some Flak maybe but some ppl r just down right rude and a lot of them that r saying rude stuff r prob silver players and they prob haven't paid any money so the only ones that should have Flak r the gold members and they can at least be some what nice
Wow Neverwinter people seem to be dismantling the game trying to get it to work.
Why in the name of the Dowd would anyone have multiple games on one server or one set of servers. Each game should have independent dedicated hardware. Interconnected if you want fine, but they should each have their own system and backups, sheesh. This seems dangerous.
Speaking of, remember that duping issue in STO awhile back? guess what they oopsied into NW. Some peoples kids I tell ya.
Myself and my brother who lives on the other side of town were booted earlier and havnt been able to log back in since. Good luck fixing it soon. I never play these types of games but this one is pretty fun!

downloaded 6gb patch on a 50gb conn ... still took over 2 hours for some strange reason
got as far as retrieving characters before kicking me back to log in screen with "connection with the login server timed out" ... tried this about 4 times other response I got was "login failed for unknown reason" or something along those lines ...
uninstalled the game and cleared cashes
re downloaded game and 6gb patch ... surprising quickly this time only took 10 minutes ...
logged in via launcher ... stuck on retrieving character and same rigmarole again ...

even tried run as admin on launch ... disable on demand patching ... force verify and running in safe mode .... nothing seems to work
After waiting more than 2 months with barely contained excitement, imagine my disappointment when nearly everything i try and do on LoR has at least a 1 minute delay. It keeps getting worse too. Now after relogging to see if that helps, i cant even log back in. I keep getting the same error as the other people.
Seriously, i am not going to start raging, but really you could have made sure you boosted the servers too compensate, even if that meant having some surplus in there somewhere. I know you have profit margins but this is so disappointing. SO sad now.
I just want to play it as it should be. Please fix, if you have to take the server down then get on with it!

at the infinity + 1st attempt, i got through the "loading map" screen, fought myself through the "server disconnect" message during the map loading screen, got a patch message at the top left corner, and then i got a brand new error message that says DUPLICATE LOGIN or something like that. unbelievable.
I don't mean to single you out but this is partly why problems are worse. When we all know it's down, why don't we stop trying to log into a game someones fixing and let them fix it. Granted this should've been forseen and granted, they should just disconnect the login server so noone can login and fix the game but trying won't be helping surely?

Sorry but my sides are hurting from laughing. Somehow I'm in no way surprised that this would happen. They didn't plan ahead, they probably didn't expand infrastructure since once the novelty wears off numbers will drop back down again. And here we are, launch day and things are pooched, this company is so wonderfully predictable.
Oh well, Guess I'm playing Spore tonight.

We have tried everything, the smell is so bad that ted, the guy that runs the ships computer core has passed out and things are going down hill. Tried to send a rescue party in after ted, they were never heard from again. I have given the order to abandon ship and had the captain summarily executed for gross violation of health and safety legislation.

For the sake of that I would keep that in a separate protected archive, off site, updated daily. You may lose that last few STFs or that last build, but you'd never lose more than one day of progress.

Star Trek Online @trekonlinegame32m We're continuing to investigate the "login failed for unknown reason" error that some are seeing at the login screen. It's our top priority.
I spent all morning waiting for the update to download. and it got to 128mb left and crashed. then I spent the next 4h downloading 128 freeking mb. I finaly get to get into the game and it kicks me out and now I can't log in. all it says is connection to the login server timed out. this is really starting to make me mad.
Wow!!! Cool game! I can't wait to try to beat another log in screen. Just wished my friends could play with me on the log in screen before it fails. :P
