i got no idea did game is growing but this is stuped.they should shut down servers for maintence until they fixed that either they just get ppls bored and will lose them eventually
every 1 hr there is 5-6000 waiters more...we cant even switch characters.i dont know what they mean under short wait but waiting 1-2 hrs is not a short wait especially for changing charaters.short wait is 2-3 minutes max for MMO game(even there shoulnt be waiting if i gotta be honest).while ingame i dont see more than normal amount of ppls playing only alot waiting to enter and play

I wanted to make my Reman officer today. Since the C-store on the website is not working, I had to wait two hours to log in to my main character, go to the C-Store, buy the Reman, then log out and make him. By the time I got halfway through that queue I had to go to work.
More server capacity please.

It may be an inconvience, but having login queues is proof the game is doing well, and if the game is doing well it will be around longer for me to enjoy.

It could also mean there's a probem with account/character management or the login, so they're throttling down the process with a queue.

3 hours for the que? I'm a gold player and it took me 3 hours of waiting to get in! Why isn't Perfect World putting the money into servers to help alleviate the load while LTS are bashing everyone they can because they feel "entitled" to get in first?

Don't you babies understand that you the server is ***FULL***. Simple. There is no space left for you. Also, just because you pay, doesn't mean that you que before other people who pay. You que with them. Jeez. I didn't think four year olds played this game..

This is not a bug it is the way they setup F2P and gold and life members it's been that way for over a year and a half now.

if you want a Fantasy MMO go to gameforge and play their one its not in Beta its a full blown game, and at least GAMEFORGE know how to run a game properly.

Two hours waiting to move from 25000 to 13000 and then kicked from server. By the time the opportunity for Cryptic to make money from me buying new stuff from the C-store is over I will have moved on to another game with my cash. As a project manager who has done massive server swap projects I can only laugh at the issues Cryptic is having.
Because this isn't 2005, and people don't expect problems like 'server queues' to happen anymore. In fact, this is probably the first time I've seen an MMO with one in at least 3 or 4 years.
As paying customers they're also entitled to complain, and while some may overdo it, I'd say it's better than watching a good chunk of the playerbase start charging back their purchases and/or quitting the game entirely if this keeps up for much longer. Not to say that -will- happen, but if PW/Cryptic doesn't handle this situation properly, it very well could damage STO in an irreversible way.
it could be bad plan to make ppls buy gold or lifetime-yes,but more likely its due to the new patch....since it was released there is problems....slow patching,then "login failed due to unknown reason".if u manage to log in and see there isnt so many ppls playing as many ppls waiting to play,but a company that owns few online games they should be able to handle with that if is due to server capacity or there support team to fix those problems.truth is that after like a day there is new and new problems comming on.next one perhaps will be that all account data will be deleted? or somethink like that.its become worse with every hr since this patch had come
In 2.5hrs or 2 hrs not sure which but around that. Have moved 14000 places in queue 9500 from 23900.
More people getting Gold/Life WONT change a thing. all it does is move people from one point in line to another. The LINE remains. Get enough Gold/Life and guess what happens. They now wait the 3+ hrs to get in. The fix needs to be something else.
I understand the Q that's in place because we wouldn't want another server shutdown. I think they are handling the problem a lot better then they did before and that may be a sign that the company is starting to listen to the players. They have provided updates at every step and have given people a warning when they are bringing the servers down.
There is nothing more discouraging nor distasteful then bashing a company because they were in a rush to deliver something so epic to the players on a deadline that is not of their doing.
Did you ever think that they were hyped about this release and that they want people to be able to try it out as they work out the bugs. Your talking a relatively small company under the deadline of CBS or just released a new movie.
