Brandon, while you're at it, there appears to be some serious issues with missions turning in properly. i've had to click the button to turn each and every mission in at least a dozen times just to get it to go through, and even then I have to sit there for 3 or 4 minutes for it to finally go through. it isn't lag doing it because i'm not getting any at those times. i'd take a look at it
Let's just hope that for when "Keepin' Up with the Cardassians" is released Cryptic will have learned something from this and actually may get the server prepared.
I hope after this maintenance that I will be able to drag my Bridge Officers Traits to my tray, get to see what my weapons damage is, and if not I will be removing this game and I will not play it again. There is a old saying, if it isn't broke don't fix it. Please Cryptic and Perfectworld get hat thru your head.

dang it i was just going for repairs with the rrw ships i love it all i'm not sure what you did but even on low settings graphics it really look awesome the new textures ships everything is great kinda wish the rifle we got was romulan looking instead of you know just normal plasma hope server is back soon

I had that too, I think it's the same problem they're looking into though, too many people, not enough server!

Waste of a night, try waste of a day! I've been TRIBBLE around with this and waiting since 4:30 pm EST, now it's 9:pm. This is becoming a weekly event with this game. Wasn't the LAST 3 "emergency maintenance" updates suppose to kept this kind of thing from exactly happening?!
I know what you mean man...unfornatly worse for me cause I am in UK, So LoR launch 8pm...11pm still patching from 4pm (even though I have pre-patched 3 times this week)..try logging in and finally get in at 1am.......2am emergency maintence.
Now we have this maintence and I know it's only 1hr 30mins...but come on 03:30!!!
Cryptic not everyone in the world runs on friggin Pacific Time!!
The launch should of been staggered like other MMO's...one less stress on servers and two perhaps everyone on Launch day might get a chance of trying out the new expansion.
Always amusing when the "I'm an expert in xxxx" brigade comes out and then says something that contradicts any such knowledge or experience.
Also, how are you able to make any judgment on their value of customer service ethos without 1) knowing the issues, and 2) knowing how many staff are working on it?
Yeah it sucks that people are having issues playing a game that they want to, but what benefit does it bring when people without facts make statements as if they are solid truth?

For some reason my old forum account is erased instead of merged with new one - but I'm in this game since Closed Beta - one thing I can say... it maybe took time, but everything was always repaired and we could in the end play and enjoy the game.
I never understood people who always can do better but never do a thing - just share negativity!
Go to bed and take an hour nap - you'll have better game when return and have fun!:P

well this just sucks... I finally managed to get the Character Creation screen to load correctly and spend half an hour customizing my Romulan, only to have the servers go down with no warning before I could save my character.
Next time post a freakin warning that can be seen while in Character Creation...
So glad I waste so much money into your s-it studio.
I don't think anyone is happy with the situation, but there's no need to be a jerk about it. Besides, no one is forcing you to play or to spend your precious money on the game.
I just found out today is the last day for the Dominion Lock Box and what do I Get?? Down time from the servers..
This is not good, I/We know and expect delays at times BUT when you make a Bad patch why should we lose our chance to get rid of the Dominion Lock Boxes before they are paper weights?
For all those people currently complaining that Cryptic have wasted their day/night/ruined their life etc allow me to get out the world's tiniest violin for you all!

I think I must be desensitized again... although a Warrior cannot let little kinks in an already forecasted problematic expansion/update bother them..

While I agree with the sentiment, you're WAY off base. STO and Neverwinter are shards on CHAMPION ONLINE's server. CO launched well in advance of STO.
