the game and not this.

By the way can we please also have the real Nebula class that is basing on the studio model and not this let us save money thing and just rearrange what we have from the Galaxy class because those ships are different.

    http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110728202510/memoryalpha/en/images/5/54/Nebula_class_studio_model_after_refurbishment.jpg

JamJamz and his team are doing a brilliant job in creating canon ships like the Ambassador class please give him the task to rework the existing ships.

This has come up in other threads but it's worth mentioning here in the model error and feedback thread:

ALL ships should have the ability to display your fleet logo/badge in the customization options (the ship tailor).

I don't care if I'm commanding a Ferengi D'Kora or a Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer ... if I want to have my fleet logo painted on the side of my ship then it should show up.

I really don't see why some ships have this option and others don't. It's not even consistent between lockbox ships and C-store ships.

Bottom line, ALL ships should be able to display the player's fleet logo.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

    I have two ship ideas.

    1. A modern skin for the D'kyr class, the Ent series had Vulcan ships of the period with one ring around them, Daniels display showed a three ringed ship, the logical step would be a Venn diagram shape.

    2. The Varanus should be replaced with something that has a Tuatara or Balaur style fuselage.

Edit, re-make the battle damage when your ships skin gets at half health, as well as its borgified appearance so its not symmetrical.

One more thing is aside from a Romulan fightercraft, should the Feds get a new one to replace the Peregrine?
