Going on 5+ hours now of an unplayable game. We just had this experience two weeks ago on back to back days with 5+ hour server down time. When is this going to start sinking in?
if you have to ask that question then you have absolutely no grasp on reality. you have a Q of thousands of people and you want to know where the race is?
the analogy is that i have a ticket for STO... like a ticket to indy 500. it's not like ... i knew they were going to have this problem, and decided ahead of time not to waste my money on a company that can't deliver. i can't take my STO ticket over to blizzard and get in THEIR doors to THEIR club that has no problem letting people in.
the fact i had to explain that SIMPLE analogy betrays your complete lacking of common sense.
I had higher hopes for this patch. This is sad, but I will wait, after dumping this much life and $$$ into it. I am going to get my money's worth out of it. Just hope that PWE/Cryptic can fix this issue (separate servers for separate games maybe...hint hint, cough cough) in a timely manner. Well I am off to see if Tribble works better.
They did beef-up the servers - Dstahl posted about hardware last week. The problem with FTP games is that you don't know if 100,000 new people are going to show up or 1,000,000.
Lol this is the same Bull**** line they used when it was a Sub only game and they had long queues that they did nothing about it was complete horse**** then and it's complete horse**** now.
But it's okay it will fix it's self in the end like it did then just by people saying **** it and quiting

their first launch date had a que like this and then the fallowing day they seem to fixed so you could get in fast.
but in neverwinter que did not last this long.
I been in que for about an hour tops and still in que now.

It just hit 20000 in the queue .......... thats just not good , and thats not a short wait lol , nearly an hour in the queue and im finally under 200......
I see alot of "Im a lifer, I should be in now" or "Was gonna be a LTS, until this happened"
Seriously, all these comments, while it may appeal to your vanity, than PWE will see your one, pathetic cry and reward you for your wait, in reality probably wont happen.
Launches, Whether it be patches or whole expansions, are when the proverbial caca hits the fan. There is no way to completely test ever little feature, or to even predict how the servers will A)Handle the new uploaded content, streaming it around the world to millions of different computer setups. Assuming it does manage that part, be able to accept the THOUSANDS of simultaneous connections queries, and respond to them.
There will be bugs, there will be glitches. Que's on expansion day are a given for most games. Take it no ones played wow? Which makes 2billion a year from SUBSCRIPTIONS alone, with a vast multitude of servers, still having que's this long or bigger on the more populated ones... And yet ya'll wonder why our one and only server happens to have a que..
Go outside for a bit, or watch some tv,
Eventually we'll all get it and life will go on
Also I'm a LTS. Silvers should be kicked from server to make room for LTS.

I've already spent over $100 in the last 3 days on just Star Trek, wont mention what I've spent on Neverwinter. You want me kicked off the server? Real mature ...

No it's not moving. Hasn't moved a single place for me in 50 mins. (note that I haven't payed a single penny to Cryptic and thus this is hardly a surprise for me).
